Salespeople need better training. Bought a new Roku tv 3/5/26. Price was very competitive and a great tv. I inquired about a tv and the salesman asked if I was really going to buy before he went through the trouble of getting it out of the back. Who does that?? He also had no clue that the tvs are measured top to the bottom across. He argued that a 50 inch was 50 across the top. He did load it in the car for me and that was appreciated. read more

Arrived to get new cover/keyboard for my iPad; was impressed by greeter who asked my name and told me where to go. 35 minutes later, after inquiring a couple of times, someone called out my name to assist and 2 minutes later I had the product. I ordered a computer monitor on 11/11/2025, with their promise to deliver on 11/12 - the next day. On 11/12 they notified me that my delivery was delayed. I tried to cancel the order but they did not allow that. They then promised to deliver on 11/13, but failed, with delivery on 11/14. On 11/18 I returned the monitor to Best buy via Fedex with the BB return form. I will do my best to NEVER buy from Best buy again! I got a new monitor from Costco, who promised to deliver the next day, which they did; it was even cheaper for essentially the same monitor from ASUS. read more

we purchased a new TV at Best Buy at University town center and we paid for a delivery and install installation and when the gentleman left the sound never worked on the TV we called back the store several times and got pushed from line to line to line with no success. The quality of their follow up was awful. We are still sitting here on day, two with no sound on our television and no one can help us. We did sign up to have someone come here tomorrow to help us but it cost us another $125 we've already paid close to $1000 on a $350 TV. It was installed very well onto the wall but now we can't hear any of the shows. This is not acceptable especially since I cannot talk to someone who knows what they're talking about. Recently purchased an HP Envy Laptop from this store. I returned to the store with laptop box "UN-Opened" to have the new laptop loaded with prior laptop info ported over to new one. The sales associate recommended that I purchase the Best Buy Total protection to offset cost of porting old computer to new so I agreed. Today my laptop wouldn't turn on so I took it back to Best Buy to have it looked at. On 1-10-24 we tried to drop off a laptop for a tune up and were refused. We were told that, even though there was NO waiting line, we had a $180.00 Best buy VIP 24/7 membership and we had spent over $5,000.00 this last year at the same store, we had to make an appointment to simply drop off the laptop for service. This task would take 20 minutes so we were to wait 4 hours for our appointment. We never had this kind of issue with Best Buy in the past. He was very patient with me, explained everything in a way that I understood, and was just a nice, professional person. After waiting for over 12 hours for the delivery of a Christmas Present, a 65 inch TV. We had to call the service to find out they were not coming. My husband called three times during the day and was assured that they would be at our home shortly. When my husband finally called at 6PM, we were told that the delivery people could not get the TV. Which was not true. The store then wanted us to reschedule but the earliest date they could give us 12/30. Needless to say we will never buy from them again. This location is a poor reflection of the Best Buy brand, when you compare it to other Best Buy's located throughout the country. In total transparency, I just moved to the area from Los Angeles. I'm a regular customer that is always getting the latest apple products, new TVs, and anything else electronic that money can buy. I always shop at Best Buy and typically spend about $10-15K annually with them. I was beyond disappointed when I visited this location. Much of the inside of the store is worn down, has mis-matched designs, is loaded with boxes / clutter in most isles (it was legit difficult to get to some sections of the store). They are making no attempt to showcase any of their products and it feels more like a warehouse discount store. This is not what a Best Buy is supposed to look like. While I was willing to overlook that, I was not able to get over the lack of customer interest. I spent 20 minutes walking around "waiting" to buy a new MacBook, iPad, 85" TV, and few other items. Not a single person was interested in helping me. They just didn't care at all. Simply put: I value the experience when making major purchases. They completely failed to deliver. I left the store, unable to buy any of the items I wanted and opted to order directly from them / use Amazon. read more

They didn't hook up the drain properly. Sounds like gross negligence to me. No adequate response from them or their insurance company. Now, we probably have to file a lawsuit. this store is repulsive I purchased over$ 3000 dollars of tvs and mounts in addition to $2000 in Sonos equipment. the sales guy told me that the geek squad would mount my five tvs in a few days. it turned out that it was more like 3 weeks after checking out. I had to arrange for another installer and one of the mounts that I purchased didn't work. it was about 60 dollpars. I tried to return the one mount and guess what they refused to accept the return as it was over 2 weeks. I left it with them. this is disgusting and Best Buy should be ashamed. I will never buy from a this store again and I was inches close to having them set up my home theater which was quoted at 5000 dollars. so where is management I am no surprised that they are close to declaring bankruptcy. read more

I purchased 6 new Samsung TV's for our new house. Our 77' stopped working 2 months after installation. Best Buy/Geek Squad say they are not responsible and wont do anything to remedy. They referred me to Samsung. Samsung referred me to a local repair shop. Cone Appliance!!! Cone gets a 1 1/2 star on Yelp! They dont deserve that. Yesterday my Husband and I came into BestBuy around 6:15 to Look at Washer/Dryer sets and Refrigerators. We started looking and we heard a voice asking if we needed any help. We looked up and on a very tall ladder we were being greeted by Derek. He finished what he was doing and came right down and began answering questions for us in regards to the sets. We showed him the set we had seen online. He was pleased to share with us that they were on sale and available for order. We explained that we were building a house and would not need them delivered until sometime in October. He said that would be no problem and we could purchase them today and the warehouse would hold onto them until we had a move in date. He took care of everything and explained the different accessories and warranty options. We made our way to the register and it was closing time at 7 PM and we apologized for being there after close. He and the other associates we spoke with all said absolutely no problem. That was very kind of them but working in retail myself I know what it's like at the end of the day and being ready to head home. Last minute we decided we wanted look at televisions. Derek graciously and without hesitation walked us over to see the selection and in less than a minute we selected an 85 inch Sony television. We went back up to the front where they were able to accommodate the whole transaction together and set us up with the plan for installation. We are both so pleased with the service from Derek at this Location we plan on coming back to Purchase the kitchenAid Refrigerator that we have both decided on! Thank you BestBuy! read more

