This place is a bit hard to find if you follow yelps directions. It is actually up the street .25 mi. Since it is on a farm, everything looks like a farm and the signage is kind of small. The food was worth the effort in finding the place. The omlet was large with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. The biscuits and gravy were solid as well. Lots of chunks of sausage and once properly peppered and mixed with the egg yolks was spot on. Only a few tables and mostly regulars when I was there. It was a pleasant dining experience. Tiny little adorable restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Worth the drive. Do it. You park in the front yard of a barn house and immediately see goats and lambs and barn cats. Inside is a quaint seating area and through another door is another seating area and the kitchen. The food is all completely fresh and unprocessed. The prices are ridiculously reasonable and the atmosphere feels as though you've been invited into someone's home for breakfast/lunch. There are only a few employees so be prepared to sit tight with your coffee for a bit, but the wait is absolutely worth it. They also sell a variety of their own meats at affordable prices. We are definitely going back, and I highly recommend anyone who values good, farm fresh food to stop into this lovely place. read more

That was a great breakfast! Knocked off a star for two reasons: 1) The owner (?) was a little more...opinionated...than I anticipated in 2018. Just gonna leave that there. 2) There wasn't a single sign saying credit cards weren't accepted. If I had known that, I would have stopped for more cash on the way here. But the food was good and fresh, the way it's supposed to be. The coffee was delicious (remind me to bring my own splenda when I come back!) and my companion's blueberry pancakes were huge and the blueberries ripe! read more

There is "farm to table" and there is table at the freaking farm.....This place is the real deal. I have never been to such a farm fresh, local breakfast joint in my entire life. The cooking is done by the lady behind the counter, and her husband does all the greeting and seating. The food is phenomenal. Just plain homestyle breakfast food, that will make you thank god that you drove out to the middle of no where to eat it. There are a few options on the breakfast menu including several omelettes, pancakes, and eggs, but they specialize in breakfast bowls and biscuits and gravy. I opted for the chicken + salsa omelette which came with hash and your choice of toast....all for $6.50. The plate of food was HUGE, easily enough food for two, but you will want to eat it all. The food-----AMAZING. There is something about fresh eggs, fresh ingredients, and the fact that everything is perfectly seasoned and just taste good. I didn't even want to add hot sauce for fear of ruining the flavor. My colleagues got the breakfast bowl, which is basically hash topped with sausage, cheese, and eggs (i think). It also looked great and was definitely filling. Everyone at the table left content. The cafe is open from 8am-3pm most days and it is really out in the country. I can't wait to go back and try their lunch. They have a few options, but I can only imagine how good the burgers are. Do yourself a favor and make the trek out there. When we pulled in, I asked my father, who first found the restaurant via Yelp, "where in Podunk-ville are we!?" This restaurant, if you can call it that, is not a place you drive by and think to yourself, "we should try that next time." With hardly more than 6 tables and a gravel drive, appetizing is not the first words that come to mind. As we walked by the pigs and ducks, since the place is attached to a very used barn, the kitten greeted us with a "meow" and we walked in. As the amount of cars parked outside suggested, there weren't many hungry souls inside. We were greeted by the owner and he set us at our table. The four of us sat down in what is assumed to be hand-me-downs of restaurant furniture, and our waitress took our drink order. We passed the time looking over the decor, the breckfast menu, and the baby goats they had in a play pen just around the corner. As we glanced over the small menu, one item in particular stood out: duck butt muffins. Muffins made with duck eggs are not only bigger, but from what we tasted, better. We all agreed that the muffins are reason itself to take the trip over to this hole-in-the-barn. Our food came soon after and hot out of the oven is a light description of how fresh it was. My brother's omelette was stocked full of meat, the gravy was thick, and the eggs and meat could only be assumed as straight from the farm. My family isn't the smallest in the world, so biscuits and gravy is the breckfast of champions. The sausage wasn't sliced daintily, and greatly appreciated by 3 hungry men. And after a few bites, we all nodded in agreement that this breakfast was something we'd all try again. As we paid the bill, only in cash, we thanked the owner, our waitress, and the goats. When we arrived we visited with the farm animals. Such a nice place to spend time with the kiddos. The people were very nice and talkative. Family friendly place. They were happy to answer our questions and make conversation. We ordered omelets, duck butt muffins (don't let the name fool you, they are AMAZING!) And hash browns. Food was very enjoyable. Service was not slow, not fast very friendly. They also had a little store section to buy meats- we took home a few sausages to try! TERRIBLE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I only give it 1 star because that's the lowest allowed. This place is a complete joke!!!!!!!! I took the family based on the other reviews on here. I think the neighbors are trying to help these guys out. 1st the entrance is all overgrown with a year's worth of weeds..that you practically trip over going up the ramp. You kinda expect a farm experience and smell, but when in the actual "restaurant" and I use that term very very loosely..there was a very bad smell..turns out fresh hay was stacked in the barn above us..yuck. Even still..thought we'd tough it out and give the local person a try. When the man finally came over and asked us what we'd like to drink we ordered 1 coffee and 4 waters while we looked at the menu. He brought the coffee over and said he'd be back with the water...that's when the electrical problems started.. Total power went out..then on and off...not based on weather..but die to overloaded circuits. The man left to go to the breaker boxes..meanwhile the lady behind the counter and in the kitchen was oh great not again.muat be a relay switch again.. Lights on, lights off, no air conditioning at this point either. 20 minutes pass..and the lights stay on for a couple minutes and the man finally returns and says .."can't help you today". That'll just be $1.50 for the coffee. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? HE'S GOT THE GUTS TO CHARGE ME FOR THE COFFEE AFTER ALL THAT??? So I hand him $2 and said that it's awful that he would even charge me for the coffee based on the experience we just has sitting through all of this and he said "well you had coffee right?" What an a**hole!! He followed me out and and threw the $2 at me and said " he didn't need the.money and had to much to worry about right now" I would definitely make sure not to recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely make sure to be calling the health department and building department. Not even sure he ever went through the proper process to have this "restaurant" on the Farm. This is one of the most unique places we have eaten at. It's an actual farm with animals every where, including wild Turkeys. For being a farm we were disappointed with frozen hash browns and plain tasting eggs. Their Duck Butt Muffins were the best thing on the menu. Place wasn't the cleanest we have seen. The pork chop was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The sausage gravy was totally awesome too. I even got a couple of pounds of the sausage for at home.
