"You can bring it back in, if you'd like" To recap...this is the result of a mistake by one of your employees, and your response is that you will discount a stand that you have in stock (if I chose to purchase it), or it is my responsibility to wrap this tv back up (at 8:00 pm), and bring it back to your store for a refund...for your mistake. This place is a joke. I spent good money for stainless steel kitchen appliances. Stove, dishwasher, over the stove microwave & refrigerator. They outsource the company to install everything ( which they don't tell you, until you have a problem) the microwave was hooked up like a child did it. There was a cabinet right above it. There was already a plug-in already there. The install spliced into that plug-I'm and put in another one. Then the same guy put in the dishwasher. The installer said I needed a 3" pvc pipe to hook it up. The dishwasher started stinking soon after I used it. I tried to set up the leak on their app. She said I had to call. Being put on hold for 45 minutes. Then they dropped the call had to start over. The gentleman working from home, told me the appointment to fix the microwave. Not just to fix the hook-up, plus the lg microwave wasn't running right. Had to schedule that out. Which will almost be a month. Since they outsource the hook-up. They have to use the same company. My advice would be, if you need anything from appliances or anything else run alway from this joke of a company. The manager there needs to be fired. read more

Absolutely shoddy service. Called in mid-January to make an appointment for a remote starter service call, asking for a service date of Feb 11-13th (when I had off and could spend hours sitting in a waiting room). Was told they would not book an appointment that far out in advance and to call back the week of. Called last week and sat on hold for 40 minutes before finally giving up, totally fuming about the hold time. Tried a couple more times during the week, but never got through. Called back today ~ and after 2 disconnects and a 21 minute hold, have been told that they are booked up until Feb 23rd. No way can they service me this week ~ even though they refused to book the appointment several weeks ago. FYI - not trying to get the remote starter installed. Best Buy installed it already but it is not working properly ~ so just trying to get back in to figure out why it keeps cutting out. Bought a surround sound speaker it was a JBL early this year and on Monday while watching tv that morning the subwoofer caught fire and started smoking. My first thought was that I had left the tv on the day before for the dog, which I do sometimes. What if? Today I was at this best buy store,( 4251 Outer loop Louisville KY, 40219) just to get an upgrade for a laptop I bought there less than a year. I was sold to me by Hispanic customer service, he told me that in the period of the year guarantee I will be able to upgrade my laptop with any cost, so I decided to do it today, when explained to a customer service what I wanted to do he told me that it was impossible to do it because it was not included on the politics of the company, I told he that I was told by the customer service who sold to me the laptop that I was able to do it, and now I feel very disappointed and scammed because this inept customer service told me a lie. I asked to change with a new ram memory card, with higher capacity, and they have not the memory card as I was told. I told the manager that I was very upset because of this product which I bought under a condition that I believed was true and it is not, so I have to lose my money, the product and to have a very bad moment there, because the manager got angry without reason just because I said that his customer service is a lier, and deserves to use the laptop as a hat, The called security, and came to me two big guys very very out of mind with a higher degree of violence, I am a man with 65 years old, with a terminal desease, still working as a certified security officer with more than 50 state certifications on this job. One of this guys at the very entrance of the store threat me and told me that we was able to use physical force on me I told him he was wrong and he told me "Shot up old hispanic". This store has cameras, if they are checked anybody can see that my behavior was normal and with complete sense and reasonable. This Manager could also promote a worst situation because if one of this guys had tried to hit me or use any kind of weapon on me a 65 year old man, as I said before with a desease, I would obligated to use in self defense letal force to that racist, and fascist security officer. This guys refused to let me know their names, I was trying to reach this "MANAGER" since today from noon and is impossible. So I made a complain to the best buy headquarters, and believe me is like a basketball game where the customer is the "ball" they send you from one guy to other and NO ONE give you an answer, that shows to me that they are avoiding their responsibility in this dishonest selling case, and in the use of excessive force on a customer with not reasonable necessity plus an act of discrimination, racism and fascist action from an inept security officer who put on risk customer life just because a not effective and inept manager considered my claim as a war declaration or something like that, avoiding their responsibility they made PLUS or another new problem which come just from their stupid brains. The cashiers and staff at this location are extremely courteous and friendly. They are engaging and very helpful. I went in looking for a tablet for my mom for Christmas and came out with the tablet, memory card, and a game for my husband and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I need to share my unprofessional experience with the Best Buy ar 4251 Outer Loop, Louisville, Kentucky with the customer service associate, named Derion. As my spouse and I approached the counter to return an unopened Alexa HD, Derion says, "What y'all need?" My spouse responds, "I would like to receive a refund on this unopened item." Then Derion asks, "Have the item been opened?" My spouse responded, "No." Derion then walks away from the counter and returns approximately 5 minutes later, and states "What's Up," in a rude manner. My spouse then responds,"Excuse me, what do you mean, what's up?" He then asked if Derion had completed the return. Derion responded, "Yea!" I said you should let a customer know you have completed their transaction, and tell them to have a great day. It's proper customer service etiquette. Derion must have been granted the option or privilege to act in the unprofessional manner towards customers due to fact he felt it was okay