Went to the Bridgeton Best Buy, which is now an Outlet. They sell TV's, washers, dryers, stoves,refrigerators and more. I went in to look for a refrigerator, and saw a few that i liked, but the prices were too high. The items they sell here are discounted due to being an open box item, dented, scratched, etc. the prices on the refrigerators appeared to be regular priced. I was immediately greeted and helped upon entering into the store. I opted to look around before deciding if i was going to purchase. I did not purchase due to the high prices, so i went to look elsewhere. read more

Subscription services are the worse. I signed up for a water filter subscription for my new refrigerator. I receive a water filter every month. I have tried to unsubscribe on the web site, but there is no place on their web site to notify them, I want to no longer participate in the subscription service. First and foremost, this store has not closed permanently. It's being converted to a Best Buy Outlet store, which is excellent as their stock, post-COVID, had many returns and open-box items. I like Best Buy, but with Micro Center near my next closest Best Buy location and better price matching, I'd rather go there first, and if I can't get what I want, I'll head to Best Buy. The Bridgeton store used to be one of the busiest stores rivaling only other Best Buys with Magnolia, but sadly they couldn't restaff the store, customers stopped coming, wash, rinse, and repeat. This seems to be the "norm" in today's world. Compared to online shopping, and the aforementioned Micro Center, Best Buy was, and still is, more expensive. This is a massive hit for most. I shifted the average of $4k I spend here to other retailers since they temporarily closed. The last I heard was the reopening was sometime at the end of June or July 2023. read more

Despite all the time they had to improve their closed to people store that was curbside pickup only, they surely could have done a better job. I arrived at 1:05 after receiving a 12:13 email that my refrigerator was ready to pick up. I was in a designated spot and called 4x, being on hold and eventually hung up on. I finally got through and told them the spot number I was in. Nothing for over 30 minutes, but they were taking to the cars the $20 orders. I talked to 3 guys bringing out the small orders and gave them my name and confirmation number. Still no luck. they said it was not up front to bring out. I guess it was too heavy for someone to get it to the front of the store. 55 minutes wait later, the 1 guy who said he'd get to the bottom of it finally brought it out. Bought a computer, they were out of stock so they ordered it. They didn't have any in stock nearby so they refund the money in about two weeks. They took their jolly time to serve the customers. But once they do the employees were somewhat friendly and appeared to be patient. I gave them 2 stars because they took my money in an instant but couldn't refund it at least a week. Plus they take long to serve you. For the three times I been there I averaged about 13 minutes wait time. read more

This is one of the closest Electronic stores to me. Best Buy is the only option left besides Micro Center and they are more expensive than most stores for movies but have decent deals on some things. Online stores are still cheaper. I guess target sells electronics but nothing worth my time. Great store and usually helpfull people. Hmmmm... seemingly mentally challenged lady aimlessly pushing a shopping cart around the parking lot in from of the store today while occasionally yelling. A guy playing Super Mario at a display for at least ten minutes at full volume also yelling out his experiences. Maybe they were together? A little too much for me to consider buying my home theater there. I give up on shopping or eating in Bridgeton MO. Service is bad everywhere and the parking lots are consistently filled with...characters. 5 minutes over the bridge to St. Charles and it's a different world. Poor Floor and Decor...did not do their homework, just invested big to open while all other big chains have closed and run. read more

