We've gone through almost 2 months of dealing with used appliance shops or people on Facebook marketplace selling appliances and it always felt sleazy to us. My original Thermador refrigerator was finally diagnosed as incurable it was 25 years old. It was part of a twin built in set. I reached out to Thermador who found a replacement for almost $10,000.00 that was including delivery, disposal, installment etc. I was not ready to accept this so I googled discount Thermador fridge and I ran across this company and spoke with Martin. He listened to my needs and came up with a PERFECT replacement it was a newer model 2019. He quoted $3000.00 plus $400 delivery and installation. It was such a great deal! We got a side by side sub-zero panel-ready fridge and freezer set from them. Martin helped us out from the very beginning. He was very accommodating and patient with us. He helped us find what we wanted that would work best within our budget, and then he even held onto the two items for a couple months while our remodel was slowly moving along. When we were finally ready for the items he delivered them, and when we found that there was a problem with a couple of the leveling gears he honored good warranty and sent someone out to fix it. We just save thousands of dollars on a brand new open box subzero 42 inch refrigerator. We called you inquire about it two days ago. A little back-and-forth with some pictures and videos and boom it was just delivered tonight. It's an absolutely perfect condition. We couldn't be happier. Twenty three year old Thermador range finally gave out. Sticking with Thermador, I quickly found prices sure have changed in 23 years! Looking to save a couple $'s, I went to Discount Appliance to see what they had. It was the end of the day and they stuck around after hours to answer my questions with no pressure to buy. I ended up buying a slightly used (but looked brand new) Thermador at about a 30% savings. They lined up delivery and installation for the next day. Very professional installer was efficient and tidy. The installer tested the range and found one burner was out. He called Discount Appliance and they sent a tech out the next day with the parts. I bought my dream La cornue stove at this store. They are able to repair many high end appliances. They have wolf , Miele, la cornue and others. The store often gets new inventory so if you come on different days you might find something different. When I saw this burgundy La Cornue , I had to have it. It took months to repair so you have to be patient. The prices are good and Martin is nice to work with. My stove works great and I am happy I found this store . read more

Customer service at DAW is excellent. I dealt with Martin on a Miele washing machine that got damaged in the transport and delivery. Martin immediately got a very experienced tech from Miele to come on a Sunday to try and fix the problem but parts needed to be ordered. This took some time because the parts were not readily available and Miele's own customer service seems to have suffered during the pandemic. Martin was on top of them but when I could no longer wait he graciously replaced the machine with a newer model. I would definitely go back and recommend. read more