to also say "Y'all can just leave if you don't like the customer service!" Derion also hollered across the store, and told the Store Manager on duty, "They can leave!" After my husband and I had a conversation with the store manager on duty, named Robbie in reference to this poor display of customer service and behavior by Derion. Robbie the Store Manager stated, Derion had a lot of family issues going on. Customers come to Best Buy for service, we're not there to hear about employee's personal issues or be treated in a derogatory rude and condescending manner. If customer service is the field Derion plans to maintain employment, he needs to be made aware or reminded that the customer in front of him is priority, and should be treated with dignity and respect. Being confrontational with customers is unacceptable and should NEVER be TOLERATED. Best Buy is a business many people purchase merchandise on a regular basis, which could very well change as long as customers like myself take time to voice unprofessional and irate service such as this displayed by Derion. I purchase some Dr Dre Mixr beats earphones around the time of Black Friday the same day to be exact. The earphones were originally $378 plus tax. So I thought it was a great deal and purchase it with a insurance plan as well for a year. But almost exactly a year later I tried to go back and get them repaired because the earphone leather and straps were falling apart due to a adhesive problem that they were aware of but did not tell me or anybody else for that matter not to mention the company was purchased by Apple in that was not disclosed to either the customers are other employees. So when I go up there they are looking at me like a crazy person and told me that they do not fix the earphones at BestBuy anymore and it is not best buys problem anymore but we still sell them here. That means I lost my insurance as well as my earphones as well because if they did not have the same earphones I could not get them replaced but they did have them and was not trying to give them back or refund me the money back for the amount of the earphones they gave me the degraded value of the Black Friday price and wanted me to pay $378 plus tax to purchase them or repurchase them another time which is crazy. I don't have my earphones because they took them back without the box and everything else because they were just tired of dealing with the same problem that they were aware of I did not get a discount or in store credit to rectify this problem instead they just refunded some of my money and gave me a $47 gift card which basically has no value because those will expire if you hold on to him too long but that's another thing they will not tell you. I would not recommend going to Best Buy at all in purchasing anything because they will sell you the insurance that will change on you the moment you walk out of the store they will tell you to go to the company directly door for other company that has bought the product you are purchasing. I cannot tell you the sadness and mental anguish I am going through right now because everyone knows me for my headphones now I look like a lunatic in my city walking around without my earphones. I know quality and will stand by beats products but I will never stand by best buy again I will go to the company directly and get a better time which is the Beats Pro which is $400 and better than the Mixr. Worst experience I've had at this location or any other retail store. I went in looking for a cover for my Apple Watch (which I called and verified they had it). I got there and of course I didn't see it, which wasn't a huge deal. I asked for help in the Apple section. The guy just point to a shelf and says "if we have it it's over there". I asked which shelf. "One of them" he replied. So after looking for 20 minutes I ask if they have any other Apple Watch accessories. He said that was it. I found another shelf full of apple stuff. I asked if he could help me, dude ignored me so I walked over to him and asked if they had this product in the 42 mm instead of the 38mm. He said "I told you all we have is on that shelf" so I pointed out the other shelf. He said that was all older stuff. Lol. It was still Apple Watch accessories though! So I just told dude forget it, I'll find it myself. Asked another guy. Same result!!!! Then a girl walks in and both of them run to her asking what they can do and helping her. So a guy from another department comes over and helps me. I told him about this and he said that happens all day. The last guy was very helpful too. I went in for a cable and spoke with an employee who showed me which cable to use. When I got to the check out we were all "herded" like cattle to customer service as they didn't have receipts working at the checkout. While waiting in line to check out at customer service I noticed a man sitting behind the counter with a headset on... asleep. I took my purchase home and went to plug it in only to find that it was the wrong cable. I ended up purchasing the correct cable online from a different site (Rakuten). I called and was going to ask what the return policy was as this cable was very expensive. When I called I got hold music and nobody even acknowledged that I was on the phone. Instead, every so often, someone would pick up the phone for a second, not say a word, and put it back on hold. I called back and pressed buttons until I finally got a live person. The first guy I got was rude and when I complained about the way I was put on hold over and over and not even acknowledged on the phone he got snippy and said "That's what we do here." so I asked for a manager. He wanted to know why and I finally just said "Can I please talk to a manager" and he put me on hold. Tim, the manager on the floor over appliances and the warehouse then got on the phone acting like he was very bothered to even speak with me. I again complained about the way the phone was answered and explained that with how it was done, I didn't know when or if anyone would ever come to the phone as I wasn't even acknowledged. He also stated "that is our protocol here". I then asked who the district manager was and he gave me the name "Jason" who I clarified is the store manager. He put me on hold to get the district managers name as he said he didn't know who it was or what their name was, only to come back and tell me he wasn't allowed to tell me his name. I then asked Jason's last name, and he said he didn't know. I then asked when he'd be in, and he said he didn't know. I did find out that the return policy is 15 days, but other than that, it seems that nobody at this store knows much of anything, except how to irritate a customer already frustrated. read more
