Never ever buy major appliances like refrigerators or dishwashers from this place. In fact, don't buy anything that requires installation from them. ​The installation delivery crew was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful. It felt like they think we can't survive without a fridge or a dishwasher and that they are doing us a favor. Guess what? We can survive just fine, or we can simply buy from somewhere else. ​If you see that an installer named Leonid is assigned to your delivery, cancel your order immediately. My strongest advice is to stay away and NOT buy any major appliances here. You will absolutely regret it. They seriously need to fix their installation team and fire people like that. After multiple calls to their international call centers, taking my computer to Geek Squad multiple times - telling me nothing was wrong. No, they were completely wrong. It wasn't till today I was told they would need to send it to their repair site in Kentucky for hardware replacement. The catcher is my warranty expires May 6th - sending to Kentucky takes 3 weeks. Best Buy has the absolute worst customer service. My advice? Never shop there! I wish I could give a minus 5. Our experience with Best Buy has been an absolute nightmare, and it just keeps getting worse. After spending over $15k on new appliances and a 98" TV for our home, we anticipated a smooth process. Initially, the buying experience was fine on November 29, 2024. However, when we had to postpone the installation due to unexpected renovations, Best Buy was accommodating in rescheduling. But everything fell apart when the installation team arrived. They were unprofessional and reckless. The two installers dropped our brand-new 98" TV, leaving it shattered. Instead of taking responsibility, they were disrespectful, talking back to us and distractedly playing games on their phones while attempting to install the TV. They left the broken TV in our living room and claimed they had communicated with Best Buy for a replacement. To make matters worse, they couldn't install the sound bar because it was still on back order since November 25. By early March, we were still waiting for resolution. Feeling unsafe in our own home with these workers, we reached out to management to express our concerns. Sara, the manager, apologized and promised us an $800 credit for our troubles. We were relieved, but that relief quickly turned to frustration when the credit never materialized. Days later, we received a call about scheduling a pickup and installation for the new TV. When we asked which company would be handling the installation, they said it would be the same incompetent team from Mastec. This was the last straw for us, and we decided to cancel our order, including the Sonos sound bar. We were left with the mounting bar, the only item that had been delivered in December. When I tried to return it on April 1st, they told me it was too late. After much back and forth, they reluctantly agreed to give me a credit. Feeling that this was unacceptable, I asked to speak with the manager, Wesley. His response was shocking. He told me I was lucky to receive a credit for the unopened box. Despite being aware of the entire ordeal through his assistant Craig, who had communicated with us about our difficulties, Wesley's attitude was dismissive. His final words were, "You take it or nothing. I really don't care." I was left baffled by such a callous response from a manager. Best Buy's customer service is the worst I've ever encountered, and it's clear they don't care about their customers. My advice? Never, ever shop at Best Buy! read more

My computer was hacked when it was in repair at the Geek Squad. All of my financial data (credit cards, pay pal, Home Depot, Walmart acct. etc.), emails (Microsoft), and Facebook were all compromised. They let me know someone will be on the way. The wait was around 1-2 minutes (nothing to be stressed about) and somebody came in to help! My sister (we all live in Ohio, no one to help them) used her Best Buy card and shipped them said laptop to their home. She had purchased Total Tech and was under the impression they could use it. BEWARE OF BEST BUY..... My husband and I purchased the membership at Best Buy which provides discounts and supposedly at the top of list for service and deliveries. Our tv ( purchased at Best Buy) broke. We called on 8/19 for a service call and was told we had to wait until 9/11. We told them that is unacceptable to wait 2 weeks. They listened and provided us with a service call for today, 8/28. Also, we were told that we would receive an email the night before indicating the approximate time of delivery which the email NEVER indicated the time. This morning at 7:30 AM we received an email saying that our service call has been cancelled until Tuesday, 9/2. THREE WEEKS LATER WITH A PURCHASED MEMBERSHIP.... Again, we called and said this is unacceptable. After speaking to a customer service rep. her only answer was... "our apologies". She did nothing to help us, the consumer... We asked to speak with her supervisor.... same response " our apologies". Again.... they did nothing to accommodate us. We cancelled our membership, told them they lost a great, valued customer and we will post how awful the customer service is at BEST BUY. We are going to purchase a new TV at Sam's. Poor service from sales person that sold me a home audio system with installation. The three issues I've experienced are 1. Salesperson Adam Cate's lack of knowledge and knowing what equipment can be installed and what won't work. 2. Again Adam Cate's lack of follow up regarding ordering the new/correct equipment. I had to call in after three weeks went by with no communication from the sales person regarding rescheduling installation. Another week went by and finally got a call to reschedule. After installation was finished the installer advised there was damege to a speaker front casing. Installer advised he informed the sales person and a replacement would be ordered. A month later I had to once again reach out to Best Buy. I was advised he ordered the part and would be in touch. Another month has gone by and still nothing. Currently unresolved. IMO The sales person Adam Cate is in over his head and should be closely watched for damage control. I won't be doing business with Best Buy going forward, I should have paid the couple extra bucks and gone with a local mom and pop establishment. read more

