    Fattoush Salad (highly recommend)

So glad we stopped in! This will be one of my go-to restaurants for fresh and flavorful Lebanese dishes. We were seated outside on the patio, we were treated to live music on this evening as well, there is additional seating both inside and at their bar. Highly recommend the fattoush salad, it was bursting with fresh flavors and herbs, we also appreciated the fresh pita and hummus that was served with our meal. I'm already looking forward to returning.

Had a great meal with a group of friends! Good vegetarian options. The cauliflower was fantastic. Ordered the tacos with falafel, the platter for 2, hummus and baba ghanouje tabbouleh and wings. Also had the lamb kafta. Everything was prepared well with great service. We all loved the food and will definitely go back.

Located in downtown fullerton off the recently opened to traffic "walk on wilshire", this was a restaurant I really wanted to like, no...LOVE. Unfortunately, it was a big NOPE. Here's why: 1) Live music! LOVE LIVE LOVE it. But it was cold, so we opted to sit inside. Inside the owner is blasting music completely discordant with the outside. I see your audio setup inside, just pipe the outside to the inside. So the night began with an aural assault. Can't hear the family at the table nor can we hear our server (who keeps apologizing and asking us to repeat things because she can't hear us.) 2) The food. Taste was OK, but for a senior chicken plate with hummus (1 stick = 4 squares of dry chicken) $15, and anemic shawerma wrap $17, and my full plate (2 skewers) which i asked to try a lamb and a steak. Lamb with 2 skewers would have been 28 and 2 steak skewers are 27... SO 1 of each is.. 28! Ok i can deal with that, but the lamb had the texture of liver. Pasty. Bleach. I washed it down with a glass of Adyar red wine $15. Total for 3 people, 3 dishes, no apps or dessert, and 1 drink (wine) $95 with tip. It also pisses me off when they suggest the tip starting at 20% AND they calculate it on top of the tax. You don't tip on tax!

Vibe & Service This spot easily handled our 10+ group on a quiet night. Staff was genuinely helpful and attentive throughout our meal. Menu Surprises Lebanese-Mexican fusion sounds exciting, but feels more like two separate menus living side by side. The tacos? Purely Mexican--no Lebanese twist in sight. Standout Bites The appetizer sampler played it safe with standard baba ganoush, labna, and grape leaves. However, the fried cauliflower stole the show! The warm pita arrived with that perfect soft-meets-crispy texture we all crave. Sip Worthy Their pomegranate cream soda packs a tangy yogurt punch rather than sweetness--unique and refreshing. Main Event My chicken shawarma wrap was decent but forgettable. The side potatoes arrived disappointingly soggy, though the powerful garlic toum sauce nearly saved them with its bold flavor. Bottom Line 3/5 stars. Great for groups and solid service, but the kitchen hits and misses. With those soggy potatoes and identity-confused menu, I'm not rushing back despite the cauliflower's valiant efforts.

This is my new favorite place! The parking is easy. You have to pay after 9pm but it's free before. The service is on-point and the food is absolutely delicious. The house rice is amazing!!! It comes with ground beef, nuts and cilantro on top. I am sure you can get it without the toppings. The owners are nice. She even got woman of the year. So humble and kind. I will be a regular for sure. Can't wait to go try more items. Oh, the iced tea was so fresh and tasty! Please go!

The most delicious food, kindest service, and wonderful music and ambiance! I've been eating at Les Amis for about 15 years now--since my college days--and it's always been an authentic, cozy space. I still remember the first soup I ever had here; it had flavors I'd never experienced before, and I've been coming back ever since. I love bringing my friends, family, and partner here. The owners are the sweetest, and the service always makes you feel at home. Everything on the menu is delicious, but I especially love the cauliflower dish and the mint tea. Les Amis will always be one of my favorite spots, and I'm so grateful for the many memories made here.

I brought 2 of my friends here for lunch today & all of us ordered the trio kabob combo which came with a side of salad, rice, hummus, & garlic sauce. We were also served pita bread & pita chips as starters. As for the kabobs, I had the lamb, chicken, & steak. Everything was delicious! I was glad my friends enjoyed it as well. This is my 3rd time here including pre-covid times & the quality of food hasn't changed which goes to show why they're still open! The texture of all 3 proteins were tender & perfectly seasoned. I was hesitant to try the lamb bc it can taste gamey but it wasn't at all. The salad tasted fresh & clean. The basmati rice was so light & good. I love their hummus & garlic sauce. Service was beyond excellent. Can't say much about the ambiance inside since we sat outdoors & it was nice.

The Mediterranean Shrimp Platter ($31). Lots of great food for a reasonable price.

