I haven't been in any Best Buy in years. This is a nice store with plenty of TVs on sale. I came here because IKEA has a kitchen planning center inside the store and a friend suggested I make an appointment and see if they could help with my son's kitchen remodel in NY. Big shout out to Jaqueline who took her time and went out of her way to help me planning a kitchen. I had the dimensions and professional measurements and she created a beautiful kitchen with everything including appliances. This is a free service offered from IKEA and Jaqueline was knowledgeable and excellent at her job. While I was in the store I was able to look at appliances which my son will be able to order online and have delivered. read more

The worst!!! One star is too high We bought 3 TV's with hopes of having 2 mounted on the walls. Our first installation left us with a 5x7 hole on the walls because the installer felt resistant but kept cutting into the dry wall. Dry wall dust was everywhere and tools were left on my furniture and on my bed cover. The tv was put in the wrong place and the installer did not want to fix the hole because they had a long ride back to Miami even though they said they had the equipment to repair it. We paid far more for this installation than we did on our main tv that was installed by someone else who did a very clean job of installing. We had to return to Florida, paid $1000 to travel to get this situation fixed. We are given an early appointment which was then changed twice without notice to us.The whole day was lost. When you have a problem- fix it first then move on to other jobs. Now we wasted another day waiting. You can't call the store and the AI conversation is worthless. When we finally got through to the installers, they were rude. I would never suggest Best Buy nor would I use them. read more

I've sent this email two times to two different contacts at Best Buy and no response. Horrible customer service. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the handling of an extended warranty claim for my Meta-Oakley Vanguard sunglasses, which I purchased on 02/20/2026 along with a two-year extended warranty coverage through 2028. Two weekends ago, the glasses were destroyed in a motorcycle accident after being crushed and run over. Following the accident, I contacted Best Buy customer support via text message (which I have retained for documentation purposes) to explain the situation and inquire about the warranty process. During that interaction, I was specifically told not to worry because the glasses were covered under the extended warranty until 2028 and that I should visit my local store and speak with Geek Squad for assistance. I then went to the store and spoke with Geek Squad staff, who advised me that the store would be able to complete a "refund/exchange" process and directed me to customer service. Customer service then verified the "refund exchange" process and instructed me to select a replacement pair of glasses for the exchange. I subsequently spoke with an employee in the glasses department, who provided me with the replacement glasses under the understanding that the warranty exchange had been approved. However, when I returned to customer service to complete the transaction, I was informed that the store manager was denying the exchange because I did not physically have the destroyed glasses with me -- only the Meta glasses case. I explained repeatedly to every employee involved, including the online support representative, that the glasses had been completely destroyed during the motorcycle accident and were no longer recoverable in usable condition. When I requested to speak directly with the store manager and again explained the situation, he stated that the only thing he could offer was a $50 credit toward the purchase of new glasses. During this interaction, the manager was dismissive, rude, and condescending, including rolling his eyes at me and repeatedly stating that I "didn't understand" what he was explaining. It was very clear to me what he was saying -- I simply did not agree that a $50 discount constituted honoring the extended warranty coverage I had purchased. I had the original case for the glasses, which obviously serves no purpose without the glasses themselves, further supporting the fact that the product had been destroyed. Despite this, the manager insisted there was nothing further he could do. Initially, he was not even willing to refund the amount I paid for the extended warranty until I continued to escalate my concerns. This experience reflects extremely poor customer service and a misrepresentation of the extended warranty coverage, particularly after multiple Best Buy representatives -- both online and in-store -- advised me that the damage would be covered under the warranty. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this situation was handled and respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and appropriately resolved. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I am very disappointed with the customer service I didn't receive at this location. Upon walking inside there were four workers just standing around, wasn't greeted. I had to walk around to look for someone to assist me with a purchase and couldn't find anyone. Horrible service. Came in to buy myself an early birthday present. I walked around for almost 15 mins looking for an available blue shirt person to help me. Then I walked to the front of the store and the rep they have standing I there called someone to help me. I walked to the tablet area and waited another 15 mins and no one came. I walked to the front a 2nd time. This is when I finally got help. Horrible horrible customer service. I knew what I wanted. It took 10 mins to get the item, pay for it and walk out. I had an horrible experience at the Boynton Beach Florida store. I was confused about how your trade in program works  so I tried calling the store and could get through. Finally customer service provided me with an extension and after calling about 15 times I finally got someone. They explained how it worked so I drove 40 minutes to the store to make the trade in and buy another item. That store was the only one that had the item I wanted to purchase and there was only one in stock otherwise I would not have drove 40 minutes.  