Excellent, well designed jewelry for the whole family. My wife purchased my wedding band here and today we purchase a medical ID chain that I need in life. The reason for the chain may be somewhat less than perfect - but the love of the one who bought it for me and the craftsmanship of the jeweler make it such that it will always be great to wear and helpful should a medical professional ever need the information engraved on the medallion. Came in today to add a charm to my bracelet the lady named Helen was not friendly and her energy throughout the whole interaction was not welcoming or inviting, usually when I go I'm always met with smiling faces and helped out about placement and suggestions on where the charm would fit best instead I was rudely told to put the charm on the bracelet.This was not the friendly service I'm used to when I come but unfortunately it will be the last time I go to this location. read more

Second time shopping at this location. Employees have been very helpful. Went to get a couple rings and needed two different sizes. They looked in the system and called a nearby locations to confirm they had them and had the other store hold them. They also offered to ship them but it was going to take up to a couple weeks. This location had one style we were interested in so we bought them and went to Northeast Mall where they had the other style in the sizes we needed. Exchanging the style we didn't want was easy. I love they are faith-based on many of their styles and their website has the meanings behind many of the pieces. If you know exactly what you want call one of the stores and check your size if needed and have them tell you where you can get them. read more

I was just in the Arlington store to purchase several charms and a bracelet for my daughter's birthday. I am older, and needed to use the restroom. There were no other customers in the store. I was told they had no public restrooms and the nearest one was pretty far away. I said OK I have to go find a restroom. I literally went next-door, used the restroom, and came back to the James Avery store. When I got back there were still no other customers. I told one of the 4 sales associates I would not be spending the nearly $300 for the items I had selected. I made this decision only because I was not allowed to use the restroom. I took my business to a Pandora store. I will be purchasing many more charms for holidays in the future as my daughter is just turning 16. I can understand not having a public restroom but to send paying customers away from an empty store is just bad business. read more

I'm not impressed by this store. It's a beautiful store but the employee I encountered was pushy, rude and argumentative. I agree with the other review, the sales people should understand the products they sell. I hated walking around the store as the sales woman leaned against the desk staring me down. I had every intention on buying the new Vintage Charm Slider necklace worth well over $200, but what stopped me was the non-verbal, negative behavior of James Avery staff! I waited in line here for about 20 minutes to pick up a charm bracelet, thinking I could be met by an employee, take my paid-for item and leave. There were two employees at the front desk, one looked like she was helping a family and the other was helping a woman in the front. It appeared the woman was just going through trays of jewelry, looking and trying on with the help of the employee. The simple solution seems like having the woman look through the Jewelry while helping the next customer, but apparently not- what should've been a 5 minute stop turned into waiting for 20 minutes and leaving, with no bracelet, because the faculty didn't think to help the people in line in a more efficient manner. I've always loved James Avery and have a number of pieces, and so, I had to visit this store while I was in town from school. Unlike the unfortunate faux pas experienced by another yelper, my experience there was the epitome of wonderful customer service, as the employees of James Avery always have been- in my own personal experience. I came in looking to purchase rings and to look at a future mother's day present with my sister. She actually told me my bracelet was junk. I was mortified at how poorly I was treated. I took my business to the Southlake store where I was treated amazingly well.