Fun Middle Eastern Experience..... Pros: Excellent food. Big menu. Very friendly service. Cons: Parking can be tough during weekend evenings Star Ratings: - Overall: 5 - Location: 4 - Ambiance: 4 - Menu: 5 - Food Quality: 5 - Food Portions: 5 - Service: 5 - Price: 5 - Value: 5 - Parking: 3 My wife and I were in the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles during the Veterans Day weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday in the family. On Saturday night, 9 of us went to a long time favorite restaurant in the heart of Fullerton.....Les Amis. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Location: Central. Right in the core of downtown Fullerton (which is also a con...see below). - Menu: Large. Les Amis bills itself as "Lebanese", but the menu had lots of Middle Eastern favorites from areas outside Lebanon. - Quality of Food: Excellent. My wife and I had the "Mediterranean Shrimp" platter ($31) which they describe as "skewers of shrimp with vegetables in a cayenne pepper, lemon zest marinade and garlic butter sauce accompanied by hummus, pita bread and side salad". It looked and tasted as good as it sounds. I don't know what other members of the family had, but everyone seemed satisfied. The table shared 2 plates of a dessert called "Chocolate Biscuit" ($9) which was pudding inside a soft biscuit served in bite sized pieces. It was mighty good. - Service: Very friendly. The owner's family took care of our large table and were always around to help out. - Atmosphere: Casual and popular. Most of the tables in the main room and large outdoor patio were occupied during our 90 minute meal. Nice vibes. - Parking: Plenty when it's not busy. Not much on a weekend evening. Cons: - Location: About a block from the Times Square of Fullerton which means the location is easier to find than parking on weekends.....even though there's a big lot right behind the restaurant. - Parking: See above. It just depends on the day and time. Overall, Les Amis is a fine choice for Middle Eastern food with a focus on Lebanese specialties.

It is always a pleasure to return to Fullerton. Les Amis is always on the menu - especially when the Dixieselics are in town. The service is always gracious, and you just can't beat a summer evening outside in Downtown Fullerton! If you're looking for a memorable evening with good food, good friends, good wine, and good times, then Les Amis is the place for you!

We did not expect service and food and ambiance to be so excellent here. It was a last minute decision to stop in to try Les Amis. The music playing outside caught our attention. Very relaxing type jazz music. There is plenty of seating outside, however, we decided to make ourselves comfortable at the bar for this warm Saturday evening. The inside is darker and more romantic but both inside and outside are good choices for either dining in options. Our super attentive and enthusiastic bartender Edward was our server for the evening. Always smiling and always checking in on us. I absolutely loved this service. We ordered appetizers and drinks for the evening. The Labneh and the Kraidis were our apps of choice. I was suprised with how much I liked the Labneh, Arabic cheese that tastes similar to sour cream. Of course, you need to like sour cream in order to enjoy this app. The Kraidis was a sauteed shrimp app and very delicious with that garlic flavor. We will be back to visit our new friend Edward real soon! Thanks for the amazing service and food!

Finally got to try this place! Second time's the charm! We ordered two platters of chicken kebab and one plate of beef shawarma (not pictured). Both were great! The chicken was a little bit dry but overall great. The waiter was very patient with all of our questions and checked in on us as well. Great customer service experience. The vibes indoors were great as well, had a nice ambience and the decor was intriguing, tying up to a cozy vibe all around. I got the baba ganoush and it had a smoky eggplant flavor. The soup of the day was good as well, I think the waiter said that Wednesdays was more of a vegan day but other days, the soup can be meatier. It really had a variety of choices, from hummus or baba ganoush, basmati rice or house rice, to salad or soup of the day. Wonderful place! Oh and they also serve chips and hummus before your meal.

Really cute, great food The service is a bit slow but it's just one guy manning the whole place for lunch. I loved my 4 appetizer plate, the cauliflower was great, the watermelon salad was bright and fresh, and the hummus and dips were delicious. I will definitely be back. Get the fries with the garlic sauce.

I placed an online order for the baked fish plate around 12:45 PM and expected a bit of a wait since it was fish. After waiting about 25 minutes, I called and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was busy, so I understood. However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.

But where Pita Hot sets itself apart from those places is the community. When you walk in, you're greeted with smiles, a question about how your day is, and if you've been there a few times, a quick "how's the wife and kids?" Although some people may see the price tags and wince, they do not skimp on portions. They will fill your plate to the absolute brim, give you one huge pita, and send you on your way. The flavors on the food are nothing to scoff at either. The hummus, tabbouleh, and beef skewer are absolute hits. Flavorful bites with the perfect amount of balance between the acidity of the tabbouleh, the light and rich hummus, and the meatiness of the beef. The shrimp skewer is tasty as well but not something I think I'd get again. The rice pairs well with everything, and as I've mentioned before, the humongous pita they give you is delicious as well.
