I went into Best Buy to change my cell phone provider to Visible. I had read that Best Buy was where you could now go to do this and that an associate would be glad to help you set up your phone. CJ (who was waiting on me) didn't know anything about that, BUT he checked and saw that was the case so so he would try to assist me. He did an absolutely WONDERFUL job. This is the worst store i been to i literally tried to get a pokemon 151 booster pack and the lady said they didn't have any. I go out outside and see and see a customer wal out wiht one in front of my face. I go back into best buy and the lady saying that im harassing her and told she was gonna call the cops. WOW...Just wow...i can truly say this was the worst phone customer service I've ever dealt with and I'm 62 years old. And its not even the store employees... So, I called to get an update on my IPAD... automated attendant asked what department I was looking for,,,I said geek squad. the response back was "having trouble with our phone system please call back". Called back an hour later. Same response. Called back 2 hours later same response. Emailed, got a response from a rep named James at 11:01 asking what I need an update on. responded at 11:10. Crickets, I responded again at 1:16 crickets. I then noticed James title...he was in sales so im sure didnt care about a repair...Out of the blue got an email at 2:17 that my IPAD was ready for pickup. It had a link for me to set an appointment (set an appt...WTF) to pick up my IPAD but none available till 24 hours later. So, I called the store, same response from the auto attendant (phone problems try again later). I decided to outsmart their system cause we know best buy is all about sales so instead of geek squad I asked for computer sales...amazingly no phone trouble but a 10 minute wait, I'm thinking "ok, at least ill get to talk to a person". 10 minutes later a girl answers. I said "I actually need the geek squad but the auto attendant wouldn't let me through"...she said 'ok, please hold"...I get a message "current hold time is 24 minutes". I'm thinking "you've got to be kidding me",,,so I left my number...got a call about 15 minutes later from a very nice GEEK Squad member and he said my device was ready and i could come pick it up at any time. Nov 2023 I purchased an Insignia refrigerator. In April it broke. Lost all food due to repair delay. In May it broke again! Lost food again. They asked if I purchased the 'coverage' for loss of food. I guess they don't believe in their products (broke within 6 months). I didn't purchase it. Round and round with the store in Burleson. I'm asking for $138 for food reimbursement. Nothing yet -June 28. UPDATE: received the $138 per District Mgr. Corp. denied any claim. Still took 6 visits to town to try and rectify as there is no local phone # to call. I went to this Best buy yesterday. I got a brand new TV from a replacement service that was shipped from Best buy. I talked to three customer service people. They said just take it to the nearest Best buy. Replace it for a bigger TV if that's what you want or different one so I go up to the Best buy in Burleson in the bone-headed manager said you had to have a receipt and I said I talked to customer service. They said as long as they can look and see it was purchase from Best buy that you could return it and get store credit to buy a bigger one if you wanted or this idiot told me that You had to have a receipt so I call Best buy this morning. They told me to go to another store because that manager is not following Best buy procedures and he is wrong. Kind of sad when you're a manager. Worst phone experience ever. Called this store 3 times and was put on hold all 3 times. No one ever came to the phone. Lady that answered the phone all 3 times was named Joy. Called back and asked for the store manager and was again put on hold and no one answered the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. When Joy answered the phone the last time I called and said she would put me on hold I said "no", and she laughingly said "hold, thank you", and left me on hold. I will be stopping by to let this store manager know that he lost several customers and potential sales on 2 iPhone 6s+ due to the lack of customer service at this store. I'll take my business where someone actually wants it and is willing to speak to me on the phone. After not going to this store for many months, I went in again today. My in-store experience was nothing like my last phone experience. Dealt with a wonderful young woman named Amanda, and then a super nice young man named Kaleb. A very poorly managed store. Just calling the store and having a person answer the phone is problematic. Then, if you're really lucky enough to have someone answers the phone after five or ten minutes of sitting in cue, they transfer your call to, (in my case the TV Dept.) where someone hangs up the phone after about ten rings without answering it. Then having to go through it all over again, then again and finely giving up and going to Walmart like I should have done to begin with.... Obviously the rank and file hourly employees have no customer service training. I wonder how much they are costing the company in sales? Then I tried to get a hold of "Corporate - Customer Service" what a joke that was. If you have any stock in Best Buy you better divest yourself of it. Ok I had an amazing experience at this Best Buy customer service. Joshua had no problems getting my daughter an upgrade NEW replacement phone when hers busted. HERE IS A REVIEW I LEFT ABOUT MY PROBLEM IN Weatherford. I can't thank Josh in Burleson enough. They are all willing to help and be nice when you purchase something but when you have trouble with something they pass you around the company and customer service like you have a disease. We have bought a protection plan for $60 on my daughter's phone. It started acting up and Glitching so we took it in . The customer service lady told us Geek squad had to handle it. Then Geek squad told us that we had to go home and call a number to reach the main office. Then they proceeded to tell us it was going to cost another $50 to get the phone exchanged for a REFURBISHED phone not a brand new one like we were told when we bought it. So we call the store to complain and the customer service Lady wouldn't even talk to us and handed the phone to the geek squad who in return said he would get his manager to call us. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL ALL DAY YET. My daughter is without a phone. It's cheaper to buy something off Amazon and then get a new one when it breaks. read more

