Best Buy on the third floor of American Dream; nice and new location and inventory of items still enough on the shelves, but still rather barebone inside with only small electronics and some random items like exercise equipment. Have no idea how they turn enough profit to be in the mall. Even the Apple display upfront - when there's an Apple Store in the mall... well, I hope they make enough to stay open. I don't know that folks would lug their computers to the mall to fix, but there's a service stop at the back. No appliances or home delivery items, no easy way to get larger items like TVs to your car... so yeah probably better with no appliances. read more

The workers at this store are operating at 2% brain capacity. Everyone from the cashiers in perpetual training, to the 'experience supervisor,' to the manager--no customer service etiquette, no functioning neurons. I had a pre-order for a phone with a trade-in processed and ready for pickup. I arrived on time and they brought the phone out from the back. They gave me the runaround for an hour with both my current phone and the new phone in the box with my name on it, behind the counter. They refused to "release" the phone to me because they claimed their system would not allow them to process the trade in. The manager's brilliant proposition was to cancel my order and re-order it. Except, in her words, the unit earmarked for me would be "burned" and could not be sold to me, and they had no other phones in the store. They "called" their back office and were effectively told "yeah sorry he's **** out of luck." That's because that team is functioning at 1% brain capacity. Other Best Buy locations had similar issues and they processed trade-ins manually, rang up the phones at full cost, and applied a gift card to offset the problem. These people could not think that far because again, how can you, when you do not have 98% of your brain's propensity for cognitive function available to use? They had me waiting with absolutely no resolution to offer. Best Buy will not see another dime from me or from the half-dozen people I know personally who were "burned" today by their complete, utter incompetence. This Best Buy is the Island of Misfit Toys personified. Just appalling. read more

Thank you Emily! Just got home and had to write this review. I had an issue where I lost my receipt for a computer that I purchased at this location as a Christmas gift. Emily who was working at the customer service desk was extremely helpful. She managed to track down my purchase and get me a copy of the receipt. I know that if I had attached the purchase to my BB account I would have had a record of the receipt but I was buying for my wife and did not want her to see the purchase. Thank you again!!! After a week of trying to get an appliance delivered and one excuse after another - I gave up. First time - they needed more guys. Second time they just didn't show up and said they did. Today they came and said they were't told we had stairs. I called first thing this morning. I called twice this afternoon. I talked to everyone including dispatch and told them all the same details and was assured delivery. Best Buy took the money, they took the address and they don't deliver. And every time I tell someone the story they tell me I am not the first to have a bad experience. So be warned! They are not even the best price! read more

I purchased a gas dryer at BestBuy on 6/16/21 and scheduled its installation, to disastrous results. BestBuy outsources its appliance delivery/installation to a third-party company, which did a terrible job, necessitating three appointments, due to installer incompetence and carelessness. The initial installer spoke little English, broke my gas shutoff valve, and proceeded to attach my dangerously clogged vent duct to the dryer (a clear safety violation), until I objected. He, then, attached a new vent duct incorrectly, leaving off both elbows. Finally, he neglected to bring the dryer legs and the new gas hose. He attached the old gas hose to the dryer, despite the broken gas shutoff valve -- two additional safety violations. After this disastrous experience, I needed two more appointments to finally have the dryer fully and correctly installed. The three appointments (each with a 6-hour window) and the numerous phone calls to BestBuy customer care, Delivery/Installation support, Large Product Fulfillment Resolution (LPFR) and, finally, Geek Squad customer care, wasted hours of my time. As for the broken gas shutoff valve, a BestBuy customer care rep filed a property damage claim for me and advised me to wait for a response, before having the valve replaced. However, the second installer (who also neglected to bring the new gas line) told me that, because of the broken gas shutoff valve, he was not able to tell if the gas was on or off, which was an unsafe situation. Therefore, I went ahead and had a plumber replace the valve that very day. You don't fool around with possible gas leaks!!! I subsequently was contacted by the insurance company that handles the damage claims and was told that I would need a photo of the damage, something no one at BestBuy told me, despite my numerous phone calls to them. At the time of the repair, I had no means of taking a photo and did not know it was necessary. This communication lapse could prevent me from getting compensation for the property damage. You can be sure that I will never purchase an appliance at BestBuy again. Jean N. read more
