What a great place to fly in for Breakfast or Brunch, but not dinner because they are closed! What you have here is an UPSCALE airport restaurant. Very nice, very clean, easy access from the parking lot or aircraft ramp. We dropped in for breakfast (for my wife) and lunch (for me). My wife ordered the Florentine Benny, with an order of Turkey Link sausage. I went with their proverbial $100 Hamburger with french fries. We also ordered their donuts which came with a cream cheese sauce for an appetizer. The burger was cooked as requested, and tasted great. The concept of the "$100 hamburger" is by the time you factor in gas, that's what one would cost. It's actually probably higher unless you have a short flight right now. The Florentine Benny (eggs Benedict) was enjoyed by my wife, who loves her egg dishes. Service was effective - it kept the water glasses filled, and even the soft drink and coffee cup filled. We go here for breakfast pretty regularly and enjoy it every time. The breakfast menu is pretty condensed but it has some unique dishes you won't find other places. Almost everything we've tried has been good. They also do a lot of different drink things, like coffee and Bloody Mary flights. The breakfast bites, berries and cream pancakes, and Bessie's stack are our favorites. It's a little pricey, but not horrible given the experience. Really cute place and great restaurant for kids! I took my little guy for breakfast to change up from our normal places we go to and was pleasantly surprised. We sat down to a fun kids menu with kids activities including Wiki Sticks. My son had the kids pancakes and I had the traditional eggs Benny which my little guy proceeded to eat half of. Stopped by for brunch around 1pm the day after a nearby wedding. The restaurant was lively but we didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered a bloody mary flight off a small speciality drink menu that didn't list any prices. It turned out to be $25, FYI. It had their classic, bold, and sweet & spicy mix along with a beer chaser. Each had different garnish to match the flavors. The sweet & spicy was my favorite. The beer chaser was a nice way to refresh after finishing the others. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and my friend ordered the chorizo scramble. Her scramble was delicious and had lots of variation within it. My buffalo chicken wrap was just average. The chicken was as expected and had plenty of blue cheese. The fries weren't great. They were a mix of overly crispy and soggy. I only ended up eating half of them. I would go with the buffalo chicken salad if I came back. Service was inconsistent. It started well and she came by quickly for our drink and food orders but then we didn't see her at all. The view is great here though. Love the aviation theme and that an entire wall is windows so you can watch the planes on the tarmac. read more

While we were having lunch, 3 planes taxied to the restaurant for lunch. Pretty cool. Our group had a mix of breakfast and lunch items. We had pancakes and bacon, eggs benedict, an omelette, a Reuben and a patty melt. All were very good to excellent. We had a couple minor issues. There are no large tables so 5 of us sat at a 4 top which made things cramped. The benedict wasn't hot but was still tasty. And the patty melt was soggy. But overall, it was a good time. And definitely worth a return visit. read more

First of all we have been going here for years and have always had good service and food. Having said that I feel like they may have new management. Our recent trip was less than what it usually is. Our Mimosa flight was juice, if they were out of bubbly they should say that, not charge $20.00 for 4 juices :( We also noticed food portions were much smaller than any of our previous times there. We would love to go back but for the cost and not being up to par we will think twice. BTW our bill for 2 was $70 read more

We were in the area on a very short trip. My boyfriend had been there before on business and liked it. We went there for breakfast on a Saturday. Tables were full so we sat at the bar, which we were totally okay with. The food came out super fast. I ordered the "special thing" on the menu with no pico. It was served as requested. However the sausage gravy was so peppery and something was spicy. I asked the waitress and she said maybe either but seemed she couldn't care less. This is where things fell apart a bit. They were severely understaffed. I would have liked a refill on my soda. I had to ask for one after I found some to ask. Then had to wait 10 minutes for it to come by which time we were done eating. Then there was no one around to ask for our check even after saying "excuse me".' We finally the check after another 10 minutes. Gave her the charge card. I saw her hand it off to someone else and it was at least another ten minutes. All we wanted to do was get on our way. read more

We got to Bessie's at 11 a.m. on a Saturday and had no wait. We got a table by the window but you could see planes taking off and landing from almost any spot in the restaurant, which has plane decor and a 50's vibe. We started with a coffee flight, which you can get hot or iced. We got iced and all four were awesome. Our waitress was quick and friendly and smiled! I ordered the All American combo , a basic order but all cooked to perfection. The cubed potatoes are seasoned and taste amazing. My husband ordered the Country Benny and he said it was the best he's ever had. Poached egg, sausage and sausage gravy served on an English muffin. We're going to be back for the lunch! read more
