Purchased a MacBook online to pick up the same day as it said. I was waiting for the email to pick it up for 3 days just for them to cancel it. I called the next day after purchase to see what was going on, the lady said they were waiting on my bank. I called my bank and they said they approved it on the spot. Called best buy back and they told me they don't know what's going and it's their system. Got ahold of the manager the next day and he told me that he was going to escalate the situation and make sure I got the macbook. I have always purchased all my appliances at Best Buy. They always help me with free installation. I bought a refrigerator for my mother at Best Buy. The product page of this refrigerator at Best Buy also shows free delivery and free installation. But this time, two delivery workers refused to install it for my mother. Putting this on notice because one of their employees, Kamala (short haired Indian lady) decided to commit fraud and blatantly lied to my face after I explicitly said NO to a credit card, then proceeded to immediately deny after I repeatedly questioned her. My fiancee was with me as well, we were purchasing a washer with intention to only use the lease program to payoff within 3 months. If I knew she was going to commit fraud, I would've just bought it in cash. But during this process, I was reviewing the card reader POS prompt and recognized what I thought was the credit card application. She blatantly stated it was solely for the "Progressive lease loan" and that it "will have no effect" on my credit, nor will I be "receiving a credit card". Crazy enough, I get an email on Friday at work in the middle of the night stating I have a credit card. I called that morning, and played phone tag with horrible customer service. They stated they filed a claim for fraud and deactivated my account. Yet I have received no further information regarding this closure, and I keep receiving emails about having credit availability. Also what pissed me off even more, I received the physical card today. I can't even call the actual store and file a complaint to the store manager because they apparently can't take direct calls. In short I bought a gift for my nephew on door dash and when I went to return the item they were going to refund it to the original credit card from door dash, not the original card I used to pay door dash. I was asking questions to try and understand how I got my actual refund back and they were useless. Funny I thought it was just one bad customer service experience but it's ongoing at this location! JOSE WAS HORRIBLE. I came in specifically for a camera and knew which one I wanted and found it myself. Was never greeted once. I seen a worker passing by so I reached out to him myself and asked if they price matched and he just said yeah & took off. No hi can I help you nothing. Me and my significant other came to this store to look for a iPhone case for his new IPhone. While we were looking and worker came by asking if we need any help and we responded with no thank you. After 2 minutes, same worker came by and told us we can't open the cases and that we need to purchase first. We understood and put the case back and stopped opening the cases, remind you we had only opened two cases and put them back nicely. Not even 5 minutes, the manager came up to us. She was short, Latina women, glasses, black hair, tan AND she was sitting at the front. She came up to us with A LOT of attitude and told us to stop opening cases and that we needed to buy them first, REMIND you we had just been told and we didn't open ANYMORE cases. We got up and left and told the manager we were unaware that we couldn't open the cases but I've lived in Natomas MY WHOLE LIFE and been told that Best Buy and nobody ever told me I couldn't open the boxes. While we were walking out we were about to go through entrance on accident and she was yelling and giving attitude saying "that's the entrance not the exit". On Friday 4/3/2026 at noon, I was scheduled with apple to get my phone fixed. The screen shut off and the phone was inactive. When I made the appointment apple has you make all the notes. So I walk up to the geek squad booth, there's a man doing absolutely nothing not even looking at his computer sitting there visibly bored and my wife and I walked up. I'm usually the person that waits a little behind not demanding and walk straight up for the worker (Brandon) to finish what they need to do. Apparently that was the wrong choice. He slumps in his chair seems to ignore us more so I walk up and tell him that I'm here for an appointment to fix my phone. He rudely leans back in his chair gives the dirtiest look ever and says okay. Then it's awkwardly silent. He then rolls his eyes after 10 seconds of silence and rudely spits out, "what's wrong with it?" And I tell him. I also explain that I'm not sure if he can see it in the appointment I made but I had everything explained in there as well. He doesn't even look at his computer and says. "Okay." Like a batter teenager to their mom. Rolled his eyes and everything. I almost walked out right then and there because I have worked in tons of different customer service jobs and never treated someone like this even when being yelled at. So then he said rudely again "what are you trying to do with the phone?" And I said well I have apple care and was expecting to get it fixed or swapped or whatever I made this app- I get cut off and he rolls back in his chair like he's the godfather and says so snippy and demeaning, "you know that's not going to be done today. I have to send this information off to-" I turned around and walked out. My wife and I were flabbergasted at the way this man who WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING was acting like I was the world's biggest inconvenience. I have never felt with anyone that rude before in my life. I then called customer service to speak with their manager and told the manager would call me back. Not to be a Karen, but as someone who's managed multiple customer service jobs someone like this needs to be retrained, written up or let go. We normally shop at the Best Buy in Elk Grove because it's close to my house. However, the Elk Grove location closed up their car stereo installation center and limited their selections drastically! The Elk Grove store is where I had my car stereo put in and I couldn't be happier! This time my BF wanted to put a new one in his vehicle, but we were referred to the Natomas Best Buy instead. That means we have to take 4 different freeways in heavy traffic to get there! Anyway, Joe K traveled to Natomas to check out their selections and decided on the perfect system for his truck. The order was placed and an installation appointment was made after a few weeks of waiting. When the day arrived, we took the excursion back to Natomas Best Buy where we waited ~1 1/2 hours to have it installed. Boris was the head technician who did the work. And now Joe K couldn't be happier! I was wondering if all the other Best Buys were sending stereo installations to one location because Boris seemed to be very busy and working hard at his craft. Anyway, so far so good! We are enjoying our new car toys immensely! Best Buy is indeed the best place to have a car stereo installed! We checked 3 other specialty shops and they were outrageously priced! Our long trip was so worth it! read more

Giving this store one star because the customer service sucks and the workers are miserable. I bought a TV that I thought would fit in my car but ended up being a little too big. One of the workers came out to tell me they would be flagging my account stating I can't return the TV because of the way I was trying to fit it into my car. Fine with me. But then they wouldn't even hold the tv inside the store so that I could come back with a bigger car. I then tried to ask if I could wait inside the store with the TV while I wait for my friend with a bigger car to arrive. I didn't want to stand outside in the parking lot with a 60" TV. They wouldn't even let me wait inside the store, I had to wait in the area between the two sliding doors. The worker asked if my ride would be there within 10 minutes because their store was closing but we had this conversation at 7:40 and their hours state their store closes at 8. At that moment I asked to talk to another manager first she refused then another guy showed up who started off " We will not return this speaker" he also have the nerves to tell me that " It is not our job to open and repack the contents when I asked him why his associate insisted upon opening the package without my presance they replied that she was "uncomfortable" opening in my presence. I asked him to gime me his card so I can complain against him, he gave me another female manager's card he also refused to give me information of the asociate who ws dealing before his arrival. I purchased a laptop 4 days ago and was trying to return today to get a different laptop. I was told the laptop would not be accepted unless it is factory reset. I let the employees know that I tried resetting the laptop but there is an error preventing that. They referred me to their geek squad section, who said it would cost over $100 to fix. I am not sure why I would be charged for a malfunction that I did not cause. They offered no other solution than for me to pay geek squad to fix it.
