NOT BEST DONUTS This was my first time here and it will be my last. Horrible customer service, how about a smile and maybe a good morning instead of just a blank, unfriendly, hurry up an order look on all of the girls faces working. Not one smile. The place is very small and I felt rushed. Not that there was a huge selection, but I still wanted to see what they had. Oh I see ham,cheese & jalapeño croissant... I point to it and tell the girl behind the counter, id like one of these.. then I order some donuts. We pay, get back to car and what is this! These are not the donuts I asked for??? My boyfriend goes back in to exchange my donuts, he returns with some other donuts, still not what I asked for. Not going back in , I'll take whatever they tossed in the bag.. and now oh no! Where is the ham, cheese & jalapeños at?? I feel cheated! My husband went and picked these up so I can't comment on service. The doughnuts seemed really thick so I was skeptical. I was so wrong. These doughnuts are so soft and fluffy like it melts in your mouth. Not too sweet. He didn't get there till after 10 on a Sunday and there was still a good selection of doughnuts. It's rare for me to have a doughnut, it's even more rare that a doughnut leaves an impression with me. I brought my kids in for a quick doughnut and I got one of their loaded breakfast croissants, but left the hot link off. I got the kids two Elmo doughnuts which they loved. Every time I go in, a cute gal named Ashley works there with her mom. I know they have to wake up so damn early to make the donuts, so I make sure when I go in I give a TIP. Yeah a TIP. The name of this establishment doesn't lie. Tucked away in the Walmart shopping center, you will literally find the best donuts you could possibly try. I've come here three times already but have unfortunately not been able to purchase the maple bacon donuts...maybe because they run out or they just don't make them on the days I go. Maple is my favorite flavor, so I've tried the buttermilk maple donut (crispy and dense!) and the regular sized maple donut .99(also a good density level). And I've tried their crossaintwiches! Which I split into two meals - breakfast and lunch. It was about $6 but it's packed with hot links, eggs, and bacon. Yum. This place is close to home for me. I usually would stop in from time to time to get my glazed or maple doughnut after work, but sometimes I like to live life on the edge and get a filled one or the bacon maple doughnut. And need I say anything with bacon added to it is just a great idea! They have other speciality doughnuts you don't see too often on your adverage doughnut shop menu which is pretty cool. They have an Apple Cinnamon Doughnut and a Strawberry Infused Dougnut which is pretty good as well. The hotlink sandwich is amazing! One of my favorites compared to other dougnit shops I've gotten them from, and it's very cheesy which I like and filling for a breakfast sandwich, I totally recommend if you like hotlinks and cheese! They're a little pricey when compared to other doughnut spots around Pittsburg, or even in other towns I have a favorite doughnut shop at, but here they offer things I haven't seen at many other doughnut spots, so I feel it's worth it....or am I just hungry? read more

I'm not a big donut fan of donuts but I recently visited this shop and reluctantly bought a dozen for the family. I recently rediscovered the twisted glaze donut and all of a sudden I'm a donutaholic. My inner fat kid is head over heels for the dense, sugary treat. I really wanted to have a love/hate relationship with this shop but after two visits I'm thinking of never coming back. Not because inhaling donuts packs on pounds but because they have unsanitary practices. I noticed that the lady who handles your donut order wears disposable gloves. No big deal, right? Well, she also accepts your payments with the same gloves and returns to handling the donuts without changing the gloves! They need to take a lesson from Subway a few doors down and dispose the gloves after each order. The first visit I gave it the benefit of the doubt but after my second visit, its hard to turn a cheek and act like its not happening. These donuts are just sooo good so if you don't mind a little bit of nasty with your carb overload then by all means, this is your spot. I'm not gonna lie, I may find myself rationalizing with myself to eat here again, they are that yummy. One last thing, they do accept debit cards but charge about 75 cents for the transaction (don't get me started on this subject). I found that the selection was robust. I think their BETTER than Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts. Their just the right amount of sweetness, and their not small either. ...(those plain glazed French Donuts? Omg sooo good!! They just about melt in your mouth!) They remind me of those "old skool" Donuts from back in the day - the ones with a lot if glaze and toppings. The name of this donut place says it all! Sometimes I get skeptical with places that have adjectives in their title, but this location really lives up to their name. My family loves their maple custard donuts. They aren't skimpy and fill a lot of custard into their donuts. My favorite is their maple bars. On occasion, they will have buttermilk donuts. They are topped with glazed, chocolate, or maple. They are crunchy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. It tastes best when it's fresh out of the oven. The buttermilk donut satisfies and I can't finish it in one sitting. So I may reheat it at home and it still tastes delicious. Service wise, everyone seems very attentive and friendly. I will definitely come back again for a donut fix. 4 stars, because sometimes there's a tan skinned, chubby cashier that doesn't seem happy to be there. Most of the time they are fresh at 7 am when I go in but once or twice it seemed like the donuts were a couple hours old which is a bummer because everyone can tell when they are older ones. First time here! We're always looking for a good local donut shop. I'd say this is the best one so far in the Antioch/ Pittsburg area. We got there a little late (for a donut shop) around 10am and there was a line! I was worried there wouldn't be any good donuts left, but I was pleasantly surprised! The donuts were FULL & STOCKED UP! They had specialty donuts and fun ones for the kids. Check out the pictures. Customer service was great & friendly.