Best Buy has the worst customer service ever! Geek Squad damaged my $1500 laptop multiple times and it's less than a year old. It was sent in to have a sound issue repaired. They determined that the cause of my issue was a bad motherboard. So they replaced my motherboard and sent my laptop back to the store for me to pick it up. When I arrived to pick up my laptop I noticed that they failed to connect one of my hard drives. So the geek squad "store agent" Jeremiah (the only person to this point that has showed they care about customers and is competent enough to handle their belongings) opened my device only to notice my laptop was reassembled incorrectly. We also noticed that the service center caused physical damage to my laptop. At the bottom of my laptop the person who tried to fix my pc bent the metal at the bottom. At this point I was furious and asked for a manager, the manger (Fran) acted as if there was nothing she could do, and said it needed to be sent back to the service center (the very people that messed it up in the first place) but this time they would "escalate" the ticket so the work would be done faster or replace the laptop if it couldn't be fixed correctly this time. So I hesitantly agreed. Here we are one week later, yesterday I arrived at Best Buy to pick up my laptop only to find that not only was the cosmetic damage not fixed, but they added another bend in the metal of my laptop and stripped the screw on the bottom so bad that they replaced some of them, but not all. Now I have a couple stripped star headed screws and a few Phillips. Here we go again, I asked to speak with a manager to have my laptop replaced, MOD Darryl is called over. Jeremiah goes over the situation with Darryl to have the situation resolved, and Darryl tells me he needs to contact the GM Danny James (who claims he isn't in the building, but really was per one of Best Buy's employees) Danny the general manager wants me to send my laptop back to the service center for a third time to have it "repaired" (repair is used so loosely) Over the next two and a half hours of trying to contact someone with more authority I finally talked to a guy named Chris at geek squad. He claims that he sent all of the information to the regional manager, but who really knows. I mean I have been transferred to every meaningless employee in Best Buy. This is a multi billion dollar company that has ruined my computer and refuses to own up to it. There is some much more to this story, but I will spare you all the details. This is the way they treat their elite members? It's UNACCEPTABLE!!! The only reason I used geek squad is because of ASUS recommendation. On Aug 2019 I bought a HP pavilion from another Best Buy and on October 8th 2021 the "mother board" got fried. I took it to the geek squad who explained to me everything & that I'd be better off purchasing a new laptop, which I did and so far everything has been great. I have done a lot of business at this location and I can't say one bad thing about any of my experiences. The store manager is very professional and very kind as well as the whole staff. I'm always greeted immediately with kindness and smiles. Anytime I ask an associate where something is I love that they walk me to the area to assure I find exactly what I'm looking for instead of pointing and telling me " it's over there". They've been great and are always welling to help resolve any issue to assure I leave knowing I received the best customer service in the industry. Recently we bought a new LG tv from best buy on May 26, 2019. The t.v. started acting up this weekend on June 21, 2019 so we called best buy and they told us there's nothing they can do with the t.v. The t.v. is only 25 days old out of the box. So now were out of $600 and a t.v. I tried calling the store twice and the phone just rings off the hook and no one answers. I finally got ahold of the store manager and she told me she can't return outside of the 15 day return policy. Otherwise I go to the Brentwood store, they have a larger selection of most everything. Yes, I know I can order online for an item to be shipped to the store, but that takes patience. I utilize the Geek Squad at this location. The Brentwood store, as much as they have a better selection of items is also very chaotic. When I got to the store they were unable to help me because they said a special adapter was needed in order for them to look at my computer! If I needed to bring anything with me other than the hard drive that should've been told me at the time I made the appointment. I was told I could go home get the adapter and come back really!! This was my first Black Friday at Best Buy and my last. There were so many things that could have been handled better. I picked up a Wii and since the price sign was missing, I asked one of the associates assigned to Games, how much it was. I was told $99.99 today only. Sweet! After I stood in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes because there were only 10 registers, I found out it was actually $99.99 ONLINE ONLY AND FOR THE FIRST HOUR! I shared with the manager the price I was quoted by one of THEIR associates and was politely informed..."sorry for the mixup ma'am". Having been in customer service for 20 years, I would have been ok if the manager had asked the associate if he told me that information to verify. So I needed customer service to see if the screen would fit on my phone and she needed customer service help her find her phone but I was helping her letting her use my phone watching her baby so yes I set the item I had my hand down and you know that I was in that store ovee 45 minutes trying on cases not being able to find the one I needed asking if I could get help and no one was available so maybe if you improve your customer service a little more he wouldn't have to worry about lost prevention and catch the Real thief that was bragging to his friend about his free phone case cuz you were dealing with me the innocent one okay.
