I've been going to this Best Buy for about 3-4 years now and it is, for the most part, a really good Best Buy. They sell good quality products, explain financing opportunities very well, have considerate operating hours, and have always worked with me on my returns or replacing rare but occasionally defective products. The only bad experience I've had at this Best Buy (4 over 5 stars) was with an iPad and a iPad Pencil that they sold me. The pencil wasn't compatible with the iPad I bought, and it really felt like, as a shopper, I wasn't technically guided right in my purchases. So, it's a great spot, just make sure you apply the due diligence in compatibility with your purchased and existing products as a consumer. read more

I went to Best Buy at the Strip twice in the same week. Both times I worked with Kaitlyn Brown and she was amazing! The touch on my iPhone X display screen would only work in certain places meaning I couldn't text or make calls. After telling me the price to fix the display screen on my old iPhone, I ordered a newer model. Kaitlyn told me that I would need to back up my old phone before transferring to the new. When it came, since I was unable to use my touch screen, I could not back it up. After searching the internet for an entire weekend and trying to figure it out, still with a touch screen that wasn't not working, I went back to the Geek Squad and explained my frustration. Kaitlyn was working again (yay!) She was kind and patient and it took some time for her to figure it out. She walked me through every step including helping me upgrade my storage through iCloud, which I had never used before. Again, she took me through step by step. When I left, half an hour later, my phone was backed up and everything had been transferred to my new phone. I cannot say enough about my service. Kaitlyn is wonderful! read more

Stopped by Best Buy to pick up a DSL modem for a local business that I support. I ordered the modem online about an hour before I arrived. When I arrived, I waited 5 minutes in the wrong line to be told to get into another line on the other side of the store. Upon waiting in the other line for 10 minutes, I finally got a guy to tell me my order had not been fulfilled yet. I offered to pick the items off the shelf myself and he concurred. I found the items and waited a couple more minutes to check out. When I arrived at the site to install the modem, the device did not work as expected. In fact, it took about 4 hours of tinkering and support calls to both AT&T and Netgear to find out that it had a firmware bug. A few hours later, we were able to do a firmware update and then the modem began working the next day, luckily. This was not a good experience, but the staff was nice at the store and they were the only store in Northeast Ohio, besides the almighty Microcenter, that had a new DSL modem in stock. read more

The young man,Nate, who worked with us was very knowledgeable, and patient. My hubby can take forever making a decision but Nate hung in there. Lots of selection, had some great sales. The one reason I did not give them 5 stars happened later. I tried to call the store 3 times over two days to simply leave a message with the Geek Squad. Each time I spent at least 15 minutes on hold, navigating a super infuriating recorded message and number punching. I finally got through to a person by pressing the button for "sales" She was kind enough to deliver a message to the Geeks who returned my call several hours later. Then we had to make an appointment to pick up the computer we bought! We're going in shortly to pick it up and the manager is going to get an ear full! read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I bought appliances in October knowing that I needed them now- I knew things were backed up due to the pandemic, so as I said, I planned ahead. The day of delivery the drivers refused to deliver three appliances stating that the weather made it "unsafe" and that "they did not have health insurance" what would happen if "they pulled a muscle". They were rude and when my husband and father in law offered to help them- they called their dispatch who called me and mocked me before hanging up on me. I have called and called Best Buy and received NO help in rescheduling my appliances for a date sooner than one week out. I have asked to talked to supervisors and no one will call me back. I have tried calling the store with NO luck- only a "please call back message" Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. I have ordered several appliances for Home Depot and had great customer service- kicking myself for not ordering from them. Best Buy is horrible- please do not order from them, save yourselves the frustration. read more

Best Buy is one of my favorite places to buy computers and accessories! They also sell mobile phones of many brands and sizes! Sotware, movies, games, etc. Are among their many products they sell as well. If they do have what you want they will explain why you should buy from them! Great service and very knowledgeable ( they have experts available). I talked to three each handing me to a more knowledgeable person! If I do not get an Experience expert I just go another day! They load extra sotware and setups as you desire either free or a smash fee! They have the GEEK SQUAD that come to your home or business for setting up or fixing computer problems! Great service! Free parking, great restaurants nearby, what more would like?! Big store with many TVs and other gadgets to check out too! Several people were helpful, but NATE R was the most helpful. One service they stopping doing was handing out pre-printed info for each computer you are considering. This saved writing down all the technical and specifications to help you remember which computer might fit your needs! This is an extremely valuable service they should reestablish! read more

