We are seniors and new technology is not something that comes easy to us. We are getting new phones, actually going from a Samsung ro Apple. Now we find out that our pictures will not be able to be transfered. Off to Best Buy to look into a photo stick. The first young man we encountered knew NOTHING about how they work. Now that makes three of us. He goes off to find someone that can help. Next young man is only a fraction better by telling us that you put the photo stick in the port, tap on the photo you want to save. How to retrieve them was a mystery. We decided to buy two photo sticks thinking maybe we could figure it out but I wanted to look at tablets first. Again,we are not knowledgeable so we asked ( still the second young man) how tablets work. We would be better off asking the grandkids but the employees at Best Buy are either not knowledgeable or just can't be bothered since it is a no commission job. So we get home with two photo sticks. Step1. Put photo stick into phone, tap picture....is something suppose to let us know it was successful? Step 2. There is no port on our computer to put this thing. Everytime we go to Best Buy the employees are all the same, completely useless. Step 1. Put photo stick in the phone. Step 2. Tap on photo, is something suppose to tell us this was successful? Step 3. Try to insert photo stick into the computer but computer has no opening for this gadget. read more

I ordered a dishwasher in mid November and had it scheduled for delivery at the end of November. They rescheduled my appointment for 12/5/25. Today is 12/4 and I'm just now getting a phone call to let me know that they don't have the inventory yet to deliver to me. It has literally been over a month and I had to take the day off of work to make sure someone was home between your 12 hour delivery window- and you cancel on me the day before?? POOR SERVICE. The store is always well-organized, they have everything I need in stock, and if I need help someone is always there to assist me. Bought a stove a few weeks ago. Told the salesman we did not want installation as my husband would do it and it cost $30. We were dumb and didn't look at receipt and were charged for it. They lied about me getting an email as to when the stove would be delivered. Missed a day of work and delivery showed up at 5 p.m. Delivery guys were awesome. No complaints with them. I was told I would get an email receipt and survey but never received. I guess that's just how Corporate America works. All about the money and no care for the customer. I've been coming to this Best Buy for quite some time now. The reason for my rating is because sometimes I have good experience and sometimes I have bad experience. It's pretty inconsistent because you never know if the person helping you is either having a bad day, a good day, or just plain lazy. The one good thing about this particular store is the fact that it's fairly huge! You can get your TV, DVD players, games, game consoles, movies, dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, juicers, blenders, car stereos, etc! It's like a one stop shop! For the first time since I've been traveling for work (about 11 years), I found that I had left home without packing the AC power adapter for my MacBook Pro. I was sitting in the lobby bar of the Marriott Downtown at Key Center in Cleveland, OH - and I noticed my battery indictor was getting really low. So I ventured back to the room to snag my power adapter - and that is when I discovered I had left it at home! So I went online to see what the closest places were to buy a new one - Apple Stores or Best Buy? Turns out the closest place was a Best Buy down near Parma. It was about a 15 minute drive from the hotel after the evening rush hour - so no problem getting there. This Best Buy has a fairly well stocked Apple section - I double checked to make sure I had the right version of the power adapter (MagSafe 2), purchased it and was on my way! They are lying to you. *5 Hours Later* Still haven't heard from them so we go back to the installation desk and they say that "Actually, Ford Focuses take about 4. Bought airpod pros 11/29. Went to return today 11/30 as they weren't working so I went in to get them exchanged. Basically treated like a shit scam artist because I asked for an exchange and turns out there was an error regarding the serial numbers that most likely happened manufacture side. I'm not upset that it couldn't be exchanged because thankfully Apple themselves were happy to help and exchange it the error product themselves at their store. I'm upset that there was no problem solving done other than looking at serial numbers and saying "no can't do anything". Tell the customer to contact Apple directly because customer policy indicates that the object in question doesn't qualify for exchange due to the error, and the lack of visual for opening the object leaves the legitimacy up in the air, in large part due to said error. Don't just brush them off and treat them like they're trying to scam and get free product. Your General Manager sucks. Get a different one. read more

The associate at best buy was patient with my 72 year old grandfather. He goes to this store every month and purchases a prepaid card for his cellular service. The associates typically understand the plight of a baby boomer when faced with technology. When you get associates like this that go out of their way to help someone who doesn't understand what to do get what they need done, it's refreshing. I know the team isn't "supposed to" help him, but almost every time he goes, someone is willing to help him with that prepaid card. read more

