Best Bride helped me and my husband get married in August! Leora did a great job with the wedding, and is actually quite affordable compared to some other wedding planners I met with. Leora helped us from start to finish and I'm glad we chose her! She really understood the look I wanted for the wedding and we decided to go with her because she was comfortable with chandeliers and everything that goes into that. Not all planners are comfortable with chandeliers. There was a huge permitting issue at our wedding venue Beverly Wilshire and we lost our ceremony area. It was a huge ordeal but Leora helped me with connections and helped move our ceremony to Montage instead so the day was saved! There are no words to describe Leora and her team. My husband and I had the most epic wedding thanks to her. Leora knows her shit and everything is taken care of if you are working with her. She is the best investment we made for our wedding and I would do it all over again and trust her with anything and everything. My husband and I had a 12+ hour wedding - starting with a hindu ceremony, a street food experience , jewish ceremony and reception. not only was the day logistically heavy because it was at hummingbird nest ranch (which is essentially a blank canvas), but she had to build our vision from scratch. We hired Best Bride (Leora) for full planning services for our wedding in August. We were very unhappy with Leora's work and performance and do not recommend her services. I don't like to give negative reviews but I think brides and couples should be fairly warned that hiring Leora will not bring any ease. If anything, she caused more stress, confusion, and frustration up until the wedding day. I made my budget clear to Leora multiple times. She continuously delivered quotes that were above the budget and proceeded to push back when I requested to stick to my desired budget. Simply put, if Leora did not think my budget was feasible, she should not have taken me on as a client. Also, I asked Leora multiple times for a valet quote over a month before the wedding. She kept saying she was "working on it" and only provided the quote the week of the wedding (which was again not in line with the budget). Days before the wedding, I had to find and book the valet on my own when it should have been taken care of weeks prior. 2 days before the wedding, the hair and makeup teams called me frantically asking for details regarding the timeline, location, etc. I gave Leora their contact info 6 weeks prior and she did not coordinate with them at all. I didn't believe a self proclaimed "best wedding planner" could miss the mark on something so simple and important. I asked both teams repeatedly if Leora ever reached out to them and both said they never heard from her (I have voicemails and messages). For that to fall on my shoulders 2 days before the wedding is beyond unacceptable. At this point I felt so uneasy about trusting Leora with my wedding. The night before the wedding I had to hire a separate day of coordinator because Leora proved that she could not handle it. At the wedding, Leora's vendor provided broken stairs for the chuppah. This was extremely dangerous for the older family members, the Rabbi, anyone wearing heels, etc. This was her responsibility. Leora approved the rentals before proceeding to bother us for payment. After the wedding, I had to contact the rentals company who refunded me for the stairs. Leora refused to take responsibility and should not have approved the stairs during the walkthrough. Lastly, Leora and her team left before the wedding was over. She left around 11 pm and the party continued until 12:30 am. At the end of the night, my husband and I had to take care of locking up the house, making sure everything was clean, organized etc. when this was her job!! She left her duties and responsibilities to the bride and groom to handle. We were absolutely shocked. Overall I do not recommend hiring Best Bride (specifically Leora). If you do not use her vendors and do exactly as she says she will be pushy, rude, and disregard you and your wedding. She argues back at anything you have to say that's not in line with what she wants. If you scroll through her yelp page, you will see how she argues back with every comment that does not praise her or her work. She is incapable of being wrong, of listening to her clients, and is a very difficult person to work with. She seems to only care about clients that she can make an extra dollar off of or that make her Instagram page look nice. Save yourself the headache and hire any other wedding planner. Leora is incredibly professional yet she is still very laid back and fun. Bottom line - Leora is AMAZING, made our wedding even better than we ever could have imagined and kept us calm throughout the entire process. We hired her right after we picked our venue and she was a part of every step of the way from then. She created a calendar with "to dos" for every month to keep everything on track, and as promised everything was taken care of on time. She was VERY organized and