Solid donut spot that I'd go back to. Sunshine 2 Donuts 6730 Lone Tree Wy, Brentwood, CA 94513 They had a good variety of donuts available, even slightly later into the morning. I didn't see that they had anything super unique, but what they lacked in uniqueness they made up for in quality. The donuts were about average-sized, not very greasy, soft and fluffy. Favorite ones I tried were the crumb and maple. The place itself was clean and spacious. I liked how they had some good drink options too. I opted for their Vietnamese iced coffee, which wasn't too bad actually. It probably could've used a little more condensed milk IMO. Customer service was fine. The lady who helped me seemed nice and I was in-and-out in a few minutes. read more

Always playing with the prices. Extra if your donut has sprinkles on it? Charged for the donuts I ordered but they didnt put 1 in. Ordered regular ham and cheese croissant but charged the jalapeño price. You have to watch how they ring you up. Its exhausting going here. Forget this place and find another. Its unfortunate because the donuts aren't half bad. read more

Looking for donut shops in Brentwood and found this place through Yelp. We are new in the neighborhood and it's only a short drive from our house. Sunshine 2 has a lot of variety of donuts. They look fresh in the morning. A couple is working and they seem to be nice and friendly. We had their apple fritter, crumbs, chocolate, and sugar twists. They're soft and delicious with coffee. There are a couple of tables and chairs for dining in. We will try some of their donuts once we come back. On our first trip or visit, we enjoyed their donuts. read more

We ordered 3 dozen donuts and 5 dozen donut holes for our Graduation party. I dropped off the sprinkles and pictures of the design I wanted and they were able to match it beautifully. Everyone loved them! I bought edible pink shimmer/ glitter spray for the donut holes. Those were gobbled up so fast! visit for the first time and will come back, give them a try! really friendly and sweet people, great service and cute interior. id say a very pretty and good variety of donuts, they seem to have very good donut presentation and stay ontop of trends too as well as provide samples the lady up front let me try a very yummy banana fritter type donut. points for staying ontop of the banana flavor trend for pastries and for creativity. i ended up getting a delicious apple fritter, good size taste and crunch. ill come back for more bites ahah. read more

This is why you shouldn't pay tips ahead of service!! They got my order wrong so I went back to get it. When l got there, the younger of the two older women spoke to me with her back turned cleaning the coffee machine and never turned around to address the problem. Hella RUDE like I was bothering her. The whole interaction was her talking to me with her back turned then walked off. And yeah, they took my sandwich with one bite, and fix it up. Instead of throwing the whole thing away, they contaminated the food area. Spreading my sickness around. This is dangerous. Not coming back. read more

Sunshine 2 Donuts have great glazed donuts and even better curlers which I love the best. Every time I crave some curlers, Sunshine 2 Donuts always comes in mind. I once had their breakfast sandwich (ham croissant if I remember) and it was good as well. read more

Every donut I've had has been fresh and delicious and the croissants are large, flaky and scrumptious. They are great for making sandwiches. Coffees and mocha are decent. The women that work here have always been very nice and convivial. read more

Fantastic service on a Saturday morning. First time here, interior is beautiful. Had a croissant breakfast sandwich and it was lovely. Came with 2 free donut holes to my surprise! Lots of variety of donuts, and plenty options to choose from! Even after a revolving door of customers, staff keeps the glass case full. Their self serve coffee station looks great. First thing I ask all bakery places "Does it have egg or milk in it?" When they told me none of their delicious donuts do.... I felt my eyes get big and didn't want to turn into "COOKIE MONSTER" lol. I haven't had a donut in almost a year. I barely made it to my car after thanking God for such a sweet treat and gave thanks and bit into my sprinkled donut with a feeling of success, joy and love. Ok Now this spot is the Jewel of finds. I had their Maple bar with Bacon bits on top...OMG this was a revelation! The sweetness from the Maple and the saltiness from the Bacon is the perfect combo! Was craving for donuts so decided to check out what's around my friend's house. Found this little mom & pop place and decided to give them a try. I think we came close to their closing time, maybe another 30 mins or so. The person behind the counter just want to get rid of all the donuts. We wanted half a dozen donuts and a dozen donuts holes, we ended up got dozen donuts and little bit more than dozen donut holes. She was so sweet and kind. I don't know if they do that, but I really don't mind. Maybe it was our lucky day. Donuts were so fresh and good. I love their donut holes. Normally you will only get the glazed one. but with theirs, they have it with sugar, sprinkles, and glazed. The customer service has not been the best I'll say due to the language barrier. But the donuts are really good. I had been looking for a donut shop in the area finally found one that I like. The donuts are light and airy, not doughy at all. I love the variety of donuts, especially the donut holes sprinkle, original and cinnamon sugar. I have not had an old fashion blueberry donut since I was a child I had to call my dad to tell him. Not many places make Blueberry and strawberry donuts in old fashion and cake donuts. read more

