I received a phone call and visit to assess the issue later on the same day. Cornelius was professional, efficient, and provided helpful info. Short story: I had washed a load of older throw rugs, backing came off and totally compacted the intake and pump itself similar to a sand pile. Cornelius returned next day with the replacement pump part. The repair took less than 30 minutes and I was back in business catching up the laundry. (Verdict: Don't wash rugs in washer and risk having the backing coming off.) Also, side story: I had Cornelius look at my 2018 model GE stove and double oven combo while he was here, which went partially kaput after I had done a self-cleaning cycle. I figured the high heat had fried the appliance circuit board, but I'm no expert. He gave me an estimate for a repair which entailed replacement part, informed regarding the limited availability and high cost (no longer made) due to age of appliance, and also current comparable stoves to enable me to make the wisest decision for repair or replace. Much appreciated! (Verdict: Don't use the oven's self-cleaning option.) It's been over 2 weeks and all seems well with washer, so I've referred 3 more people for appliance repairs. I have no hesitation in utilizing this service again or recommending to my family and friends.

According to their advertising, they have expanded their repair services to cover industrial sewing machines, longarm quilting machines, multi-needle embroidery machines, and sergers. Based on that information, I contacted them in September 2025 for routine maintenance -- cleaning, oiling, and tension adjustment. My machine was running prior to service, although it had been sitting unused for about a year. After the technician completed the service, I ran a small design and the machine stopped within a few minutes, displaying multiple error codes that had not appeared before. To their credit, communication improved once the issue began, and they picked up the machine to evaluate it further at their store. However, this process continued from September 2025 until February 2026. The machine was ultimately returned to me in February 2026 unrepaired. I was told they were unable to obtain the necessary part and that the head was likely bad. While I appreciate the communication efforts, I am disappointed that I paid $700 for service and, after several months, received my machine back not functioning. This has been a frustrating, lengthy, and costly experience -- and not the outcome I expected when choosing a company that advertises service for multi-needle embroidery machines.

Camelot charges an upfront fee to evaluate what is going on with your device then this upfront fee is applied to any work you choose to have them do. They call back quickly with their evaluation and recommendations. My appliances were back in my kitchen within a couple of days. Staff likes to explain their work in detail. I knew that they worked on sewing machines, so I took my Singer in to get the timing fixed. Wow, has it changed! They always had sewing machines & classes, but they have expanded. The vacuums are still there, but only a some part. Sewing machines get picked up & dropped off every Monday for repairs. The majority of the store has sewing machines, quilting machines, beautiful quilting fabrics & a classroom. They offer classes. Even though I didn't buy my Brother there, I am still welcome to join. Everyone was very friendly. I look forward to participating in the classes offered & shopping for fabrics there.
