This place is OK, nothing to brag about. I stopped expecting much from them years ago. Basic is definitely the way to go... meaning no acrylic or intricate designs. I will say my gel manicure/pedicure from here always lasts forever (0 chipping). I read a few reviews saying they charge different prices for the same service and I can confirm that they do charge different prices for the SAME service. Which I have evidence of on my bank statements... it's usually like a $2-$5 difference. I don't necessarily mind because I just take it from the tip (sorry not sorry). I just got my nails done on Monday, February 1st and they are already lifting today is Friday the 5th. it's unfortunate that they are lifting and I didn't even ask for Ombré, I asked for all white and I wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and by the time she got to my fifth finger is when I notice she was doing Ombré. So I've been going to this salon for years , I've referred so many friends and recently I went in. When asked what I was there for , as I was signing in I said a full set. The receptionist had her feet up on the desk and said I don't need to sign in. They're ready for me now , she then asked if I wanted a pedicure I said no. So I'm standing there waiting to be directed to which chair to sit at because she had told me they're ready for me now. She then tells me to take a seat and they'll be with me shortly. I wait for about 5 mins then I'm moved to the back and seated which I wait another 10 mins for my technician to sit down. I showed him 2 different pictures of "Tapered Square" nails. I said this is what I want. He said coffin , I said no. Tapered square. I left the salon with square nails that were not even and acrylic stuck under my nails as well as my nail not being painted all the way. My total was $43 , I tipped $5 . I came in the next day because I was unhappy about my set , I was then given to a different technician because the one who had done my nails wasn't there that day. When I first walked in they told me to come back when he was there. I then said "no you can remove my set and issue me a refund" that is when they decided to seat me. I had to pay an extra $5 to get coffin because they could not achieve "tapered square" then they left my nail uneven with a huge chunk missing from my gel polish , as well as using blue not black. On the second visit, my pedicure was really bad, and she rushed thru the paint job. For the manicure, the tech cut my nails and didn't file at all. I have been here many times and have waited to leave a review because I wanted to try a few nail technicians doing so. I adore Anna! She is so funny and kind! She makes me feel like I am in another world with her sense of humor and sincere questions regarding my comfort level with her service and my family. She makes it easy to talk to her and she also let's me in on what the other techs are laughing and talking about sometimes, which makes me feel apart of the moment. She is a perfectionist and it shows! Her mani/peds hold up until I see her again. I also like Amy! She is very gentle with my hands and does a very excellent job too! My daughter thinks Amy is amazing and prefers her over the other techs because she is so gentle and is a perfectionist. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't so much chatter at while I am getting a pedicure. I don't particularly like when I am trying to relax and my tech is chattering like crazy. I love this place. Every time I go I get the full salon experience. It's relaxing, they take their time and they do really great, qualify work. I never feel pressured into doing anything or paying for more than what I want. For my daughter, mother and I to all get our feet and hands done it's about $120. I only paid $34 for the fill which is fine because I had 2 broken nails to replace. I don't like that you can not add your tip to your bill it is strictly cash only. They have an atm machine in the shop. Um no thanks it will charge me a fee just to pull money out. So sorry lady no tip for you today. There selection of gel colors not so good. I have been to plenty of places where the colors are practically endless. I asked to not have my nails cut because I liked the length but I guess that translated into "filing the crap out of them" which shortened my length. Worst experience. I had Kevin attempt to do my nails ombré with white tip. He did such a bad job I asked him to fix a couple of nails and he got upset. He started to fix one and then said he was going to take them all off and have another staff redo them. Then he said he was going to take them off and that I would have to come back tomorrow. I waited two hours for him to mess them up, get upset that I was asking him to fix my nails and then began to take them off with a nail clipper. I went in with someone who asked for the same design and she started before me with another staff and finished before me. Don't waste your time and money! I will not be going back here. ---- So I decided to bring some friends here for a girl date and ended up having a horrible experience. I had been here one time before, 2 weeks earlier and had a decent experience so I figured this time wouldn't be different. Well I was wrong... I wanted a Classic Pedicure and a Gel Manicure. One of my friends wanted the same EXACT service as me, including French nails. The lady who did my pedicure did not do the Classic Pedicure (it included a foot scrub, exfoliate, massage, etc.). She lightly used the pumice stick to scrub my feet, did not use anything else that was listed, put a huge amount of lotion on my legs for the massage, and then started my pedicure. I decided that since my friends were almost done that I would just talk to her after the service. The manicurist that did my nails did a good job but made my hand massage painful with his very rough hands. Now, remember I had been here before so I knew what I wanted and what I received 2 weeks earlier. When I went to pay, I politely asked the lady who did my pedicure if I could be charged for a cheaper pedicure since I did not receive everything the pedicure offered. I was not upset since I figured it was a simple mistake. Another lady decided to join in and I told her what happened and that when I came here before, I got everything listed. She decided to tell me that I didn't come here 2 weeks ago and get a pedicure and then decided to rudely point at the pamphlet and ask "Can you read, can you read?". I was shocked by her attitude and decided I was going to pay my $60 and never come back. My friend who received the same service told me she got everything listed on there but we agreed not to make it a big deal. It sucks to be here now. I had been coming here for almost 2 years, loving most experiences. Then I get a set of nails done and immediately one breaks. I get it fixed. The next daY another breaks. I get it fixed. I leave for a week in Vegas and immediately two more break. I come back and pay to get them fixed. 3 days later one of the just repaired ones broke again, the exact one I said was too thin but he assured me he knew best after having to fight to get them to use the correct powder to match the rest of my hand. Now they tell me it's my fault because I asked for long nails. Never have I had a problem with a set. Never have they said they were "too long" and when I contested, they just continued to blame my choice in shape of nail and claIm no responsibility for quality of work. I was there 2 days ago for a powder dip which I've had there 2 previous times. In Nov it was $33, in Dec it was $36, $3 extra for 1 tip. Then Jan 8 it was $45. I went back to dispute the larger amount. He said it was for a full dip ($43) but only charged me $2 for a tip, so $45. And he didn't even put a tip on! They are so argumentative and no apology.
