Service technician going over vehicle. Tire depth
    Steve O.

Let me share my experience with Beach city Toyota. I arrive to my 12pm appointment for an oil change. To my surprise the service department is empty. I think wow it's my lucky day. The service advisor Justin Dinh. He's courteous and greets me. I drop off the keys with him and he asks me to have a seat at his desk. He comes over and we discuss how I am a new customer. He proceeded to enter in all my information. I ask what oil specials they have and he says there on the website (so nice of him, huh?). So I go to the website and look up oils changes. I mention the price and he says oh you have a V8 so that price doesn't apply. Ehh okay whatever... I get my vehicle serviced and the service technician Danny sends me a video of my vehicle and what issues they found. (Very cool) I was impressed with this. Looks like my vehicle is ready. Another service advisor greets me and proceeds to give me the news and what are my options. His name is Dustin Nguyen. Pleasant fellow, we discuss the vehicle a bit and gives me a quote of the estimated repairs. I pay and well on my way. ON MY DRIVE HOME I see a billboard that says FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS GET 19.99 OIL CHANGE. So I call Justin and ask if I can get the first time customer discount. He says No, not unless I ask for the special when I checked in. SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, YOU MUST ASK FOR THE DISCOUNT. Their policy is get as much money out of the customer rather than build a long term customer relationship. WELP YOU SUCCEEDED AND I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DEALERSHIP. BUYER BEWARE!!! Too bad because the interaction otherwise was really great.

My service advisor. Michael was great when i came in for my oil change and tire rotation. The area was very spacious and clean. I'll be back for my next oil change even though they're other Toyota dealerships closer to my house.

    2024 Tundra 4X4 Limited. She's a beauty

After a months of looking for a Tundra and dealing with the shadiest garbage dealerships who think we're all idiots so they add on $5000 in extra BS fee's when you're ready to buy, I found Beach Cities. Easiest purchase I've ever had. James sent me the total costs, I removed the add on's I didn't want and I showed up 2 days later to write a check and pick up my new girl. Easy. Once I got home I noticed a chip in the windshield way up at the top hidden by the tint around the camera. I messaged James right away and he setup an appointment for me without hesitation to get it filled. I went in at the allotted time and they told me they could not fix the windshield. The chip was covering the camera and if they tried to fill it, it would block the camera view. James wasn't there so I walked up to the Sales manager Wilmer and explain the situation. He immediately wrote up a slip to replace the entire windshield, apologized for the inconvenience, shook my hand and took care of this situation like a mafia boss G. Thank you Wilmer and James for being the best kind of professionals in your industry and always taking care of the customer. 5 stars all the way.

Excited for my brand new car. I'm glad it was eventually fixed by West Coast Toyota of Long Beach.
    Zaida Q.

I strongly recommend staying away from this Toyota location due to their carelessness and lack of follow up. I purchased a brand new Toyota Corolla Cross LE that was missing two critical engine components the cooling fans which neither the sales team nor the parts and service department caught, even after the car overheated as I was driving off the lot. A brand new vehicle should never overheat, yet my concerns were ignored and not properly addressed for far too long. It was not until the summer of 2025 that West Coast Toyota of Long Beach finally fixed the issue after the car continued overheating in hot weather. This situation should never have happened and clearly shows that they do not care about their customers or the safety and reliability of the vehicles they sell.

this is my local Toyota dealership. I've been here twice, and the staff are all very friendly. They have a large selection of vehicles. Their service department can handles most job for your Toyota. Pricing on parts is very competitive, they are always one of my option to call and check to see if I can get the best price on a part for my cars. As always shop around but you won't be disappointed if you try here!

    4runner TRD ORP

I bought a 4runner TRD ORP with the help of Nguyen and finance director Wilmer. They both provided professional and courteous service. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. They answered all my questions, worked with my credit union to get the best finance, and never made me feel pressured. This is my first 4Runner and highly recommend coming here for the service and a hassle-free car buying experience.

They did not fill the tank before giving us the car. 68 miles on the car, yet only 3 miles was driven.

please take your time to read the review below before coming here. its best to invest your time and money elsewhere.

This was the defective piece before repair...

Beach Cities Toyota in Westminster - Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Refuses to Stand Behind Toyota Warranty I purchased a brand new 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander from Beach Cities Toyota in Westminster, CA, and after only 700 miles, the seat covers started tearing along the perforated seams. Here's what happened: * I've had to bring the vehicle in 5 times for the same issue. * The upholstery technician, Adam, admitted this is a design flaw with the leather seats. He explained that synthetic has stretch but perforated leather does not, and said the tearing would continue even after repair. He even admitted he sewed the holes back together instead of fixing the root issue. * The so-called "repair" looked worse than the original damage. * Despite not being present for the assessment, Service Manager Michael H told Toyota reps a different story. After only a few minutes of inspection, Toyota and Mike H blamed the issue on the child seat anchor, even though another seat with no child seat installed has the exact same tearing. * When I asked why a "family SUV" can't handle a standard child seat anchor, Mike H dodged responsibility and gave a ridiculous response that he "legally can't tell me how tight to latch a car seat." This dealership's service department (Mike H, Ryan, Shawn, and Adam) refuses to take accountability. They damaged my brand new vehicle, denied responsibility, and are now trying to shift blame onto the customer. If Toyota is saying their seats will rip under normal child seat use, then they've completely misrepresented this vehicle as family-friendly. The problems don't stop at service: Finance (Sergio) was pushy, rude, and tried to force unnecessary add-ons with a scammy attitude. If you refused, he made sure he let you know and tried to bully you in any other possible way. The only decent people I worked with were Paul and Sam in sales, but the rest of the dealership is a nightmare. Warning to families: If you're considering buying a Toyota here, especially a Grand Highlander, think twice. Toyota and Beach Cities Toyota in Westminster do not stand by their product, their warranty, or their customers. After being a lifelong Toyota/Lexus family, this experience has convinced me to never return.

