Our LG Dryer had an issue, drum turning very heavily with a loud noise when loaded. Also, our LG Washer accumulated dirty water in the tub after load was done. Quick, professional, courteous service. Arman came out to diagnose the issue with my refrigeraotr ice/water dispenser panel going dark preventing the buttons from working. He ordered the appropriate parts and came back the next day to install them. He was done in less than 15 minutes and the problem appears to have been corrected. In my experience, every single time I have had a warranty repair from an appliance company, they have assigned me to a company that has a one star review, and which delays coming for days or weeks while I don't have a working Appliance, and which has incompetent and or rude technicians. MGR is clearly the exception to this! They are among the top two Appliance companies I have ever dealt with. Despite this being a warranty job, they accommodated my request for a same-day visit, something which is unprecedented. They showed up on time, two guys well dressed in uniforms. They worked very well together, clearly explaining everything. And went above and beyond with respect to doing their work. They explained everything to me and left the place cleaner than they found it. EDIT in response to comment from business: I told everything exactly as occurred. The "business manager" was not there so did not hear what I was told by technician. It's possible the technician made a mistake or misspoke, but that is what I was told. Maybe they didn't realize it prepaid service through LG when they spoke. Just because they have been working there for over 3 years does not mean they can't make mistakes or mess up. I would have absolutely remembered if they said "3 months warranty". Regardless, I spent over $360 for a repair that didn't actually fix the problem. Original review: I am very unhappy with this company. They came out to fix my LG washer that was leaking. They replaced a part and told me if it continues to leak I can contact them in several months (even up to 6 months) and they will come out again to make it right. My machine was still leaking a few months later, so I contacted them. I was then told that the repair warranty was past the 90 days (by only a few days), so I needed to contact LG again (and pay over $360 again). This is not what I was told by the technician So now I'm down over $360 and my washer is still slightly leaking. read more

Worst repair service we have ever used. We had an LG washer for a year now that we bought brand new from Best buy. Paid for a five year extended warranty. This company sent out a repairman and he said it was not level. He leveled it even though it worked for a year after being installed by Best Buy. Repairman said it was over loaded with just a small throw in it, even though we had washed heavier loads for a year. He changed the setting so it only filled about two inches of water. This has been going on for about two weeks so it has been hard to wash our clothes. After he left it quit again, won't spin or drain water. We called them again and asked for a different repairman, they sent a different repairman out again with an attitude that we didn't know what we are doing. We showed him the book stating it can handle heavy loads but he didn't care. He said it was overloaded and it worked fine. I have never had such poor service from any company before. Looks like I am heading to Best Buy in the morning to complain to the store manager. UPDATE: Went to Best Buy website and several people had the same problem as me (1 start reviews on this washer) and LG told all of them to have the washer replaced by Best Buy. I guess there is a sensor or something that goes bad that tells it how much water to use. All the service tech had to do is read the 1 star reviews on Best Buy and the response from LG. Store manager offered to get us a different repair company. We had used this washer for a year and it was never overloaded, my wife has pictures. Only works on deep fill, even if only has a small item in it, wastes lots of water that way. Best Buy is replacing the washer this month as per LG recomendation. read more

Disclaimer before this review.... AVOID SAMSUNG FRIDGES. Had our brand new Samsung Bespoke Fridge break down on us not even 2 years into its life. Thankfully we were still covered under manufacture warranty. They sourced repair to local service companies and we chose MGR Appliance since it generally had the best reviews. All communication was done through text and they were pretty responsive in the beginning. They diagnosed our fridge with having a broken compressor and had to get approval from our warranty company to then order the part. I know a lot of the waiting period in between is not the appliance repair's fault, but I felt communication could have been better from MGR as there almost were no updates or even expected timeline relayed to us, and I felt I kept having to text and ask what the next thing we were waiting for. 1 week later, the part was approved, and then we had to wait another 1 week for the part to get shipped. Kept asking when we could expect it, but they kept just saying it's on the way but have no ETA. It finally arrived and they came to fix our fridge, nearly 3 weeks of not having a working fridge from when all of this started. Everything seemed ok for the first week, but then our fridge broke down yet again in the same manner and was completely inoperable. We then had to file a whole new claim since our previous claim technically was "resolved". Even though I had already been working with MGR, I had to reexplain the entire situation again and have them come out again to diagnose the problem as the entire PCB being faulty, or replacing the brand new compressor they just fixed again for possibly being faulty. Thankfully at this point, Samsung decided it was not worth it to keep fixing this fridge and decided to reimburse us entirely for it. I am still giving MGR 3 stars since they overall were still better than some of the other service companies we were working with, and when the tech was here, he seemed to still do a through assessment of our fridge. It was just frustrating working with them overall feeling there was no sense of urgency from their part and feeling we were left in the dark most of this entire back and forth process. Better communication in the future especially with expected timeframes of authorization approvals and part shipments would be helpful. read more

We have being using this repair company with our warranty for Fridgidaire. They have come out on 2 separate occasions failing to diagnose and fix the issue properly and they close the case as if it's fixed and we have to reopen another case each time with warranty company. We are giving them a 3rd chance as we figure it's easier to narrow down the issue after failing to diagnose twice, but our experience has been poor and a bit of a headache honestly. read more

Extremely disappointing experience with MGR Appliance Repair. They were sent by LG for warranty service on my leaking LG washer. The technician claimed he fixed the issue, replaced multiple parts (water valve assembly, detergent dispenser, tray), and reported to LG: "No more leak detected." The washer is still leaking. Now they refuse to come back and are hiding behind the excuse that the warranty has expired, even though the problem was never fixed in the first place. My clothes dryer stopped producing heat. I contacted Lowe's for my extended warranty and I selected MGR Appliance Repair based on online reviews. After confirming a few details via text, MGR offered an earlier appointment on Saturday, instead of waiting until Monday (much appreciated!). The repairman Arnak arrived early and completed the repair in about one hour. He was very polite and thorough, taking the whole dryer apart, vacuuming out dust and pet hair, and replacing the igniter and thermostats. Because it was under extended warranty, I didn't pay anything. But, for the quality of service, I would pay for MGR's service after warranty. read more