I took my Grandmother into the Burleson store, she needed a new laptop. Thanks to Best Buy for lacking customer service and not helping us she saved 300 on the same laptop at Walmart. The two employees in the computer section were talking and laughing, she went to get their help and the guy said he would be there to help, 20 min we waited while he talked. So we left, bought the same computer at Walmart for a lot cheaper and actually had help. She cut up her BB credit card later that day. Good job! read more

Extremely disappointed. Yesterday was my wedding anniversary. So I loaded up and went into my local Best Buy for his gifts. Bought a few things including a digital Xbox one video game. After checkout I got a digital receipt. To save a sliver of a tree and all. Well that's when they told me the digital code would be on that receipt and she couldn't print me a copy of it. So I waited about 10 minutes in front of her until my receipt showed up in my junk box. No code on it. It said that the code would be emailed next. Well...8 hours later and still no code. So I called the number on my receipt and after 20 minutes of run around, they generated a new code and instead of giving it to me right then and there they said they would email it in 48 hours. Defeats the purpose of buying it today, right? Finally they told me after a bit of complaining to return to the store and they would refund me and I could buy a hard copy of the game. Before going up there I decided to call the store to make sure I could return a digital item that I didn't receive, before going all the way back in person. How bittersweet. After being hung up on 5 TIMES, I finally got someone to pick up. Described what was going on and she said I needed a manager. 5 minutes later some kid gets on thinking he is answering a new phone call. Nope "put me back on hold, I'm waiting for a manager". He made me describe once again what I needed and after I did, said I needed a manager . 5 minutes later and the same kid gets on and says I can't have a refund. OKAY.... now I'm getting hot. After some vulgarity and loss of patience, he placed me back on hold and tried a manual refund. Came back and said it was impossible. Now I really flipped. I advised him I've worked in customer service a LONG time and I hate to be this person but...I handed him his own rear end, and I told him (in much harsher language) that I will NEVER shop at this store again and it is completely unacceptable customer service they have proved. And yes I know, it makes no difference to them about losing 1 small customer, but I didn't care. I could even hear the people behind this kid coaxing him what to say and forcing him to deal with a very upset customer instead of dealing with it themselves.Grow a pair Best Buy employee and get on the phone. Just be thankful I wasn't in person. I saved a trip I guess. I ended up going to Game Stop and buying a copy there. Which I received immediately. The lack of customer service I received from this location is a perfect example of why consumers are shopping Amazon. The cashier Gabriel reflected a lot more customer service than what was received by Thomas, one of the so called Store Managers. This should have been an easy transaction. I went in to exchange some IPods that were purchased last year for a gift. Package was unopened and they could verify my purchase, but because it had been over the 14 day time frame Thomas wouldn't approve the return. So my logical next question was, "well what if I didn't have a receipt"? He then said they would return for the lowest selling price in the last 14 days. Thomas had one simple decision to make...take care of the customer. You weren't being cheated, there was nothing dishonest about the transaction, yet he thought it was a smarter choice to make by upsetting a customer. If this is how Best Buy trains their associates then I'll choose to take my business somewhere else where they actually care about the customer. read more

My son recently purchased a $300 air fryer and toaster oven for my wife's birthday. It wasn't exactly what she wanted and when I went to return the item (which happened to be 22 days from purchase), they would not refund the purchase. We had the receipt and the item was unopened. Best Buy pointed at their return policy which is 15 days for "regular" customers. Best Buy will NEVER receive any of my money due to my experience as well as the horrible return policy. read more