Bought an item at Best Buy app. I received an email saying that my order would be ready in 1 hour. I get there, ask for my product and the employee told me that it would be about 10 minutes, that they were bringing it to me...no problem. When I come back, I was told that my purchase was canceled because they have no inventory. I ask to talk to a manager eland the guy comes with a trembling voice and hands in his pockets telling me that there's nothing that they can do. They don't care about customer support....they took my payment, but didn't have the product. Now I have to wait for the bank to refund it, and they did NOTHING to keep a customer. They have no management skills...warehouse is probably a mess because earlier I went there to buy a blender and it showed 1 on inventory but the employee could not find it...later when I buy my band for my Apple Watch, they confirm and cancelled after I get there. Honestly I'm not at all surprised that this Best buy location also provides horrible customer service. This is exactly why if I have to buy anything from best buy. I mean If ABSOLUTELY have to order something because I'm not able to find it somewhere else then I always do it online for curbside pick up or delivery. It is the only way I don't end up having to deal with the employees and avoid their rudeness and unprofessionalism. My son has MANY video games that he no longer uses, are in great condition and we found out that best buy has a video games trade in service. You bring the video games ( in good condition, you can check online an estimate of how much they will give you for it) and they will give you store credit in a best buy gift card. I finally had some time and brought about 10 of his video games, great. I get to the counter the girl, already doubting if I was even 18 years old, told me I need to be over 18, have a state DL and they have to check if it's a video game they will accept. I said yes sure of course, gave her my DL. She said she had to go scan my ID took about 10 minutes and when she finally got back she told me something must be wrong with my ID because it wasn't validating on the site they use, I asked her why would that be, I just got it 2 months ago and never had a issue . I asked if she/ I could talk to her manager because how is that possible that because a site isn't working that I'm not able to do a simple thing as trade in used video games? Seriously that's absolutely absurd. My real ID florida driver's license that I've used through TSA security and other actual important things, she has the nerve to say something must be wrong with my ID and that's what her manager said to tell me. I also asked her if I could bring my passport and she said no that it can only be a state DL. I absolutely understand that sometimes things happen and you can't please everyone. That's not what this is about, but it's about the fact that the manager couldn't bother to come and explain or try to even figure out a solution to my problem besides saying that SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY ID is not acceptable. You're in the business of customer service, a manager for a reason I would assume so, but clearly not a good one. Of course trading the video games wasn't a big deal at all. Terrible experience at this store. I bought a $2200 Sony OLED TV and purchased the Best Buy Protection Plan. When my TV stopped working for reasons I was assured the protection plan WOULD cover by the sales rep I bought it from, Best buy would not cover it. Basically I paid $2200 for a TV I got to use for only 3 months. The Manager of THIS Store and Manager of THIS Geek squad just didn't care at all explaining their company policy. They refunded me only prorated Protection which anyone can get back at any time. It is sickening the person I bought the TV from at this store lied to my face, and that the management did NOTHING to help rectify the situation, and worse, they did not seem to care at all when I left my TV there to be recycled. They didn't even try to help troubleshoot or help me to get it repaired.. NOTHING!!! Worst electronics store experience ever. And BEST BUY Protection is a scam. I like Best Buy stores and this one is located in the very busy strip mall area near The Mall at University Town Center. Although the parking lot is large, it was full and difficult to find a place to park. We were greeted as we entered and as we browsed the store, we were approached by the workers, asking if we needed any assistance. This was nice and they weren't over bothering us by asking too much. The lines for returns were a little bit long and seemed to move a a bit slow. The store itself was clean, heavily stocked with tons of items, and looked good. Best Buy has all types of high tech gadgets, electronic toys for kids and adults both, and a nice selection of TV's, computers, and mobile phones and accessories. Our visit here went well and all was smooth as expected. I would shop this location again. Their prices are close to what you can find the items for online, and this way you get to touch and feel them in your hands before making a decision on a purchase. And if you like the item, you take it with you now, no waiting on shipping. This is what retail stores offers over online ordering. Plus I sometimes find new and cool items when browsing Best Buy, so I am happy they have retail stores. read more

We bought a 65" Samsung TV 10/28 with a delivery scheduled for 11/18. On the 18, the time frame was 12-8pm. We also bought the Total Tech plan. At 7:30 , we received a text canceling the delivery. We called the store. They said the truck did not have the TV on it. What? They said they would be there in the morning at 7-12. The store doesn't open till 10. So how were they going to pick it up,? At 9:30 we got a call that they had come to the house and we weren't home so they canceled the order. We also have a 4 piece appliance set on order. Should be negative -1 review. I purchased a new 2022 @Samsung refrigerator for around $3000. April 3, 2022 at @Best Buy. it was delivered April 12, 2022, later than promised. It came with a 2"x3" chromed decal square saying 10 year compressor warranty on the front door. My wife removed the sticker and it damaged the finish on the door. Geek Squad never mentioned that it is supposed to stay on the door. I would not have purchased the model if I was informed that the sticker stays on the door! How lame is that. Mandatory advertising for Samsung.??? Nope. Then Geek Squad was going to replace the door. They said if they couldn't replace the door they would replace the refrigerator. After a few weeks back and forth we were on our own...we caused the problem. Today the top part of the refrigerator is not cooling. It's at 60 degrees. The warranty shop will be here next Thursday!!!! Worst experience purchasing an item that I can remember. Left a message for a Best Buy manager to call me, not a peep.
