I've been here a few times now and don't know that I'd come back. If you are looking for higher end appliances, this is a great place to shop for deals. For me, on each occasion I was just looking for regular kitchen appliances. The selections were small and higher price than I'd expect at an outlet. Service is hit and miss. One time, everyone was busy and no one was able to help me, but pointed me toward the section I needed. Another time a person helped, but they were a bit bossy. I didn't love it. I have not made any purchases so cannot speak to that. read more

I came here initially because I had purchased a fridge before. So we found and purchased a washer and dryer set which we brought home ourselves, got home leveled the washer and it kept throwing error codes. They asked me to bring it back, they ran a rinse and spin cycle and it "worked" brought the washer all the way back home to have the same issues. They brought a tech out here who thought it wasn't level, claimed our floors were sagging (not true) I asked to swap the set, and had taken photos of a set similar. They agreed to swapping for a cheaper, smaller washer. They had told me the set I wanted was already sold. When I arrived I found the set I had asked about still available, the salesman "claimed" that the set was just put out, all they did was move it to another spot, and took a piece of tape off and added a scratch to the top of the dryer which the salesman reluctantly pointed out the other set didn't have. How do you remember every scratch and dent on every appliance there? Who knows.. thankfully I had pictures and they were identical in every way minus one piece of tape that had been removed but the residue was still there. They then wanted me to pay the difference, my original set new was $1300, the original salesman sold them to me for $1200, the set to swap was $1400. I had to argue since I have been patient throughout the experience of going back and forth as a disabled veteran was not easy. After I called the salesman out for lying, the manager agreed to the deal. It seemed to me they were trying to get one over on the situation and lie. They then said that my floors weren't level so they wouldn't cover any warranty, wild how I brought the new washer home, leveled it the exact same way as the one prior, and had worked with zero issues. I get it, they are selling scratch and dent appliances, but be fair to the customers. read more

Everything nice I said... I take it back. My 13 month old $2,006 refrigerator developed a problem with the door seal on the freezer. Warranty is expired by a month. No problem. Can't be too expensive. Right? I called repair man and he came out and looked the situation over. He thought the problem would be easily fixable too. Then he looked at the plate on the refrigerator that gives the model number. The model number was covered by a stamp reading "NFC." That's "Not For Consumers." It turns out this unit was originally sold by a big box store. Their customer returned it. The big box store stamped over the model number and then it was purchased by the appliance wholesalers. They sold me a refrigerator that was never supposed to be sold. And the stamp runs over the model number so I can't even get it repaired. Anybody care to guess how much satisfaction I've gotten from the appliance wholesalers? Change my five star rating to a zero star rating. read more

i was looking for a bigger size and with a light air fryer. came across this website, advertise on website new, and didn't say used or refurbished. i also did the warranty. the bake button dosen't work, the grill rack is all peeled, the rubber from grill on edge 2 of them broke, the glass cracked. when contacting the manufacturer about the warranty, i was told they can't honor the warranty because it is refurbished, i told them no it is new, they adviced me to contact st louis appliance. so i did, and this manager brian said it was only under warranty for 3 month and i had mine for 5 months, i replied and told him on your website it says 6 months warranty, also told him that if i knew i was buying a used or refurbished air fryer i wouldn't have ordered one period. told him you are deceiving the consumer with your add, stating that the air fryer in new when is not! i just wanted to replace the grilled rack, and his only option was that he can send me the part but i have to pay for shipping. i told him to take his grill rack and shove it up his as$, people always read reviews before purchasing anything from this company it will safe you the headaches. stay away from these scammers that only cares about taking your freaking money and not honor 6 month warranty advertised on their website and have pictures to prove it. st louis appliance store is a big scam. and i will continue to post reviews in other platforms to warn others. read more

Horrible service for delivery. They refused to ship to us after placing our order unless we signed a waiver saying regardless of how the product arrived they wouldn't take a refunded and that all sales were final. But this waiver is sent AFTER you've already made your purchase and they've taken your money. Then when we refused to sign the waiver and wanted to cancel our order they charged us a 10% restocking fee for a product that never left their facility. The waiver after a sale is a direct violation of contract law. Their reviews show great service but maybe that's for locals that actually go into the store instead of online ordering. Spend a lot of money and bought washer dryer, samsung fridge and glasstop stove...washer just died and refrigerator died after less than two years.. this equipment is junk and i would avoid this place as the warranty is not gonna keep you from losses...never again will i buy "sophisticated electronic appliances" that are cheap chinese made junk...After looking at other websites i learned the Samsung has a known circuit board defect and many "go out" after a short while--i can verify that..and the washer has an electronic board that went out yesterday and its going to the dump...cheaper to get a used Roper or Maytag used on Marketplace than even get a tech to come to the house...avoid this place...and positive reviews have to have been ficticious... read more

Sales staff are amazing to work with....but if something goes wrong with installation or moving management will act in the best interested of the "3rd party" mover. Managers should be retrained on customer service and understand as a "3rd" party you act in the best interested of the customer or report it to movers insurance. I didn't find what I was looking for at the first location so I went to the second location in Earth City. I had lots of questions and my salesman was very knowledgeable. He was not high pressure sales at all. They delivered next day right on time and the delivery guys were awesome. I would recommend buying from here. My family bought an oven from them two days ago. They have a third party who they hire to do installation. They paid for this service. Movers came, and checked the burners and left. The oven control panel doesn't work and the oven doesn't turn on. St. Louis Appliance Outlet said if they already registered their brand new oven (like they were told to do) than they would forfeit their Whirlpool warranty by having a technician come fix the oven. At the BARE MINIMUM St. Louis Appliance Outlet should offer to return what they paid for installation because installation was not completed. It was simply moved into place. Shame on this company for leaving a customer out to dry just days before the holiday season. read more

