Super nice cashier here tonight! My bf bought me a Magic Mouse because I really wanted it and thought it would make my life easier. Well, I have a touch screen iPad and it just didn't work as well as just touching the screen does so I wanted to return it. The receipt stated there may be a restocking fee, which was understandable since I opened the package and tried it out before returning it. We came in tonight and waited in the Customer Service line. An employee asked us if we were doing an exchange, but we told him we wanted to do a return. He said the Customer Service was closed (it was after 5PM) but that anyone in a blue shirt at the checkout registers would be able to help us. So we got in line there and the cashier who helped us allowed us get a full refund on it. I explained that I just didn't like how it worked and would be fine with a restocking fee being deducted from the return amount, but he actually gave us a full refund. I had a very unpleasant experience at Best Buy. While I was at the phone display, an alarm kept going off -- not even from the phones I was touching. A salesperson approached me in a very rude and aggressive tone and asked, "What are you doing?" I told him I wasn't doing anything. He then said, "Then why does the alarm keep going on?" which felt like a direct accusation. The way he spoke to me was completely disrespectful and made it seem like he was implying I was trying to steal or do something wrong because of the alarm. However, the store "lead," Ernie, refused to honor their own return policy and couldn't show me any fine print to support his reasoning. I came to Best Buy to buy a PS5 as a gift for my little brother and came to find out I was sold a used PS5 that was damaged! They sold me something marked as "new" which didn't even turned on and when I came back to the store to exchange it, I was told they couldn't do anything about it nor return my money, I had gone over their return period for 5 days and explained to the manager Jonathan that it was a gift and that's why I was not able to exchange it before , (I do not live with my brother) he just said it's not their fault that their inventory came like that, so when I asked why they don't check the products they sale, he just said they get a lot of PS5. I called to costumer service to see if they can atleast return my money or try to reason to the store and Alex just said if the store sold it to me like that and said they can't do anything about it just to leave it like that. So, I find it extremely stupid that I cannot get my moneys worth when I was sold something that doesn't work, and even if I hadn't gone over those 15 days, I was told they were not going to be able to exchange it for me because the console did not match the box number. I can assure my 10 year old little brother doesn't have 5 fucking PS5s to have swap out a damaged console in the box. It is very upsetting that the store doesn't take accountability for selling a damage item nor they have any type of explanation why they can't double check the products besides saying "we get a lot". I am taking time out my day to make this complain because it is very frustrating knowing I lost $500 and my brother's bday gift was damaged. This Best Buy was my last resort for a new computer. As I entered the Best Buy, I was greeted with attitude and on top of that the customer service was beyond horrible. As I went to ask for store credit I was trying to be as patient and polite as possible. It turns out to be that was a waste of my patience and kindness. I came here in this store to get my Ipad Pro 11" 4th generation a new magic keypad. Take note i have my ipad with me to make sure i get the right apple keypad. They sold me the one for ipad air-not compatible for my ipad. I came back again to be disappointed with another wrong product. The person helped me and stated that he will ship me the keyboard in 2 days. I agreed and went home. After receiving the item through mail, i opened my package for another disappointment- they sent me the 13" keypad. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 30 mins with best buy customer service-they didn't resolve my problem that best buy had created. Best buy customer service had told me that best buy burbank has the right item. So i came back again today to best buy return the wrong item and to exchange it. For 45 minutes of frustration i just had enought when they gave me another wrong item. All they could do is apologize with no resolution nor compensation with multiple returns to this store. That is why they got 2.4 stars-their customer service is just rubbish-and with this aweful experience please avoid this crappy store. They dont have customer service skills, no resolution to offer, no compensation and they will make you feel like its your fault not theirs. The absolute worst. came in here to purchase Meta Ray-Ban's. They were locked up in a case so I approached the gentleman working behind the desk in the back where the gaming equipment, was situated. He obviously did not want to be bothered and told me the rep for the metas was not present at the time . I still wanted to see the glasses whether the rep was there to explain how they work, but he, refused to open the case saying he didn't have a key for it. I knew he was lying so I approached another employee and told him what had happened. He unlocked the case for me. (I knew they had the keys)! Although he was more helpful, he still had little knowledge of the glasses and gave me a schedule for when the rep, would be there next but because of this experience, I decided to just walk over to target a few doors down and purchase my glasses there. The time before that I came in to purchase a flatscreen television. I practically had to beg someone to help me. When the guy came over, he quickly answered my questions and promptly walked away from me. True, I was in the middle of a move and looking kind of Bummy , wearing ripped jeans, a T-shirt and leather jacket. I ended up spending $1200 on the spot, so my advice to the employees of Best Buy...