It was a long line and only one cashier so I patiently waited my turn. Eddie the cashier initiated the trade but became frustrated because he didn't have any back up cashiers and the line was getting longer. He could not figure out how to use the scanner to a picture of my trade so he started ranting and told me "the store is closing in 30 minutes and I don't have time to deal with you". I advised him that that they only had 1 of the $330 item I was attempting to buy and I was able to come the next day and I was also worried about them selling it before I could get back. He became frantic, raised his voice and started insulting and embarrassing me infront of everyone. He then lied and said the system was down. I asked for a manager and he radioed them in front of me. He said " I told Helen we close in 30 minutes but he doesn't get it or understand no matter how simply I say it to him". Then he tells me the manager said I have to wait 15 minutes and they close in 30 minutes. It was obvious the manager didn't want to talk to me. When the manager Lambardo came he was rude and dismissive. He imediatly started defending Eddie and lied say the system was down. I told him there was nothing indicating that and Eddie just said that because he didn't want to help me so the manager called an associate Paul who came and processed everything in under 5 minutes. Eddie and Lambardo did not even try seems like they just wanted a punching bag to take out their frustration on. Both were quick to be rude and condescending. They had plenty of different options from which to choose in stock and lots of sales people to help. We had a quick question and it was answered pdq. And just like that in under 10 minutes, we had a new TV. While we were there, I also looked at their washers and dryers just to get an idea of their selection. So many of the newer machines are now electronic, but I really don't need anything so high tech. Prices include delivery and installation and for a small fee they will also remove your old machines. I bought Apple AirPods from Best Buy with the AppleCare, I connected them and was using them but I realized one day they wasn't showing on my findmy app, I went and got told i was supposed to to some steps and it would show and after doing them it still didn't show I even went on the Apple page and seen other people was going having the same issue. I than went on YouTube follow steps from a couple videos nothing worked due to fact i be busy i left it alone, so I end up losing or misplacing my AirPods i couldn't use the find my app to locate them, so I text Apple for help, the person made me i would have to pay $89 for the missing AirPods and $99 for the charging box which would come to about 208.60 if I'm not mistaken. So i told him no and why i can't find them he didn't help. So i ordered new pairs and now after connecting them I'm having the same issue they connect but they're not on the find my app, i contact Apple support again and they made me do all the same steps I've done before for my previous AirPods and when it didn't worked he schedule a call for me to talk to his senior's advisor and that's when she informed me that when Apple release a phone after 7 years it becomes absolute or incompatible with certain features. And due to that certain update aren't available for phone. So now my problem is how is it my fault i can't locate my AirPods due to a software compatibility issue that Apple is aware of. Why was I sold AirPods that's incompatible with my phone and on the box it says "compatible with iOS device, iPadOS device, Apple Watch, or Mac with latest software." If I could give ZERO star I would. The absolute worst service. Trying to find a sales associate on the floor, a week before Christmas was painful. When we finally found some associates, they hd no clue how to answer our questions or where to find merchandise. One associate just looked at us with a blank stare and said"NO" when we asked if he could help us. The help there seem to have no intelligence nor do they possess any customer service skills. Frustrated and angry with the Geek Squad "service" I've gotten here. Twice I have needed help with my TV, the agent on the phone has said that she'd get a truck out to visit me, and that the appointment would be in about two weeks. Two weeks? Yes. Both times I replied by saying that my problem was probably something that someone could easily fix by just talking me through it, as technical support at Apple, T-Mobile, Spectrum Cable, Costco, and other companies that serve us can do. It's less expensive for them to do things this way, too, because they're not sending someone around in a spiffy truck. But no, Best Buy's Geek Squad insisted that they had to send the truck. So both times I called a neighbor -- a 74-year-old retired English teacher -- for advice. Both times he listened to me and then said, "Just do this" or "just do that." And both times the problem was easily solved, as I'd suspected. What is wrong with Best Buy's Geek Squad that they have no tech support people when you call them and then they make you wait two weeks regardless of how complicated or simple the problem is? Britney yelled me when customers stood in line in awe of her rudeness & unprofessional behavior. I had the computer 3 weeks and did not discover the crack at the bottom of the screen until I had set it up. I left Mr. Prasad 2 messages through the corporate number and he failed to return any of the calls. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products, which is especially remarkable considering the novelty of arm based windows laptops. He clearly put in many hours of his own time to know the technology inside and out, being able to not only tell me about technical specifications, but also relevant current news. My wife ordered a hairdryer online. In the email it does not mention the return policy for Best Buy. When she picked up the blow dryer she was not given a receipt. They took says oh no you got an email. There's a sticker on the blow dryer put on there by Best Buy know where does it say 15 day return policy. Even if you buy a $10,000 TV you got 15 days to return it. Unless, you give them more money for their little Amazon competition program. We will never go back to Best Buy. read more

