We needed a washer and dryer. I was very nervous about making the purchase because my spouse and I have not purchased a washer and dryer before. Also, the prior experience we had with having appliances delivered and installed was with a "big box" store, and it was so horrible that I was super anxious about delivery and installation in particular. Therefore, we were specifically looking for a local place to do business with and not a big box store. So glad we came here! The gentleman in the store was knowledgeable about the products, which were well-priced. Delivery and installation were also reasonably priced. The gentlemen who did the delivery and installation were thorough and professional. They had to remove the old appliances and take them downstairs and the new appliances upstairs. They were careful and well-equipped, and had no problems with this. They also checked to make sure there were no leaks from the washer and that the dryer was working. They also made sure we were aware of certain settings on the appliances. Certainly a complete difference from what we experienced with the big box store. We bought an open box/damaged refrigerator on May 03, 2020. When we received the refrigerator, we noticed more blemishes and damages than what we observed while inside the warehouse. I spoke with Fabian and told him about the condition of the refrigerator. Fabian compensated by replacing one of the damaged door panels and replaced a broken shelf at no cost. I'm so elated and happy I made the right decision purchasing the LG washer and dryer from Julius' Sewing and Appliances! Dan stated he'll contact LG regarding the extended manufacturer's warrenty, July 10, 2017 because I want a five-year extended warrenty for both washer and dryer. They say to not judge a book by its cover. That concept applies here spot on. No fancy show room or lights or displays, you walk into the building and see the receptionist, tell her what you are there to see and she takes you straight to it. Nothing fancy but they do have a great selection of appliances. We recently bought our refrigerator and stove from this place. The girl at the front desk was super helpful with our questions. She wasn't following us as to pressuring us into a sale, we opened refrigerators, we looked, we asked questions, took time to make comparisons and measured. We had two small children with us so they were a bit impatient but we knew we were purchasing something so we took our time. We came in strictly for a fridge and we ended up getting an $1100 stove in addition to the fridge. The delivery had a bit of comical spin, they delivered our fridge but not the stove. The delivery crew told me they forgot if. However they came back within 1hr with the forgotten item. I wasn't ticked or anything. Was it a bit inconvenient? Yeah. But shit happens in life and it's not as if we had to wait a week to get our stove. However it was funny when I pulled in and I only see the fridge and not stove. Installation and delivery crew were nice, solid workers. We saved about $200 -$300 dollars on the stove. We are happy, but on the fridge we saved a ton, around 700-800 bucks. I am comparing these savings to the big box store sale prices. Retail savings are much bigger. We got our fridge for $1100 and the sale price at HOme Depot is $1899, sale price. Some of these are brand new just slightly blemished units at a good prices when our fridge went down we thought we'd have to spend over $3000 to get one that fit and had features we wanted. The warehouse is bigger than I imagined. We were able to find a great set of oversized front loading washer and dryer with their pedastals ( more importantly save some money ) . When we went they had a huge selection of standard depth refrigerators but only one row of counter depth, so Unfortunately we weren't able to find a refrigerator because our space had very specific measurements. Most of there items look perfect, I couldn't even find the flaw, there were few had some " dings " but nothing overly dramatic .. Overall totally recommend you give them a try. read more

The reviews made me wary BUT I am so grateful I gave this place a go. Family owned, huge warehouse, quick and easy. We got a whirlpool fridge for half the price that is at Best Buy/Lowes etc... YES IT HAD A DING IN IT, but we put a magnet over it. A ding got us 1600 bucks off the price... the fridge we got had never been plugged in. It works great 6 months later. We will definitely be back. The one issue we did have was the drawers in the fridge were pretty banged up - they gave us an extra but it was banged up too. When contacting Julius they never got back to us about it but we got such a screaming deal, I didn't expect them to do much - and still I give them 5 stars. Def take someone with you that knows how to load appliances because although they do a good job, it's good to have someone who knows what they are doing to assist. read more

Their prices from what it seems are usually because the models may be going out of date for the newer models or have some minor damage so they were rejected by dealers like Costco, Best Buy or whoever else. I was a little nervous at first, prices were way under what big box stores wanted but we finally pulled the trigger and bought a Kitchenaid refrigerator from Julius Sewing & Appliance. They even delivered the fridge to our home in Reno for a small charge which also included moving out our old fridge. Where I made a mistake was by not telling them the fridge that they needed to move was a Sub-Zero built in TANK! After talking about how it could be done they still moved the fridge with a little help from myself and our contractor. They could have easily said "sorry we can't handle a fridge that size" but they did everything they could to help, can't thank them all enough. THIS PLACE IS A SHAM! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! They sold me a fridge that was supposed to have a few dings in the exterior because it was a "floor model". That was a lie. The fridge started breaking down 32 days after purchasing and when I called to ask for service repair they told me it was past the 30 days on the return policy so there was nothing they could do. I called the manufacturer to see if they had a warranty left on this fridge and found out that the store lied to me! It was not the floor model at all!