incredibly responsive. Particularly in the last few weeks before the wedding, I texted her almost every day, multiple times a day, and she was always happy and quick to respond to any and all questions. She has a great personality and is very easy and fun to work with. I loved that she gave us her honest and experienced opinion and didn't just tell us what she thought we wanted to hear. She worked wonderfully with all of the vendors and coordinated everything with them up until the day of the wedding and throughout the day of. This review is long over due. I got married on 11/11/17 and I cannot express how much the Best Bride team meant to me and my wedding. At the beginning stages of planning the wedding I didn't really think I needed a wedding planner. I am a very organized, detailed oriented person. I had so much of my wedding planned out. I thought why spend the money when I can take care of it all. The more I thought about it I realized if I were going to enjoy my wedding day I would need to have someone there helping me take care of all the little details that I will not be able to take care of. I didn't want to give any of these tasks to friends and or family members either. I wanted them to enjoy themselves also. Best decision ever. I would never have been able to do everything the Best Bride team did. Leora was my contact person from day one. She is fantastic. She answered all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns and even worked with my difficult schedule to get me in for our meeting. My first meeting was with Leora and Bailey. I immediately liked them both. We went over every detail I had planned and the things that I did not have planned I was a little concerned about, but they helped me figured it all out on that first meeting. Bailey was with me the entire day of the wedding. Looking back on that day now, I cannot image doing it without her. The wedding coordinators (lead coordinate was Sheena) were very inexperienced and very unprofessional. The only feedback I received from guests at my wedding was that my wedding coordinators did nothing but hung out at the candy bar eating and picking on the candy. They said everything else was great. Extremely embarrassing for me to hear from my guests. I can not express how embarrassed I am to hear all the negative feedback from my guests about the wedding coordinators. Sheena didn't seem to hold her composure well. She was rude to my bridesmaids and didn't seem to listen to my husband and I or follow a very detailed timeline I spent numerous hours on. Everything that went wrong with my wedding was caused by the coordinators. I would not recommend anyone going with this company especially if Sheena is the lead coordinator. I don't like to give negative feedback but I strongly felt that Best Bride needed to hear what they did wrong and hopefully learn from their mistakes to improve. It's been a busy while since our wedding, but I've finally found some downtime to address people we've been meaning to thank, with the ladies from Best bride being some of them. Our wedding was on August 27th at Mr. C Beverly Hills, and my team from Best Bride was legit! Sheena was our awesome lead coordinator! Her and the team, Bailey and Nicolette, were professionally dressed in chic all-black outfits making them easy to spot, walkie-talkies and ear pieces in place, and constantly in communication with each other. They worked very hard and did a good job facilitating everything, especially since I had no idea what was going on for most of the day. They were constantly checking up on me and my bridal party to make sure we had everything we needed. When my husband and I were doing our first look, there was really no space for the bridal party to be closeby enough to watch, so Sheena and the ladies actually filmed the moment on their phones and showed it to our family and friends as soon as it happened (which brought my sister to tears). To put into perspective how seriously they took trying to keep everything running smoothly; they were even willing to get my brother some eyedrops from my bag which was a few floors down from where we were having our bridal party photoshoot, because he was complaining of dry eyes before taking photos.....So nice of them. Also, Sheena was given just 3 sheets of cake, a few flowers and branches...and NO direction and ended up arranging a wedding cake table that was so beautiful and just how I would've wanted it...if I knew it could look like that LOL. And at the end of the night we finally hobbled over to our hotel room to call it a day, and we were SO surprised at how beautifully Sheena and the ladies had decorated our room with flower petals and candles and even saved huge slices of our wedding cake for us to enjoy! We felt so special until the very end thanks to them. Thank you BestBride so so much for helping us out with our wedding day :). I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. They seem to do a lot of Persian weddings, but mine was not Persian, and they did a great job. read more