This Best Buy has been around forever. I don't make my way around to this one like i used to between Amazon (electronics) and Netflix (movies and shows). There was a time I used to come and be jazzed up, and people I knew were jazzed up, and everyone around me felt jazzed up. The spark is no longer there. I don't attribute this to the staff. The staff are polite and well trained when I go to the register. You can maybe argue the selection isn't what it was, or maybe there are just other options that are better. It's certainly not bad, Best Buy. But being that they used to be the place to go to get anything electronic for a good price, even DVDs -- I used to spend a lot of time browsing through before deciding on one, they are just other spots to go now. But if I'm in a bind, then they are still dependable when I need to make a purchase immediately for cables, a computer, or a movie if I need to use the DVD player. read more

The Geek Squad at least for this location is extremely disappointing. I bought two Toshiba HD Fire TV a 75 in and a 65-in. I have to wait about 10 days for delivery and installation. One was a wall mount the other was simply put the TV on the stand and leave it on the floor until I get my dresser to put it on. One thing I didn't like was that I was lied to. This particular geekster came from the fort Lauderdale store because Rob couldn't make it to this appointment he had an emergency. So RJ and Barbara showed up from fort Lauderdale to do his installation. I give everyone a fair shot. But when you BULLSHIT me, and try to convince me that the internal speakers on these TVs don't work well and that I should buy a Sonos soundbar costing $500 plus satellite speakers for another 250. So first I asked him well let me hear the speakers on the TV. He says to me well we can't get it up and running because you're not hooked up to the internet yet. Okay that's fine I said have to thinking about it and looking up online and doing some research I said I'm not interested in the Sonos. But he went on to still trying convince me as if he was doing me a favor. They completed the installation I gave them both tips and they left. I turn on the TV after hooking up the internet in the living room Andy sound came on from the internal speakers and it was just fine perfect no problem. Just saved $500, but the worst part is that they mounted the 65 in the bedroom on the stand I didn't check to see if the internal speakers were engaged. So when I hooked up the internet and went to turn it on low and behold there's no sound and of course it's Saturday night and Sunday no one around to help. I then called Geek squad on Sunday morning to see if they'll help me from Boynton Beach. I get some girl who says well my installation has an updated in the system yet. After going back and forth with her numerous times I said to please have a supervisor or manager call me today. She said she would escalate the situation and make sure somebody would get back to me. Not a single phone call. Nothing zip nada. I spent a decent amount of money at Best Buy and I expect best service. Now I'm going to have to call Toshiba to find out if they can help me over the phone. Oh yeah that was the kicker Geek squad won't get on the phone and got you to solve a simple problem for you. I have never had such a bad unprofessional experience as I did here. I purchased all new kitchen appliances and seen that they had an open box special on the refrigerator I was buying so I bought it. I came back 3 days later to pick it up. When I got there I checked in using the Best Buy app, then I waited in line to be helped, everything seemed to be going ok. After waiting for half an hour I went back to the counter to ask if there is any update, I was told they are wrapping it up now and it should be out shortly. After waiting another half an hour i went back to the counter and seen 4 people in line 1 of them was an elderly man that had a pickup order as well. They gave him his tv that he was picking up and didn't help him load in onto a cart or into his car, so i decided to help him out and helped him get it onto a cart. Once it was my turn I asked again if there was an update and was ask if I could show them the refrigerator that I bought. No problem I said. I showed the employee the unit. He starts using very dirty language telling me. No one in this f****** store knows what they are doing all of them have their heads up their a**. He told me this isn't even his job and not what he was supposed to be doing but he was going to help me anyways. He asked me to help him pull out the fridge me being the nice guy that I am said sure! So was both grabbed it and started sliding it out and he punched it towards me and crushed my hand in between the other fridge next to it. He said do you want it wrapped up? I said of course so he said ok well I haven't got those supplies here so I'll have to go get them. I said ok. He then seen his boss and she told him not to help me because it wasn't his job and she would take care of it and him and instantly disappeared. I went toward the back doors to look for her and seen the the guy again and asked what happened. He literally told me. You'd be better off taking it yourself and pointed me to a dolly. So me and my brother took the dolly and picked it up and loaded it into my van without being wrapped or anything. Mine and my brothers arms were scrapped up and cut all over from the sharp edges on the fridge. I asked for the managers name and I was told it was prov. Not sure if that's the write spelling but I will get to the bottom of this tomorrow morning for sure. Until then this was BY FAR! The worst experience I've ever had at a professional business like Best Buy. This use to be my favorite store.
