They worked really hard, did a really nice job, and took away all the waste when they were done. We've had lots of compliments on the new walkway, the landings, and the columns from the neighbors. They would be our go-to stone / paving contractor, and we would certainly recommend them to our friends!

Barcco Services has been a responsive, responsible and affordable roofer for me and my neighbors…read more I've used them at least twice. Once to repair/flatten shingles around a dormer and another time to patch a hole where a chimney was removed. For the dormer project, he ordered a whole package of shingles and let us keep the unused ones. That was helpful because we used those same shingles for the patch project. Barcco Services gave us a quote to remove the chimney AND patch the roof. His quote was really low compared to the chimney masons who also gave an estimate. We ultimately decided that using both companies would maximize the expertise and give the best value. We were very pleased with their cooperation and coordination. Later, we recommend Barcco Services to a neighbor and they were pleased also. The estimate was lower than they expected.

Some even declined the work. So, we hired Riverside Sheet Metal & Contracting in Medford, MA based on the work we had seen and excellent reviews from actual clients. The owners were intricately involved and provided us with some terrific ideas based on their experience and creativity. We were a bit concerned being on the opposite side of the country, but they were professional, confident, knowledgeable and extremely responsive working with our existing contractor. The product was packaged so well and shipped as if they were right down the street! We were able to complete the work on time and within budget! We had our kitchen renovated and even after we hit a major snag and had a few hiccups, they remained dedicated to completing the job well, rather than rushing through. There were a few instances where our finished surfaces weren't covered after installation and work was still going on (cabinets, countertop, floors) and it would have been great to have them protected right after installation without us asking, but nonetheless they always followed through on our requests and respected our wishes as the homeowners and the finished kitchen came out great. The crew was respectful and we always felt like they really worked hard to ensure we were happy. Beckmann construction very clearly knows what they are doing and are great at it. I had my kitchen renovated while living in my unit. The workers did their best to remain unobtrusive, and they timed the project so that I could use my kitchen almost the entire time. Adam's prices were extremely reasonable. I appreciated that, when I made a few last-minute requests on project changes, he was flexible. My favorite thing is that Adam gave me a lot of peace-of-mind -- I am a huge worrywart, and I probably sent Adam an email every day (on average) to follow-up on the status of the project. Adam replied to every email and call very patiently and was always very communicative. You really can't ask for more. Highly recommended; I won't hesitate to call Adam again when I need more renovations done. Thanks Adam!