They place their employees into the difficult decisions who are unable to make any real decisions and management has no training and is completely inept to the processes in management. Use caution and be aware that any issues you have here will not be met by management and they will only frustrate you further. This is a real hit and miss store, sometimes I go in and get an employee that does an outstanding job and knows what he or she is talking about and other times I will get one that pulls the answers out of the air and gives real bad information. I research most of my purchases before I go in the store and have pretty well decided on my purchase and know about the product I am going to get. My advise is do your research before you shop in case you get that employee who will tell you anything. Most of the employees are great and will go out of their way to help you. read more

I've always been a good customer of your company but after our experience at your Burleson, Tex location tonight, most likely our patronage will have ended. We went to exchange a Apple Watch I bought for my wife for Xmas, she was going to upgrade to the stainless with cellular, the store didn't have it in stock and we were just going to maybe find it elsewhere. The night manager John said it was out of policy because it was a holiday purchase. I explained we had my mother in law in the hospital one weekend and a daughter the weekend after that and have been unable to find time to get here. His exact word were "it's our of policy, so you can take it and go". We said excuse me and he repeated it and said I'm not arguing. This young man is rude and has no business in the customer service industry. My wife and I are both in banking and would both be fired if we spoke to a customer the way he spoke to us. So this location has a mix of people knowing what they are talking about to completely uninformed. I came to look at the four (4) cameras I am interested in; 2 DSLRs, 1 mirrorless, 1 point and shoot. You can see I was over the entire spectrum of cameras available. One (1) associate was so knowledgeable and I would have preferred for he to help me the entire time, even though I left without a purchase. I wouldn't have spent ~$700 on a camera day of anyways, as I started my research a few hours before coming in to see them and play with them a bit. The other associate I mentioned above, was practically clueless. He asked me if I needed help and when he told me a 12 GB camera could hold 8,000 pictures I knew he had less of a clue than I did when it came to all things camera. I had no need to correct him, as the other associate did before I had a chance. I would've ordered the camera due to him alone, if I were so inclined to make a purchase the same day. read more

I just purchased a laptop (MacBook Pro) and the iPhone 7 Plus from this store and it was a very pleasant experience. The employee that helped me with the computers was friendly and extremely knowledgable. He took the time to walk me through all of the options I had by way of laptops and knew all of the specifications for each. I felt very comfortable with my purchase and that I was getting the most bang for my buck. Additionally the Mobile phone employee that helped me was knowledgable and friendly, and helped to get me the best deal available.Neither of the employees were pushy or completely salesman types. He tried to say he wasn't able to schedule it because of something on Thursday ran over...but I made my appointment on Tuesday!!! I'm very disappointed and now have to rearrange my entire schedule. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If i could give zero stars i would. I scheduled an appointment through apple.com to have my screen repaired. When i arrived for my 4:40 appointment one of the Geek Squad employees told me they would run a diagnostic and tell me exactly what the phone needs. After the diagnostic he stated that the battery was dying quickly and that the entire phone would need to be replaced for $99. He said i did not have the option to get just the screen repaired. I explained to him that the battery was dying quickly because the screen was constantly glitching due to the cracks (turning itself on etc). He told me there was nothing he could do other than doing a full phone replacement. I left the store and called AppleCare who instructed me that the screen could and should be replaced. I returned to the counter with AppleCare on the Phone and without even speaking with them he decided i could now have my screen replaced. He asked me to get back in line and wait until the 6 people before me were serviced. Finally they accepted my device and told me i could pick it up in an hour. I returned and hour and a half later and the phone was still not ready. Around 7:00pm they brought my phone out and told me that the screen was replaced and the camera was not working. While huffing and puffing breathing heavily as if he was the one being inconvenienced, he worked to figure out how to put in an order to have the device replaced. After about 10 minutes he told me to "just leave" and he would follow up with me later that evening by phone or email about the request after he put it in. Today after not having heard anything i attempted to call and check on the status. Using the automated system the response i received was that there was no active order. I then called and tried to speak with a live person and was placed on hold for upward of 40 minutes. Only to hang up and try calling again to be placed on hold AGAIN! Customer service is HORRIBLE and i would not recommend this location to anyone. read more