Buyer Beware! We bought a new house and needed some new appliances. We bought a washer/dryer and kitchen aid double oven from this place. When the dryer arrived at the house there was a HUGE dent in it that had been covered by cardboard at the store and the salesman never told us it existed. We were ok with this as it is a scratch and dent place and didn't push it. However, we used the self cleaning option on our new oven and the insulation liner MELTED. We contacted the manager at this store (after calling for 2 weeks with customer service promising someone would call us back and they never did) --finally after getting in touch with a manager they immediately said it was our fault for using the self cleaning option since that is too hot and caused the melting. This is unbelievable (what oven can't handle its own self cleaning option?) and finally the manager actually looked at the picture we had sent him and agreed that shouldn't have happened. We also contacted the manufacturer who confirmed this should have never happened. Then we had someone come out for the warranty from this place who determined the melting was cosmetic so it wasn't covered by the warranty. This place is a complete scam who only wants to sell you a product and get rid of it as quick as they can and has sales people who have no idea what defects are in their appliances. read more

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when ordering online with these guys. I was charged a $500 restocking fee for a fridge which I cancelled that never left their warehouse. Their product pages often do not make it obvious what condition a product is in. This was the case for me. The online product page had no pictures of the actual fridge, just a stock photo of a new fridge. However, if you squint towards the bottom of the page, sometimes (and only sometimes) you will see that a product is rated a certain quality grade, the description for which is buried deep in their website. Only after I made the purchase did they send photos, which showed the fridge to be heavily used. Their cancellation policy is also buried deep in their refund policy page. What's more, they sent me a document asking me to agree to not file for a chargeback. read more

Buyer beware! 1st of all the lighting is dim. This is to conceal scratches. The Whirlpool repairman said many of the appliances are returns from big box stores. They other 3rd party delivery so that you think they're not responsible. Whirlpool said they are responsible for damage. I bought a Whirlpool Gold Series that was supposed to have dual icemakers... only 1 & not even an option for another. Attached are pics of the damage done to my fridge & home by the delivery company. It was delivered without the kick plate/vent cover. I have called multiple times but no one picks up after you purchase an appliance! I've left messages on vm but not 1 return call!!! I'm filing small claims against them for the cost to repair the damages to my home & fridge. I was smart enough to take a pic of the fridge in their showroom, thank God! This place is not for the faint hearted. Honestly, I was really worried and kept asking lots of questions like "this is new right?" or "This is really a USA warranty-right?" Its located in a very sketchy warehouse where everything is just a jumble and not so tidy, so its not a great place for your aging Aunt Bunny to buy anything. The pricing is very good, the selection hit or miss but we found a refrigerator we liked but I copied the serial number down to insure prior to delivery that the warranty was actually valid (it was) but this place does not inspire a lot of confidence. When asked about the delivery, we were told its in cash (I was ok with that) and he seemed to make the number up on the spot, kinda like a used car guy sizing you up for what he thinks you can pay. In the end we got a good price on the model we wanted so I guess this had a happy ending, but its a place where it really pay to ask a lot of questions and take nothing for granted. read more

Well I hate to leave reviews except for exceptional service Not so here. In fact I would rate their customer service an F. My freezer needed fixed or replaced. They sent out repairman who incorrectly diagnosed the problem. From there it was down hill. I bet i contacted them via phone or text 12 to 15 times. Only 1 time did they return a call. Each contact they promised to get back to me. It has been nearly 2 months that I got original freezer. Replacement is due in today. I sure hope it is not banged up with missing parts. I didn't even purchase anything here and don't plan to. I went in to look at fridges for my office - fully prepared to buy if the price was right. I'm not even sure which salesman was helping me but he was SO rude and clearly couldn't be bothered. He was asking me questions and then cutting me off while I was answering, and more than once asked if "my boss was the decision maker and one with the credit card." I only mentioned I needed to run this by my boss before I committed to a purchase. It's been a while since I dealt with such blatant misogyny and it was ridiculous. I said I would probably shop around a bit as well, meaning online. He said to me "well it's your gas." Incredibly rude and uncalled for. Needless to say I did not stay in there long and will not be purchasing. A lot of the appliances I saw were incredibly overpriced as well for the bad condition they're in. should have read reviews prior to visiting I walked into store looking for black side by side refrigerator found one grade A then asked sales Rep Zamp to show me ranges found one then asked if you had financing because I hadn't plan on purchasing a range. I was taken to a computer. Zamp was in my personal space as i was entering my info filled out the application and started to review information I entered.Zamp stated push submit. I said allow me to reciew the info i just entered are you in a rush. I was approved for $4000. I told Zamp before you fill out the invoice let me go home to make sure the measurements are accurate and I will be in Saturday to complete the transaction for stove and refrigerator. His whole attitude changed. At that time I had made up my mind that that was the frig and range I wanted. Next day Friday called the warehouse asked to speak to Zamp had a few questions prior to coming Saturday. He wasnt in yet spoke with Melissa asked for model numbers for frig and stove she texted it to me told me Zamp would be able to answer any additional questions i had. I called Zamp back he got on the phone i asked him why was the black frig higher than the stainless steel. He responded rudely you have a grade A and the Stainless steel is a grade C. I then told him I dont like your tone and all he had to do was explain the grades to me,he stated you dont like me anyway. That Wowed me! As a customer I should be able to ask questions about an investment/ purchase. He then said if you want the Stainless Steel you need to go to the Earth City Store. I told him I came to the store that I wanted to come to and Im just patronizing your business. I then told him maybe I'll take my business elsewhere. He said maybe you should and hung up on me. I called back seven times no one answered in warehouse. I called from my second cell they picked right up. I asked for a manager believe his name was Ken not sure but at this point it doesn't matter.
