Our daughters and their 'friends' were meeting for the first time. We let RMC know that we wanted to surprise our family with a simple vow-exchanging ceremony. The Captain and staff knew - no one else. We were welcomed by two amazing greeters - they presented us with a cold bottle of champagne before we even boarded. The staff had taken time to set a gorgeous table with fresh fruit and snacks - fresh flowers placed around the vessel. it was the perfect welcome. I wish that I could remember all of the names staff: Sofia, Captain Alex are the names that come to mind - but all were great at their jobs. My only discouragement was that the seas were rough, so we had to stay in Puerto Adventuras canals and finally dropped anchor in what I'd consider to be a 'party cove'. Cap Alex did his best to get us away from the twerkers, loud music and drunk partiers. We did surprise our family -Captain Alex ad-libbed the wedding in Spanish, we exchanged vows and he declared us 'husband and wife'. It was magical. I thank the staff, Captain and crew for making a positively wonderful event for us and our families. Thank you!

Our group comprised of three families with adults, teens, and young children. It was all of our first times traveling to Cancun so I wanted to find a private tour for my large group. Booking with them through their website was easy and they were very quick to communicate via email. Leading up to the tour, we had some travel delays, but after updating Rod and their team of our situation, they were very accommodating. Kat was our guide and Pepe was our driver. Kat was informative during our guided walk of Chichen Itza and also accommodating of our last minute concerns and needs. Pepe was a great driver and got us to our destinations swiftly and safely. Marveling at the ruins at Chichen Itza and learning more about the history of Mayan culture and the way life might have been like at the time was very interesting. Kat took photos during our entire tour and later shared them via Google. A plus for our group as we LOVE photos. On our way to Cenote Samaal, we requested a stop for some fresh coconut water. They were quick to find a vendor on the side of the road. Pepe also got out and helped cut the coconuts for the 12 of us. Very impressed with his initiative and helpfulness. The coconuts were so refreshing after walking around in the sun at Chichen Itza! Admission, locker access, life jackets, and lunch were provided for us at Cenote Samaal. Everyone in our group enjoyed swimming in the cenote. The lunch buffet was a favorite among the adults in our group as we got to get a taste of Yucatan cuisine. There was something for everyone on this tour and I would highly recommend this company to anyone traveling to Cancun and wanting to get more than just a tour of Chichen Itza, but an experience of what the Yucatan area has to offer. We will definitely be touring with them again when we're back for our next Cancun adventure!

My wife is not…read morea confident snorkeller but with help from Luis and Limbert she went out into quite a rough sea to see the turtles and then snorkelled over some deep water in the cenote/caves. We both thoroughly enjoyed the half day trip and would recommend it to anyone. Limbert was a very knowledgeable guide and told us a lot about the history of Mexico on the drive down. Both were quite close to Playa Del Carmen/ Playacar so the longest drive was around thirty minutes. I got some great photos and at the end of the trip we were sent a Google Drive of the photos that Limbert had taken.

5/5 Highly Recommend…read more We booked two private tours with Absolute Adventures: first the Tulum Ruins, Swim with Turtles and Mexican Lunch on a Monday and then the Two Cenote and Mexican Lunch on Wednesday. For Tulum and Turtles our tour guide was Luis and our driver was Rodrigo. For the Cenotes, our tour guide was Arturo and our driver was Enrique. Both guides were exceptional and both drivers took good care of us. Booking online was simple and their communication about the tours, both confirming the tours before we left home and same day communication about pickup, was excellent. Our hotel turned out to be a headache about letting outside tour companies onto the property, and we ran into some real meet up issues because of it, but the team was super responsive and got it sorted quickly. It all worked out in the end, and honestly that kind of responsiveness under pressure told us a lot about how they run things. We started our Tulum tour early to beat the crowds and heat (highly recommend!). Luis guided us through Tulum and made sure we stayed hydrated the whole time, which matters more than people think when you're out in that heat. His knowledge of the area, the flora, the fauna, the history, was genuinely impressive, and he had this rare ability to be educational and entertaining at the same time without ever feeling like a lecture. At our turtle excursion he schlepped our gear and made sure we didn't forget anything, none of which was his job, he just did it because that's who he is. I was also practicing my broken Spanish throughout the trip, and Luis never once made me feel dumb or embarrassed when I got it wrong, which I really appreciated. For our next tour, Arturo took us to the cenotes. When he picked us up, he suggested we visit a different cenote than what we'd originally booked. I was a little skeptical, figured he just wanted a shorter drive. I was completely wrong. The cenote he picked instead allowed us to have two totally different types of experiences that we would have missed entirely otherwise, and I'm glad we trusted him. At Cenote Jaguar, Arturo gave our kids real time and space to jump and play, which ended up being a highlight of the whole trip for them. At Cenote Dos Ojos, claustrophobia was a real concern for us. But Arturo's tour through the caves was informative and calm enough that we felt genuinely safe the entire time. Between the logistics, the guides, and how they handled a hiccup that wasn't even their fault, these two tours were one of the best parts of our trip.

I learned a lot about the Mayan people and Aztecs. Unfortunately I underestimated my ability to handle the heat in the area but Eddy and our driver Rodrigo were amazing! I hung out in the shade so my husband could finish the tour, then Eddy got me out of the ruins so fast and back to Rodrigo. We had to cancel the cenote due to my heat exhaustion but they were so understanding and patient and got us back to our resort quickly. If ever in the area again I would absolutely try again and request Eddy as our tour guide!

On Isla Mujeres, instead of staying in the north of the island (where we docked), John was excited to rent a golf cart and so we toured the less touristic, south part the island. We all threw in more cash for the tip and gave him an additional $140. It's worth every penny. We were dropped off around 1:30 and still had the rest of our afternoon to explore Playa. I could type another 7000+ characters but words cannot explain the day we had. Our group chose the reef and cenote tour on July 28th with 6 people. During the ride to the national park location, Eddie explains various facts and information about the reef that we'd shortly be exploring. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. Eddie prefers that you do not apply any sunscreen, even the biodegradable kind. He explained that even the bio friendly stuff harms some of the corals, so pack your rash guards/ long sleeve dry fits! For our lunch, the van pulled up to a roadside tent with about 20 people gathered around, listening to music and having a good time. They were serving pulled pork more or less. Eddie explained that the family had cooked the pig underground. We each received a torta and a taco. All of our food was great in Mexico, but these roadside tortas were out of this world. They had red onions and roasted habanero to top the torta and tacos. I love hot foods and this was the best habanero I've had. We all raved to each other how great this food was while eating at a little table under the shade. After the meal, we all got back into the van and headed to the cavernous cenote, less than 10 minutes away.Eddie's whole crew is very flexible and caters to everyone's needs. When snorkeling in the cave/cenote, you can see everything with the dive lights. Its amazing what you see above and below the water here. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the water is ice cold. I initially took the 10 % discount with NO expiration date. However, as the Shelter in Place order seemed to go on forever and I still have no idea if travel outside the US will be permitted, I emailed them a third time and asked for a refund. When they had difficulty with the PayPal sight, they emailed me back and told me to contact PayPal. They responded to every email I sent, and there were at least 4 and agreed to a full refund. If and when I can get to Cozumel, I will definitely schedule a tour with them. Excellent customer service and no fears of being taken for a ride.
