    I came for the Switch 2 "midnight" release and it was absolutely psychotic. I don't care how much money Kevin currently makes, he deserves a raise and a month long vacation after this madness. The crowd didn't pass the vibe check at all but Kevin still pressed through with his enthusiasm and made the 4 hr wait less unbearable. He had so much to do and yet, he still let the mass know that if anyone has any questions at all, to ask. It was such a breath of fresh air being in his company because he really was so genuinely nice and kept trying to hype up the crowd. I'd be so over it in the first 5 minutes if I had to work this launch. I heard so many side comments from people saying how shocked they were with his effort and enthusiasm. I don't even want to know how long it took to clear the line of hundreds of people. We were 12th in line and it already took 38 minutes (after opening) for us to get our order. At that rate... well, you can do the math. So grateful for him and this team for all of the endless work they had to do while hundreds of useless people just all stood around and watched ;)

    We picked out the washer/dryer they had on sale from their website, so we went straight to the appliance area (back of store). William greeted us and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable about the different parts we'll need to include, how to get those "for free", and what was included (installation included, removal of old unit not included). The transaction was quick and easy.

    Confirming that even live agent said I could stop by bestbuy and get my replacement

    Very bad I was their today to get a replacement remote for my tv because over the phone they had told me to just stop by any store and under the protection plan they would be able to start the replacement . I enter store ask a team member what I was their for and he said that replacement had to be done over the phone or by the app at these point just don't purchase the protection plan it's just a scam and they make it so difficult to get anything

    I hadn't been to this Best Buy in years, especially during the pandemic. Wow, it is completely overhauled. They remodeled it, less aisles, more like a showcase room. Apparently, they remodeled at least one and a half years ago, according to the clerk helping me with my pickup. They've become more of an online order and fulfillment warehouse, moreso. I was hoping to one up and down the aisles and look at all they had to offer. Now, those days are gone for this store, at least. Friendly and welcoming staff all around, which hasn't changed.

    I accidentally spilled coffee on my MacBook keyboard and brought it to Ray right away. The repair…read morewas a bit pricey, but completely understandable given the amount of work involved. He had to remove the keyboard components and thoroughly clean the inside of my laptop. Thankfully, he was able to fix my MacBook. Ray was also incredibly helpful in explaining how to properly back up my data and what steps to take if something like this happens again. He even helped me back up my MacBook to iCloud. If you ever spill liquid on your device, shut it down immediately and bring it to Ray. He saved me from having to buy a new laptop!

    My computer crashed the other night right around 5:30 pm so I got on the old interweb and found…read morethat TechCare was open until 6pm. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.

    Reviewing the GSS side of the business…read more I work for a company that serves as their global distribution center. I have dealt w/ the folks from the GSS side (operations, buyers, planners, escalations, customer service, logistics, engineers, etc.); they're great and caring people. They coach me. They give me advices. They donate to help my cause (not work-related). They lecture me because of my choices (lack of sleep). They genuinely care and will help me learn to be a better and more valuable asset to the company. I can text them, I can call them, I can email them.. I certainly have no filter when I talk to them. They appreciate honesty, hard work, and getting the job done (like all employers, I am sure) but the culture and environment here is surreal. I love what I do. I love my company. I love my customer. This review is for the…read morecafeteria at the Milpitas campus, not for the company as a whole (although I hear some of the semiconductor metrology products are quite tasty). They had pizza, a grill, mexican, and asian counters. They also had a salad bar that was decent. I had the pizza, which was OK and a salad. I assume that if I worked here I would get the salad every day and would be sick of it in two weeks. Prices were low. This place is only open to employees and their guests, so you will have to get a job if you want to eat here. Worth it? Perhaps.