These donuts are delicious freshly baked every morning if you can get here early enough to get the maple bacon bar you will hooked everything taste better with bacon. I was reading the reviews yes the older lady does not speak English well but she is very nice she doesn't understand what you're saying she will go get her daughter for help that's not a problem for me .. And so what if they charge $.50 to slide your credit card it's called a service fee everywhere you go it CONVENIENT to slide your card they are doing US service that's why it's called a service\ convenience fee if you go to the ATM they are gonna charge you more than $.50 to GET YOUR OWN MONEY OUT depending on where you go the restaurants do it you don't complain when paying that fee the bank is going to charge you a higher service fee for you to slide your card EVERYWHERE for EVERYTHING so quit complaining or just bring cash. read more

Sunshine Donuts shop is immaculate,... and the variety of donuts are numerous. The self-serve coffee bar offers a house blend that is five star. My only negative is that their fear factor index is a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest. The staff is very edgy around donut lovers that don't seem to come from the surrounding communities and thus are not user-friendly all of the time . read more

This is the best donut shop! Donuts are made fresh and tasty! We called on New Years Day morning just wondering if they would be open as we had promised our grandkids donuts. And they were! When we went in at around 6 AM, there were the owners smiling and saying Happy New Year! This will definitely be our donut shop from now on! The first thing my husband said was definitely better than Krispy Kreme. he always gets the custard filled with chocolate glazed, and he was saying how heavy it was because it had so much filling... Just the opposite of Krispy Kreme where sometimes she can't even find the filling. Love this place! read more

Wow... nice airy and fluffy donuts. They are never dense which is what I like. Just be sure to get here early or your favorites might be gone. We've only had their donuts and not their breakfast sandwiches. One con would be that they use styrofoam cups for their coffee, so I don't know if they've already switched to paper cups which everyone else is doing, but I overlooked that since I just end up getting my coffee from home or from somewhere else. They've got a good variety of donuts which is nice, and they are all tasty with the right amount of sugar coating... but most importantly, they are airy and light, at least when we get them. The place is a good size if you want to dine-in and the parking lot is vast and certainly not an issue. Staff are always welcoming and attentive when we visit which is nice. read more

I come here at least once a week for my Seminary class that I teach early in the mornings. I recently came to buy some donuts and the sweet Owner told me that the week before she had overcharged me and gave me a credit for the amount that she overcharged, which was very nominal. Make sure you check your receipts. My husband was there today and because he didn't have his glasses he asked if one of them could put his credit card in for him. Once he got home he saw they submitted a large tip for themselves without asking him. He would have given a tip but not the amount they submitted. Terrible to take advantage of a senior citizen. read more

There was only one person working and we were the only customers that day when we came by. I think if they advertise that they will warm up their donuts for this location then a lot more customers will come by but because of the price and them being cold looks like they lost their people. BUT if you're looking for a sweet treat then this may be the place for you! Give it a chance like I did, everything is always worth trying!

And if you wish to try more of a gourmet coffee, I highly recommend "Big House Beans" which is just a couple doors down. After placing our order, our bagel is ready in about 6-7 minutes. I do have to say that this thing is huge and can easily feed two people. The bagel was absolutely delicious, hearty, and made to perfection. The fillings also hit the spot as this kept my lady and I full for several hours after consuming this. All in all, "Willy's Bagels & Blends" was a great choice and a business that I highly recommend. They are open as early as 6:00am (seven days a week) while closing by 3:00pm. Great service, excellent prices, and yummy bagels. My rating, a unanimous five stars.