Big TV with live sports and cushy seats in the customer waiting area - very nice!

After taking delivery, we discovered that the AC was not working, there was a significant dent in the fender that had been missed, and the vehicle was not as clean as I would have expected. Needless to say, that was frustrating and took away from the excitement of getting the car. That said, Kia Garden Grove has gone above and beyond to make things right. They provided a loaner vehicle, arranged to have the dent repaired, fixed the AC issue, and even delivered the EV9 back to me while picking up the loaner on the return trip. The staff has been professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. I am still bummed about the initial condition of the EV9, but I really appreciate how they handled the situation and stood behind the customer experience. Overall, amazing service and a great team. I would just hope the vehicle inspection and delivery prep process improves so future customers don't run into the same issues.

    ## Review for Kia of Garden Grove **Rating: **…read moreI strongly advise anyone looking for a vehicle to steer clear of Kia of Garden Grove. They are the textbook definition of "bait and switch" and "predatory dealer markups." I went in to look at a used **2024 Kia Sorento** listed online for **$27,696**. While the initial sales associate was pleasant, the experience soured the moment we sat down to talk numbers. Despite telling them upfront that I would pay the sticker price plus standard taxes and DMV fees--and absolutely no dealer add-ons--the finance manager presented an "out-the-door" price of **over $40,000**. They attempted to tack on nearly **$10,000 in markups and useless add-ons**. When I challenged this, the manager's "best offer" was to remove most items except for a **$1,500 LoJack fee**. This car already comes equipped with onboard tracking services; charging $1,500 for a redundant system is a blatant cash grab. When I refused to pay for something I didn't want or need, the manager became incredibly rude. I ended up walking out, and he continued to make unprofessional comments as I left the building. It is a complete waste of time to negotiate with people who don't respect your boundaries or your intelligence. If you want a transparent buying experience without the "market adjustment" games, take your business elsewhere--places like Carmax prove you don't have to deal with these ridiculous tactics. **Avoid this dealership at all costs.**

Today was going to be the last time I ever came to this dealership for service--because of how bad…read morethe experience was when Randy Doan was not here. Ironically, the only reason I ever got to meet Randy was because of that terrible service experience. I left a review, and Randy personally reached out to me. That call completely changed my perception of this service department. Randy Doan is an exceptional asset to this dealership, and he is the only reason I drive nearly 40 miles to have my car serviced here when there are at least four or five Toyota dealerships much closer to me. Unlike another manager I dealt with during Randy's absence, Andy actually listens. He does not dismiss concerns, minimize issues, or deflect responsibility--he addresses problems head-on and follows through. The other manager Andy was, quite frankly, absolutely useless. When I heard Randy was back from his leave today, I was genuinely elated. While he was out, I needed basic information from the service manager for an insurance claim after another car hit me. What should have been a simple request turned into an exhausting, frustrating ordeal--it was like pulling teeth. Randy's professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability stand in stark contrast to how poorly the service department was managed without him. I truly hope this dealership understands what a gem he is, because I am certain I am not the only customer who continues servicing their vehicle here solely because of him. If Randy had not returned, I would never come back. The only reason this dealership receives five stars from me is because of Randy Doan., WITHOUT RANDY HERE ZERO STAR IS TOO MANY FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT'S MANAGEMENT. I sincerely hope leadership recognizes his value--and also understands just how awful service management was in his absence.

3 stars Short story version: Got my 2026 RAV4 and am happy with it…read more Long story version** (includes some issues I feel I should mention): Purchased from Toyota Place primarily because they had one still available to prepurchase, (& hesitantly due the lack of stellar reviews on here) Worked with one of the internet sales rep, Mark. He was available when I arrived, not pushy and easy to talk to... the negotiating was primarily done with the sales manager though. So it was kind of working with multiple people. There were definitely good and bad overall experiences here. 1st flag was the dealership add ons. It was $$$. Of course you can negotiate some down, but BE PREPARED. It's something that's normal around here but outrageous at the same time. 2nd flag: Over the period of my initial visit then picking up the car out the door-- my credit was run THREE times! 2x during the deposit/initial loan application which Jip (finance) discussed. But, Then again when I picked up the car. The last time, I couldn't believe it. 3rd flag: Got a rejection of loan letter mailed to me due to incomplete information. No heads up. And trying to get help over the phone was frustrating. It ended up just being the vin# BUT had to go through hoops to try and get help over the phone. It was like if they weren't your original contacts, you weren't getting help. (I think you know you are. Mr P) 4th thing. When my car finally arrived, it was missing a couple accessories I originally signed off for. I was missing the crossbars (and mud-flaps which I didn't even think to look for). I felt like something was off. No one wanted to bring up the original listing or sales info to double check. They just said it doesn't exist anymore. Mark did make sure I got my missing bars.. but not from verifying more like "if you believe you were suppose to get them ". And Jip even mentioned the sticker price was close to $1k off. So they wrote a receipt for a $750 roof rack. Keep in mind roof racks are more expensive than crossbars so I thought maybe they are making up the difference in value. Naaah I got crossbars. $750 crossbars apparently (which doesn't exist). Although it's what I initially thought I was getting...The way they wrote up $750 of value on a $350 part didn't settle well with me. At the end of the day I got my car, with the original accessory I signed for (minus mudflaps). But buyer beware. Keep track of your original order especially if you're prepurchasing. I'll give a benefit of a doubt they aren't tracking everything to the T but either this is a huge Quality Assurance issue or someone is trying to take some revenue by leaving accessories off. Again. I love my car so far. And the purchasing was otherwise somewhat ok.
