I will start with this: nobody is your friend and they all try to make a buck. So it's your responsibility do your homework and inspect a truck, not just look at the exterior and a lift kit,some wheels and a new coolant tank with pink fluid that catches your eye. They do a little more maintenance than other places, they probably buy trucks/vans that are cleaner and detail them a bit, plus it gives me the impression they know how a good engine is supposed to work. I got a van from them. Transaction was smooth, no pressure from them, even if I kept them over the regular working hours and even got a bit of a discount (the vehicle was pricey even with the discount, but it was what I was looking for and couldn't find it somewhere else in this shape, with low mileage, in a hurry). 1 owner, 104k miles, 5.3 V8. I spend some money to do the maintenance, but this was an expense that I expected. Nobody is going to sell you a truck/van with brand new oil, spark plugs, bushings, and so on. Or if they sell it, they will have a different price. The only problem with mine was the paint; they tried to do some touch-ups but finally, it started peeling on the roof and door, but I dealt with it. I am one of the fortunate ones who did NOT end up purchasing a vehicle from this business because Jose did me a favor by selling a car out from under me that he knew I was on my way to buying. I spoke with him on a Tuesday evening at 4:30 pm, he told me everything to bring with me for financing the vehicle I had looked at, I told him I would be there Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. to complete the purchase. He told me to "call first" which I thought was strange, but I did and he then proceeded to tell me he had sold the vehicle. I found it very strange that this car had been on his lot for over 60 days and suddenly overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday he sells it. Turns out this dirty little dealer can't even give there vehicles a simple oil change. Engine oil was black. Tranny oil dirty. Brake fluid dirty. Front shocks leaking oil. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. My experience was as pleasant and smooth as it gets from any auto dealer. I purchased a customized 2003 Dodge Dakota SLT 4.7 V8 truck here a few months ago and no complaints here! The truck is in excellent condition with no problems to report. I originally called and spoke to the owner of the business and he was a friendly, nice guy. When I finally came to check out the truck in person a week later, I dealt with Jose. He was cool and gave me the keys so I could check out the truck inside and out without being hassled. I took my time and checked out the interior, under the hood, lights inside and out, started it up, checked out the AC, radio, etc. He then let me test drive it... everything was perfect and it ran great. When I came back to the lot we went into the office, and made a smooth, quick transaction, and the truck was mine! They even gave me a discount from the advertised price. AND they let me pay with a personal check... (that's up to the owner and if they trust you), but that was refreshing that a used car business uses the honor system and still trusts people these days! A few weeks later in the mail I received the new tags and registration in my name, as well as the Title. It couldn't have been easier and I love this truck. I grew up in the Orange area, and have shopped their lot over the years when looking for diesel trucks mostly. They are a wholesale company buying auction trucks just like any, so you need to have some knowledge of what you are shopping for and inspect the trucks prior to purchase just as you would at any used car lot or private party purchase. They aren't experts on all things, however have always treated me well and been welcoming. I have purchased two trucks over the past few years from them one being a 2001 F-350 Diesel 7.3 4x4, and one being a 2003 Dakota 4x4 manual 4.7 v8 both ran as expected, both needed basic maintenance and some upgraded items per my personal choice, at both purchases I looked at multiple comparable at their lot and others in the same business structure, I picked the best trucks in front of me and the transaction was smooth, fast, painless. Their prices fluctuate with the market place as to be expected. Bought a f-250 in February from Best Deal Auto Brokers and let me say i completely regret it. Truck was fairly clean and sounded good, went to a local diesel shop to have them go over in and inspect it about a month after purchasing and come to find out that it needed a valve rebuild on the top end due to cylinder 8 having issues, new pulleys for the belt, new belt, new steering box, and the list goes on. I have now spent $7800 dollars repairing these issue that they supposedly there diesel techs repaired before listing it. I HIGHLY recommend that if you purchase a vehicle form this dealer you take it off site and have it inspected by a mechanic before purchasing it. Okay, so I bought my truck from here about 2 years ago and that was a big mistake. I bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad cab 4.7lt 4x4 with 121,000 miles on it. Paid about 7k out the door and was initially very happy. Then all the things started going wrong. First the dash lights did not work which I hadn't noticed since I test drove it in the day. They installed the wrong brake pads and warped the rotors because of this. Also they installed an ancient radio with very bad wiring job full of bad splices and lots of electric tape. Over bumps the speakers would go in and out due to the bad wiring. The windshield wiper fluid line was broken and would leak completely out and never actually spray on the windshield. 6 months later the radiator failed and I replaced the entire cooling system, radiator, water pump, thermostat, belts, fan clutch, etc. While replacing that I noticed my front shock bolts, that hold the bottom of the shock in place, where both missing. This also caused my suspension to sag and made my CV joint covers for my 4x4 tear and spray grease all over the underside of my truck Then the heater core began to leak into the passenger floor boards and made my a/c look like white smoke coming out and the cab smell like radiator fluid. Just recently my exhaust fell off while on the freeway. Not a small part but a literal 6ft pipe with the muffler snapped off because of a bad repair job. I have only kept this truck because I financed it through my bank and am pretty decent with a wrench and fixed all this myself. If I haven't convinced you with this short story of problems then by all means strap yourself into this financial electric chair and end yourself. Lemon lot is an understatement. Great friendly staff but expect nothing once you've paid and are off the lot. Bring 6 mechanics and do your research because you'll be better off building your own vehicle from scratch then buying their mistakes. Hopefully getting rid of this misery very soon. read more
