Okay so I've been to Temecula before, but I've never done a wine tour. So very last minute I did a google search and found this company. Honestly absolutely loved every minute of it! Pros: 1. They will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off afterwards. They are basically a fun designated driver for you. 2. You will have a lot of wine included for the ride. 3. In-between wineries our driver Joe gave us history and fun facts about Temecula and the wineries we were visiting. 4. Super unique experiences you wouldn't expect on a standard walk in tasting. We got to enter a cave, drink directly from a barrel, and see the production area of some wineries. Con: 1. The only con and it's nothing against the company. It's I just wish we had a little longer at each winery. However I also understand why we can't. We got picked up right at 11am and dropped off at 4:30pm. That was with an hour long stop at each winery. It just can be fun when all the tastings gave me 6 tastings. So you really have to down them quickly. It would be nice to have 5-10 minutes more, but again not a huge problem. Overall this company is absolutely fantastic! I truly enjoyed every minute and I will book them again in the future! read more

I initially posted a review, flavored with my disappointment over repeated canceled tours. Joseph, the driver and co-owner, contacted me right away and offered to make it right. And right he made it! He scheduled my wife and me for complimentary seats aboard his Temecula wine tour van, at our convenience, and made us feel like royalty. He treated us like good friends, despite the prior negative feedback, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The tour itself was wonderful. Best Coast works with a group of wineries in the area who are just as passionate about wine-making and customer service as Joseph is. Each one welcomed us warmly, with personalized tours, wine tastings, glimpses into the production side of wine-making, and allowing us to roam pretty much freely about their manicured grounds. Only our last stop of the day lacked a real personal touch: Callaway. Despite having some excellent (truly) wine offerings, it was simply too busy a place to make any kind of connection with the staff there. But enjoyable nonetheless, and their wild yeast Petit Syrah was...to...die...for! Special shout out to John (the owner) at Somerset Winery. He took us on a tour personally, answered all of our questions, and was a congenial and generous host. I think we'll likely be frequent returns to Somerset! Thank you to Joseph for showing us around, giving us some fascinating insights into the growth of the Temecula wine region, and just being an overall great guy to get to know. Decided to have a weekend staycation and I'm so glad we tried out Best Coast for our first wine tour! Joseph and the team are very communicative throughout in regards to pick-ups, getting our lunch orders in, telling us all about the local wineries, and other fun facts during the tour! We opted to get picked up at the Starbucks in Temecula and they were very timely. The wine tour bus is very modern (there's charging ports inside), clean, and spacious. I was a bit worried since 13 of the 14 seats were filled during my tour, but everyone including the other parties were so friendly on the bus and accommodating, it definitely made us feel better about going on the tour. During our tour, Joseph was very informative and personable (kudos to him for being awesome!) Everyone had a great time and we stopped by four different wineries; 3 for wine tastings and 1 for lunch. Although there was no wine tastings at the lunch stop (which btw is Board and Brew sandwiches), they do offer wine you can purchase like their wine slushies but don't forget to mention you're on the tour bus to get a small discount!! Overall, it was a fun trip. The parties on the tour was a couple celebrating their anniversary, a family, and us two girls for a weekend getaway; so it looks like this wine tour could definitely be a great way to celebrate pretty much anything! Tip: There's a couple free parking areas in Old Town Temecula but I recommend parking at the free public City Hall parking building for shade alllll dayyy. read more

He kept the tour on track, has great connections in Temecula, and made the trip informative and most importantly fun. We really loved touring with Best Coast Tours, it was such a breeze to get to and from locations. We visited all new locations and each one was unique in their own way. For example, we went to one with the largest cave and it had a really nice restaurant spot as well. Our first winery tour was really personable and the owner himself gave us the tour and provided us with a lot of the background history of their wine.I loved the set itinerary that was provided while booking, it was enough time to enjoy each winery visit. The ride itself was really comfortable and smooth. It was really nice being able to go along with friends and just enjoy the trip and adventure. Our tour guide was Joseph did a nice job providing information about the area of Temecula and the vineyards in the area. He kept us informed about our pickup times and stayed on schedule. At each stop the driver would leave and go "somewhere" while we completed the tours, but when he returned to pick us up the van was Hot as Heck...The air in the van with the 100-degree temperatures in the valley did not make for a pleasant experience. For the amount that we paid and the number of people on the van the driver should have insured that we stayed cool at each pick up. We were informed that we would receive water on the van, but there was none. The tour set up each of the wineries, and we were also able to preorder lunch to cut down our wait time. Recommend this tour for a cooler time of year. read more

We had a great time on our tour with Joseph. We visited 4 wineries - 3 for tastings and 1 for lunch. We had about an hour at each winery which was perfect. We espeically liked that we were given tasting tickets and able to pick what wines we wanted to taste, rather than the winery making that decision. Joseph was informative, fun and friendly to all.