Ordering was no problem. I even purchased the Total Tech option which was supposed to give me dedicated concierge service. Delivery and customer service was the problem. Ordered a complete kitchen appliance package. They hire out their delivery crew. This delivery crew returned the product to the store because they wouldn't deliver to third floor, two sets of stairs, and that a different crew would be doing the delivery. Best Buy customer service didn't do anything except give me the run around for the next three days claiming the items were being shown, "in transit", in their computer and claimed the couldn't reach out to the store. One time even hung up on me so I decided to cancel the order a that point. I found a competitor with the bundle I needed. I them called back and explained that I wanted to cancel the order and explained why when asked. This person didn't even attempt to fix the problem. If he would have I would have stuck with Best Buy and let them complete the order. It was easier to refund the order than to fix the problem which most likely was a call to IT to get them to reset their computer. so I had them refund my order including their Total Tech option. If I had a business and had Customer service like that, I'd be out of business. The last guy I spoke with made no effort whatsoever to salvage the sale. read more

This was in addition to a shallow knowledge of what he was vainly attempting to do. I also explained to him that I was hard of hearing. He ignored this. A. I was charged $ 80 B. I've always been happy with Best Buy products but I was blown away at managements customer service, when my family and I went to the Vero Beach location last week. We had great service in finding a specific audio piece of equipment that we were looking for but then, when we went to purchase our one item, we were directed to customer service where there was a long line of customers making returns. They didn't have a single person to just let us check out, so we sat in line for at least 10 minutes before leaving our item, walking out and ordering from Amazon instead. The line never moved and, even though it wasn't busy, other than customers making returns, management and customer service did nothing. Ill go straight to Amazon from now on. There's no direct store phone number so to even speak to an associate you have to speak to a robot for 5 minutes before even being placed on hold to speak to an associate. When you finally get the opportunity to speak to the associate they lack the knowledge to produce valuable answers. They have no problem taking all form of payments though. Beware - if you purchase something at this Best Buy, and according to the Manager at any Best Buy, and you do not purchase a protection plan, you will not be able to return anything you have bought. I bought a Blink mini camera that stoped working. Tried to return to store, they informed me that because I did not purchase a protection plan I had to go directly to the manufacturer myself to try and get a replacement or credit for a new one. We were about to purchase a very expensive TV, but I will no longer shop at any Best Buy. They offer no help if you have a defective item. read more

I went in to exchange an ipad pro that was price matched to an online competitor. I had purchased this Ipad from the Jensen Beach store which handled the price match with no issues. The person at the returns desk asked a woman at the order pickup area if they could price match with the same competitor that was price matched at Jensen Beach. The woman said loudly, " No, this isn't Jensen Beach." I found this to be very rude and could have been handled in a different manner even if they couldn't do the price match. Over the years my husband and I have spent literally thousands of dollars at Best Buy on phones, appliances, computers, etc. When my printer died, of course I went online at Best Buy and found the printer I liked, the Epson ET-2850. Because I am a Total Tech customer, I was given an additional $30 off. I also had a $5 rewards certificate so great deal, right? When I tried to order it online, it would not accept my Total Tech discount or my certificate so I called and placed it over the phone. The CSR was able to complete the sale online but she made an error. I was supposed to get a free 90 day trial of Microsoft 365 and she forgot to add it. She was supposed to fix it but we got disconnected and she did not call me back. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone for this. When I picked up the printer today I was told the store could do nothing unless I returned the printer and bought it again, but he couldn't guarantee that I could use my discounts. He told me to call Best Buy. Well, I did and one hour and 10 minutes later after being transferred about 6 times, I was told again, that I needed to return the printer and but it again. Since I was on the phone over an hour, I set up the printer (which has ink tanks instead of cartridges and they were all filled). So to recap, I ordered over the phone, their agent messed up, and I have to fix it by packing it up and taking it back to store and buying it again. This free trial has a $30 retail value and no one seemed to think my business is worth $30. This was after listening to everyone I talked to thanking me for being a Total Tech customer and telling me how important I am to them. Yesterday, I decided to check them out one more time as I desperately need a new computer to do videos for my business. I must say it was an excellent experience as I worked with both Ethan and Brandon and they were very knowledgeable, professional and answered all my zillion questions! I even bought a Geek Squad plan with fear and trepidation! However, again to my surprise I met Dillion and he set me up in no time and again very knowledgeable, professional and great customer service! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was not the employees, but Best Buy making customers wait long times because they only have two people on staff who can service the computers! I have been a Best Buy customer my entire life, but they have been the only company I have ever used for smart phones. I have gotten every smart phone from them and used their protection plan since my first phone. The few times I have had to use the plan over the years, I have had to jump through hoops, by going in multiple times to see the manager and to call in to corporate as there was always a reason they would not honor my insurance plan. This time they told me my phone was abused, when it was not. I dropped it, the screen cracked, and a chunk of the glass fell out. Due to the glass falling out and the edges being scuffed up, the Geek Squad Manager and the General Manager refused to honor the protection. After it being explained why, I asked that basically he was saying they can subjectively refuse to replace any phone for any reason, and the manager agreed. I asked repeatedly to see any specific documentation explaining why my phone was deemed not able to be exchanged, yet there was none in the protection plan contract and the response was just that it was in their training. This is unethical and unfair business practice and horrible customer service. I will look into legal options to see if this can be remedied, but Best Buy has lost a decades long loyal customer, all for not wanting to honor something that had been paid for for years. Do not use this store for mobile needs, as they use every opportunity to not provide the service you rightfully are owed. read more

Went to the store with my daughter and parents to buy an iPad and a computer for my elderly parents. An older associate came over to help us. She stated there were no iPads available at the time and the only computer that was available was $500 and something dollars. When my daughter stated that her grandfather only used it to read his local newspaper, the associated stated that the computer she was pushing on us was the only one he should have.
