Before coming into Fullerton, I had originally taken my truck to another Ford dealer in the area, in which my truck sat there for a week, not even pulled into the shop, undiagnosed, and fully un-communicated with by the service advisor. Which was super frustrating being out a vehicle for this amount of time. I ended up picking the truck up and taking it over to Fullerton, which was a great decision! At Fullerton, I got in touch with Cesar, who took excellent care of me and my truck. He was super communicative, and productive on getting my transmission issues fixed under warranty and was even able to get me a rental car while my truck was getting wrenched on. I do want to note too, the whole service team was great, when Cesar was gone or out for lunch they all picked up his work and made sure I was taken care of. Hopefully I don't find myself back in the service department anytime soon, but if I do, I'm 100% bringing the vehicles to Fullerton over any Ford service dept in SoCal. Might even find myself in the sales department later on down the road!

On Friday, February 28, at around 7:00 PM, I went in to purchase a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport that was advertised for $38,060 (see photo). During negotiations, Mark insisted I had to purchase paint protection, LoJack, and several other add-ons totaling nearly $7,000. I declined multiple times, but he claimed the items were already included in the price -- something I later confirmed is not legal to force on a buyer. He refused to move from a price of about $45,000, despite the vehicle being listed around $38,000. I ultimately walked away. After leaving and doing some quick research, I returned to the dealership and informed him that mandatory add-ons are not allowed. At that point, he changed his story, saying the products were already installed on the vehicle, then provided yet another price including LoJack, claiming it was already in the car -- which did not appear to be true. In my opinion, this felt extremely dishonest and misleading, and the entire experience came across as very shady. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a vehicle here to carefully review pricing and question any forced add-ons.

I came to visit RC Automotive because of a repair accident that occurred at another repair shop…read more Even though it was late afternoon like 6 p.m. when I first visited, Ken welcomed me warmly without showing any discomfort, and he explained the condition of my vehicle and the necessary repairs in great detail and with honesty, which gave me a great sense of trust. What I found particularly impressive was that he did not simply stop at repairing the car, but also took the time to think together about the issues that came from the previous repair accident as if it were his own matter. I was also very satisfied with how he did not recommend unnecessary repairs and accurately addressed only the necessary parts, and how he suggested reasonable options when it came to parts. The work was carried out very cleanly, and although the vehicle was already in good condition before the accident, it is now in an even better state. Ken also provided a separate warranty for the work that was done, and afterward actively checked on the condition and helped with continuous follow-up management. Since my first visit, I have visited several more times, but not once have I doubted his professionalism and skill. I recently took my 2024 Ram 2500 in for repairs that were still covered under warranty. I was told that it was "normal" and that it would stay that way. Well, it didn't. The rubber has continued to separate and is now even worse and close to coming completely off. The problem is that my truck is now at 36,500 miles, so I'm being told it's no longer covered under warranty. Had the service advisor properly inspected the issue and addressed it when I originally brought it in, it could have been taken care of under warranty. This is extremely frustrating. I shouldn't have to pay out of pocket or install the parts myself because someone was too lazy or unwilling to properly address an issue while the vehicle was still under warranty. This is a perfect example of why it's important for service advisors to take customers' concerns seriously and actually do their jobs completely. Very disappointing experience.