I was not planning to hire a wedding planner or coordinator for my wedding, but then I decided that a month of coordinator would help things to run more smoothly on my wedding day, and I am SO THANKFUL that I made this decision! I purchased the Silver Service package from Best Bride and had the best experience working with my lead coordinator, Sheena. A few weeks before the wedding, I met with Leora and Sheena to go over details of the wedding and create the day of timeline-- and I was impressed by how organized both Leora and Sheena were. I was able to text Leora with any questions I had (even several months before the wedding), and Leora was always quick to respond. For example, she was able to provide me with a list of recommended make up artists and hair stylists that she had worked with before. When Sheena took over as the lead coordinator for my wedding, she made me feel at ease (not an easy task!) and assured me that she would handle anything I needed help with leading up to/on the day of the wedding. She told me to text her anytime (even in the middle of the night) if I thought of something that I needed her help with. A couple days before the wedding, Sheena met with me to pick up any items that I needed to be set up on the day of the wedding (ie party favors and cake decorations at the reception hall, etc). I completely trusted Sheena and she executed my vision for the wedding flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, it was like Sheena could read my mind. Any time I asked if she could do something (ie help to pass out corsages), she had already done the task! Turns out there was no need for me to worry :) I was SO grateful to have Sheena and her assistants to help on the day of my wedding- I am sad the event is over because I miss working with them! It is evident that the Best Bride team cares so much about making the weddding the best day for the bride and groom, and they go over the top to ensure this happens. Wow! All I can say is Danielle is amazing at her job. She truly went above and beyond at our wedding on 9/5/15. Danielle and her team (unfortunately I can't remember their names) were just fantastic. They we're really on top of every detail, and took away a lot of the stress. This really allowed me to relish the day and live in the moment. There we're a few little issues with guest and logistics, but every obstacle was tackled promptly and professionally by Danielle. Prior to the wedding I met with Leora and Danielle. The meetings were so helpful in making sure that every detail was thought of. I had forgotten about the programs, and Leora was able to organize a printer and graphic designer that did a beautiful job on such short notice. I really can't recommend them highly enough. My mother initially was against the idea of having a planner. Thankfully I didn't listen, and even she was blown away with how great they were. If I could give Leora and her team more than 5 Stars, I would. I usually don't write reviews this long, but this one is well deserved! I'm usually the kind of person who likes to take charge of everything myself. I coordinated my older daughter's bat mitzvah two years ago while working full time. Needless to say that going into the wedding we finally felt completely at ease being in the hands of Leora and the Best Bride team. On our wedding day we can't even put into words how blown away we were beyond our wildest imagination with how it turned out. She literally put our wedding dreams that we had talked about to life! And the day went flawlessly! There was a member of the team with my wife and I throughout every moment of the day making sure everything was on track. They did everything from making sure we ate, drank and even took restroom breaks lol. They were that on top of it! And at the end of the night when we got back to our hotel they again went above and beyond and had our hotel room completely decorated and even organized from the insanity of getting ready that morning with our wedding party. Where do I even begin? Lets start with a crazed fiance who is attempting to pull off a wedding at the worst possible time except maybe World War 2!! Covid hit and a little over a month before our wedding our reservations at our hotel wedding were cancelled. This repeated three more times along with having to find new vendors each time! Leora and her team are the absolute best. I am very type-A controlling and letting just anyone plan our wedding was not going to suffice. I heard about Leora from a friend and after our first meeting I knew she would be a perfect match for us. We had strict deadlines and a lot to accomplish and Leora made everything seamless! It was so much fun going to every meeting, planning the wedding was the least stressful experience I could have imagined! Leora truly knows what she's saying. For example, she wanted me to get ready at 730 AM and wanted dancing at the reception to go for 45 minutes before the first course of dinner. I am SO glad we listened to her because I got all the photos I wanted and did not feel rushed at all... everything went on time and smooth.