I'm here prob a bit more than I should be and spend quite a bit more than I should. The staff is always friendly when you check out. The store is pretty spacious compared to the smaller BestBuys they are building now a days. Make sure you join the rewards program and leave feedback via email when they prompt you to earn points for gift certificates as well. They also buy used video games or you can trade them in. They have a rewards/perks program if you pre order certain games. Overall a solid store and I keep coming back. read more

It's been years since my last terrible experience at this store and I have avoided it in the interim. Today they've done it again. I wanted to update my car stereo. Against my better judgement I came in 11 days ago bought a unit and was told I needed a few installation bits. I was also told that all of that was included in the bill after my first visit. I even got an email telling me my parts had arrived. I arrive 10 minutes early for my scheduled install and they told me they didn't actually order all the parts I needed. I had to go out and around to the front door and demand a refund for the inept clerk to look into the situation. The genius that sold me the radio didn't bother to order the parts he told me he did. Today they managed to round up the parts, but only just. And they took my car into the install bay more than an HOUR after my scheduled time because of all the nonsense. They are so epically inept. You would think since online retail is crushing them they would REALLY focus on customer service, but they dont. They are utterly inept. Go someplace else. Get you parts online and do it yourself for cheaper. Do anything to avoid this garbage store. All that misery aside the installer was excellent at his job and really worked to make the install perfect which is tricky on my weird car. Too bad his coworkers are a incompetent. read more

I go to Best Buy for only a handful of reasons: - Nintendo 3DS Mii StreetPass friends - Home theater purchases (but my boyfriend helps me research what I'm looking for on my own, so when we get there I already know what I want) - Blu-rays I would never walk into a Best Buy looking for super-service or lots of knowledgeable help with anything, honestly. But where this location shines is it's movie department, specifically their selection of blu-ray and 3D movies! On the west side of NE Ohio, I haven't found a Best Buy location that competes, honestly. Plus, I'm not sure if each location gets to pick which movies they can have killer deals on, but they also have so.many.cheap.options, usually around $9.99 and under. Weeeee! Additionally, I haven't seen a better 3D movie collection in a more organized fashion. Kudos, BB Parma. As far as other purchases, I did get my big, Vizio smart-TV from here, but again, my boyfriend helped me with all the research. Mostly they just helped me get it out to his car. Ha. We also scoped reviews and deals online before we saw it here for the cheapest. I would suggest doing the same. Oh! And I always leave with at least 7-8 new Mii StreetPass friends, for those of you who also geek out on Nintendo 3DS things. read more

Absolutely atrocious customer service when trying to buy a Mac online and pick it up at this store. The online ordering process is a disaster, the pick up process is even worse. Got an email saying my order was ready to pick up and to go to the store, but it had zero instructions on what to do or where to go when I went to the store. I've been in contact with someone who had Covid so I could not walk in the store, there is nothing marked for curbside pick up. Called the store, got a ringing phone that no one answers, gave up after 37 rings. Called the 800 number, first was told "we don't have anything to do with stores" (if you don't, who does?), then later was told that I should just pull up to the store entrance and "hope someone noticed" me. I did that, an employee walked out of the store and yelled at me for parking in the fire lane. When I told him I was there to pick up an item he ordered me to park in the main lot and angrily said "someone will bring it out to you at some point." About 15 minutes later a guy walked out, threw it at me and walked away. Called the store again, trying to reach a manager, got a ringing phone for 21 minutes straight. Two weeks later the process had left such a bad taste in my mouth I returned the computer. I will never give Best Buy a dollar of my money ever again. read more

I have been trying to purchase an ipad from Best buy for about a week. The store closest to me is out of stock of the one I want to purchase. A best buy store about two hours away had one in stock of the one I wanted. I called the store and they were very unhelpful with telling me information, and the wait times were terrible. I eventually chatted with them through text messages, I wanted to know if they could ship the ipad to the Best Buy store that was near or, or mail it directly to my house. They would not do either one of these. I am a full time college student and am unable to drive and get it. I am very disappointed they would not ship this product to the store near me. read more

I was surprised to have actually had a decent experience at Best Buy. I went there to get a new iphone. The line was short and the staff who helped me with my phone was efficient and friendly. We were in and out within 30 minutes. My only complaint is that another staff was complaining about her job in front of us while we were getting our phone. I found this to be unprofessional and I've had so many iffy experiences with this place so it doesn't make me want to go back unless I absolutely have to. I will add that I bought a new appliance over the summer from this Best Buy location and they gave me a great deal. However, I was supposed to get 10% back in rewards and accessing those rewards was challenging and required making multiple phone calls to their customer service line. Overall, I'll go back if I must, but definitely not if I can buy the same thing online. read more