I am giving Best Buy a poor review because they refused to install our new washer and dryer on top of our existing pedestals. The pedestals are in excellent shape. The sales associate who sold us the new washer and dryer told us that the delivery crew would place our new washer and dryer on top of the existing pedestals. The delivery crew refused to do this. ok first off let me just say I have never had a horrible service then I did with Best Buy "geek squad" back in September of this year a dryer my husband and I purchased 2 years ago had some issues I explain to the "service" tech what was going on he no joke was at my home for 5 min told me it was the motor that he wouldcome back in a few weeks to replace and or offered me about buying a new then he charged me 137$ and some change and left later when my husband got home he replyed with the guy didn'even take it a part to make sure that's what was wrong with it i told him nope mistake one. then we had a friend that worked on his dryer said he would come and take a look at it. hear when he took part of it apart they discoverer that it was a broken belt. And again these r 2 men that don't have any special traits in this field so we replaced the belt and the dryer was repaired. this being done ur service tex was going to charge me way more money for something the service guy did not even bothwr to open it up and check to make sure he was right w the right parts to be ordered again now this being said I've spent almost 3 months trying to get a refund we r on a fixed in come and we felt we should not pay for a service that was never done. Tried to buy a new flat screen tv and a 2 year plan for it. Your total cost to me was less than $900.00 delivered. Couldn't get to your checkout because I couldn't get thru all the BS you put potential customers thru to do the sale online. I'm handicapped and can't make it to the store to make the purchase. Right now I've been waiting for over 30 minutes for some kind of code you were supposed to e-mail me to do the purchase. This review for Best Buy in general . Everything is always a problem with Best Buy. I actually avoid coming to Best Buy. Protection plan is waste of time. 3 weeks to get a PC diagnosed is crazy Best Buy! They ship it to Kentucky via usps both ways that is why it takes 3 weeks if you are in Ohio , it is 6 weeks if you are in a state far away. Can't you get one repair shop per state Best Buy ? Crazy Stone Age turn around. 4 -7 days to extract data. When I asked what I am supposed to do without a PC for a month they suggested I buy another one and then return it ! But if something happens to that new one I have to keep it. Always feel like that don't care about customers . They charge ppl $7 to install protective screen because they lose money doing so since it is so hard to get it right with all the dust around. Best Buy is the place to go when you want some electronic device/movie/game/etc., and need instant gratification. Otherwise, you're almost guaranteed to find a lower price online. This particular Best Buy is well laid out and usually fairly busy. It's conveniently located on the strip which I like better than it's old location. read more

I've had their totaltech membership for 2 years. I've had best buy deliver and install multiple tvs, tv mounts, and a sound system and have never had a problem with any of those services. Until now..... Last week I purchased a fridge and an ice maker from their Canton location. I was told since I was a totaltech member that it would be delivered, installed, the old one hauled away and the ice maker installed one week later. When they showed up the first issue came up with my old fridge. The two technicians claimed that the screws were stripped on the doors of the fridge, making it impossible to get through the doorway. They made no effort whatsoever to overcome this. However they were able to install the new fridge, the problem came up with they realized neither one of them knew how to install an ice maker. They claimed best buy would be calling me in 30 minutes to reschedule. They never called, so I had to call the next day. I spent an hour on the phone trying to reschedule which I finally did. I was promised someone would come who knows how to install an ice maker. 15 minutes before they were arriving I received a phone call from the technicians apologizing because they didn't know why they were sent because they didn't know how to install an ice maker. I'm so frustrated at this point. At this point I decide to actually go back into the store. I met with one of the people in the appliance department and they were very understanding and apologetic. They rescheduled the delivery and put notes in that someone would be sent out who knows how to install an ice maker. Upon the third attempt the technicians again called me and said they didn't know how to install an ice maker, however they would finally haul the old fridge away, which they did. I was on the phone with best buy's support team for about 30 minutes, about 25 minutes of that was on hold. I was told the reason for the issue is because they literally don't have anyone who knows how to install an ice maker on their team. How is this possible???? Why would you lie to me when I bought the product and told me it could be installed. What a waste of money. I deserve my money back for the total tech membership. What a joke of a retail business. read more

Without an appt you will wait forever and just be ignored by staff. One person working. Waited for 45 minutes before I finally walked up to front desk and asked to speak to a manger. By this time there was 3 other people waiting that all had appoints. One gentleman without an appointment asked me how long I had been waiting and then turned around and left. Manager was able to retrieve my computer that had been dropped off to be repaired. And someone else showed up to help the long line of customers waiting. Process took one hour and 5 minutes. Best Buy is notorious...for their "Bait and Switch" exploits...I have friends who have victims of this before...I was a victim today. I saw a Samsung Steam Dryer on Sale for $499.99...wonderful price. I decided to call to see how many they had left in the warehouse for delivery. The young lady looked it up on the computer and said there were 2 left in the warehouse. I asked her if she could hold it She said they could not hold it...but she would print out the information with my name on it and give it to the sales people. I told her that I would be in very soon...but wanted to make sure that I could purchase that particular product. She called back a few minutes later...and said that they had none in stock...she was on the wrong computer when she looked it up. But if I come in; one of the salespersons will show me other steam dryers that I may like. I asked if they will be the same price or Samsung with all the options. All she could say is to come in and look. By her voice, when she called back...she was sweet and apologetic..and I could tell she was upset to call me back. She was wonderful...it was not her fault ... whatever she saw in the computer's inventory or that she had to call back. It is so typical of Best Buy. I would of been livid if I came into the store and was told that...because it is still advertised on line . Stay away from them unless you pay cash and take it your self. You are dead to them when you walk out of the store. The third party delivery people will bring you the wrong cords, connector and won't know how to hook up what they bring. Paying $69 is money down the drain!! When your order doesn't ship as promised you are faced with calling the store but no one has any motivation to answer the phone, so you call the Best Buy again but ask for delivery help, they can help but they have zero motivation or knowledge so they send you to the delivery people who lost your order and hang up or to the sales people who don't answer. Oh never ever add warranty to get the infamous geek squad. Wasted money!! No matter what you need it's not in your contract so they want $199.00 to fix your problem. If it doesn't break in factory Your screwed, no matter the problem it's not in the fine print and you have to deal with someone who will tell you there is a $99 fee.
