I have had nothing but horrible service and experiences with every purchase I've made-except buying an LG tv. Bought 2 iPhone 15 Pros. Told them don't activate 1. They activated it, cut of my husband's iPhone 12, and he had NO cell service for days! Left on trip with no fone/gps and that included 3 HOURS on fone with ATT! They couldn't get it squared away! Spent hours and multiple trips to ATT to unscrew the mess BestBuy EXPERTS caused. Next was Geek Squad agent of 4 years screwed up my new IWatch 9. Had to go to ATT to get it fixed! The latest is I bought a top of line Bosch dishwasher August 25. Came to install it today (November 8th!!!) It is defective. Inoperable. Now scheduled for December 13th!! Honestly they don't know what they're doing at the Charleston store! 1 girl said my Lavender IPhone 12 had no trade in value! Of course I got $830 for it. The girl just didn't know what she was doing! The IPhone screwup was the worst. Days of inconvenience because even their "managers" are incompetent! Only reason I've been buying from them? On our road trip back to the Westside of the country we stopped in Best Buy to pick up the Go Pro video camera to video log our trip!!!! Well lets just say I also bought a Laptop too!!! From the minute we stepped in to the store, the associates where quick to help!!! The store was incredibly laid out, organized and clean!!! This was not your typical Best Buy store you would see in California or Virginia... Where items are all over the place or you spend 20 minutes looking for some to help... No this place was the Mecca of all Best Buy Locations!!!!!!! The staff were dressed nice, polite, and actually could answer questions about the products they were showing you.... Cudos to the Store Manager!!!!! If all Best Buy stores could look & operate with the Standards applied at this location Share holders would be in Hevean because profits would be through the roof!!!!! I purchased 2-55" 4K smart TVs. They cost 389.99 a piece. I had an employee to pick them up because I am disabled. My staff member came straight back and brought them into my office. It took me about 10 days to receive the wall mounts and another week or so, to get someone to put up on the wall. He installed both wall mounts and tvs. One of the tvs only showed some lines in the top right corner and some light shining through the corner. It was shot. They sold me a busted TV. At the time, I thought, that will be okay. Best buy is big company, they are good company. They will let me switch it out. When I reached out to return it, they refused. They told me that I had to use the manufacturers warrant to get it replaced They said that they only exchange within 15 days of purchase. We was on 21 days at this time. Most stores exchange within 30 days. Most stores will exchange in any day, if you have the receipt. I have a long chat transcript where I tried to get help from support at BestBuy. I left fiilling patronized. I sent the transcript to the CEO and the director of customer Service. Both of them ignored my messages. read more

Do not buy here! I've had numerous issues over several years. I got a PS4 COD WW2 for Christmas. It quit working completely. So...earlier today I asked a salesman at this store about the situation. He told me to bring it back and they will replace it. All good so far. I brought the machine and game back in the evening. At first they were not gonna do a thing. Then JR decided to swap me a new machine but not the game. I just wanted to be given the same things I purchased at Christmas time. He refused to give me the game or to give me a game. I don't ever post reviews, but I'm too mad not to share! Do not by appliances at Best Buy. We bought a washer and dryer and they were supposed to be delivered today. When I called them (after an hour and 1/2 on phone and speaking with 5 different people ) they said they were not going to be delivered. They also informed me that the washer and dryer had not even left the distribution center yet! I bought this particular color because it could be delivered fast. I would probably say without a doubt that this was the worst Best Buy location I have ever been to. The greeter was not even in his regular spot and when my group of 4 entered the business. He was busy talking to his coworkers that were huddled near the windows tablets and did not even acknowledge us. We continued to look through the store and not a single employee approached or greeted us, let alone even look at us. There was only one cashier up front and she was busy texting on her phone and bunch of groups of employees just talking to each other. It was so irritating to see so many employees available; however, so busy mingling with each other and not assisting any customers. I will not be doing anymore business at this store, manager JR is very unprofessional and doesn't try to accomodate you for items that you buy there , we brought an 65 inch Samsung TV,went to pick up from store,got home took out box, it was damaged, couldn't return the same day, due to the store was closed, went back the next day, tried calling while we were traveling couldn't get in contact with anyone. Arrived at the store begin to tell the service clerk the situation, she stated she would get the manager and another manager can out ,explained to him and he stated he had to talk to the other manager JR, he eventually came out they inspected the TV and then he walks over to my husband and says we can't give you a discount and I guess I have to eat this TV , like it was our fault,my husband immediately said you can look at where the TV was damaged that it was from the manufacturer company and the box was in perfect shape, they loaded another TV and my husband got angry because what JR the manager said to him and he immediately told them to come back and get the TV and we wanted our money back, and if we haven't live so far I would have returned the TV stand as well, left the store feeling very disappointed and angry, because we were accused of something that we didn't do read more

if you live in the charleston area do not go to this store, buy online from best buy, a good company with at least one bad apple! i purchased thousands of dollars in computer equipment for my office on march 17 2013 at the charleston wv best buy store, only to find out from the "salesman" at this store that my malfunctioning main computer (server) for medical records is not covered by the protection plan i purchased. because the salesman ordered it online at the time of this complicated sell, the protection plan i purchased did not cover HIS order. of course now they are telling me that they informed me of this at the time of the purchase (no documentation of this by them}. No they failed to tell me this while i had 5 salesmen around me pushing me to purchase more items rather than assisting me thru the maze of "protection plans." now the computer browser will not work and they are informing me i have no protection plan and must deal with the manufacture. this is my main computer required for medical care of my patients. i needed it replaced today since patient care had been interrupted and i could not access their medical information. they offered their geek squad however microsoft had worked on the problem for 10 hours the night before and they wanted me to have their folks to look at the computer, the same folks that could not tell me if they could give me documentation that they had removed protected medical information from the computer if i were to return it. i entered this store at 4pm with this issue and 5 min before closing, 4 hours later they told me they would not honor their sale of this obvious lemon. they said they were working on the issue that entire time while i watched them wait on other customers. buy the way, as i watched and waited the 4 hours they told multiple poor rural customers the same song and dance as they brought in returned items requesting that that their purchased item be covered by their so called protection plan they had purchased. i am comfortable with buying online however this computer is critical for my medical practice so I wanted to purchase it from a local store that would stand by their sell. read more
