After dealing with a gentleman from TELUS (Andre) I realized how long it had been since I had an issue with any business where I truly felt listened to and understood It has been a very long time. I understand that today there are Scripts that people must follow when they're working for any business and I understand that but this gentleman was different . I knew within five minutes that he was really listening to my problem and he was explaining the situation to me as well as taking the time to find out the answers he wasn't sure of from his superior. The issue itself doesn't matter but what shocked me was after about ten minutes I realized Weather it went my way or not I completely trusted this man did all he could and I would accept graciously. Our world needs people like this young man TELUS I don't know if you have a Human Resources Department But this gentleman should be in charge of that department We tend to write more complaints then complements so I wanted to take the time to share this compliment and I hope all in charge at TELUS realize what they have in this young man and give him a promotion or a raise or both . Well let me first start off by saying that if I could give this a "no star" I would. I purchased a…read morestandard car starter for my mother for Christmas this year. When I went to Soundafex to pay for the starter the girl whom I was dealing with asked me the make, model, and what type of transmission the car was. I gave her all the information and when I paid for the starter I was sure to ask if the price included installation. She told me that everything was paid for and all my mother had to do was bring the receipt to show this. The initial appt to have the car starter installed was cancelled due to a snow storm. My mother called back to try to reschedule but all she got was the run around. She finally managed to get an appt into February. When she took her car to Soundafex to have the starter installed they wanted to charge her an extra $50 + tax. They explained that this extra charge was due to the fact that the car was a standard. This didn't make any sense because I PAID for a standard car starter plus installation. She was told that the appt would take 3 hrs.....5.5 hrs later she still didn't get a call. At this time she had to go to work and get someone else to pick up her car but Soundafex wouldn't give the car over unless this "extra charge" was paid. She called them and the guy she spoke with on the phone was EXTREMELY rude saying, "how many times do you need to be told that there is an extra charge"? I spent almost $400 on a standard car starter and the customer service at Soundafex is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. It seems that once they had my money they didn't give a shit. I will NEVER purchase anything from Soundafex again. If you want car starters go to Three Amigos or Future Shop. This store could really use a lesson on proper Customer Serivce.
