I live very close to this location and I love their donuts. They're always so soft fresh and they taste so good. My favorite is the jelly donut with powdered sugar with raspberry or lemon. For as about as long I have lived in Pittsburg, this mom and pop shop has been here. It's been here to satisfy the needs of me and my family, and many others for that length. I love the location of this place. It's in a lot where there's a Safeway, a fast food spot, couple of restaurants, cheaper end store, a salon, etc. Parking right in front of the donut shop is only for 30 minutes long. That should be ample time to order and get what you want unless you're dining in, and/or you are gonna visit the other shops. Now, if that's the case, there's plenty of other parking around. I have never seen the lot complete full too. Most of the time, I come here extra early. I'm here at around 5-5:30am ordering breakfast, and on special occasions, I order about three dozen donuts. I have only seen one person working. I'm sure there's more. But back to the man I always see. KIND MAN. FUNNY MAN. Swift and proficient! He's peppy for how early it is too. Note: 3 dozen donuts plus two extra donuts cost $32 flat. Okay they got coffee, milk, soda, candy, cinnamon rolls, and the like. For donuts, we got glaze, sugar, maple, sprinkles, chocolate, donut holes, old fashioned, and then some. Later in the day, the donuts taste good. BUT the best time is to get them as soon as they open. A freshly made sugar donut is so soft and warm and delightful! Wonderful establishment! i come here whenever my family and i crave donuts, and let me put you on this!!! ive never had a low quality donut from here, everyone at my house loves the ice cream as well. theres quite a big selection of donuts along with ice cream. i mostly come here for donuts but the ice cream is also just delicious! the workers are very friendly! ive been coming here for years and its just lovely here. the inside could use a bit more decorations, but it could be so much worse. my little sister always picks out a drink whenever i bring her, she loves her apple juice! she once said it was the best tasting apple juice, and let me say, i fully agree with her! four stars, could be a five but like i said, the inside could use more decor. other than that, i love it here! i fully recommend if you live nearby or after you shop at safeway. read more

Great apple fritter. I think they have one of the best. I also like they have two sizes: small and regular, although the regular is still smaller than apple fritters from other places . They're pricier than other donut shops and the donuts are quite a bit smaller. I had the ham cheese egg croissant which I thought was good too. Overall they're solid, not overly greasy, but I think their prices are too high especially for how small they are. read more

I tried Mom's today for the first time. I was very disappointed with the food. The girl who helped me was terrific My Chocolate Cruller was actually wet inside ??? My Old Fashioned tasted great but was, like the other two I got, about 1/2 the size of those from my favorite doughnut shop, Doughnut Time in El Cerrito. I could've sworn I wrote a review for this place a long time ago. My favorite donut shop! I used to live in Bay Point and my mom and I would always go to Mom's donuts. Now I live in antioch. When my mom works noc shift at the hospital, she drops by Mom's Donuts on the way home and I get more excited about seeing the pink box full of doughy goodness on the kitchen table than christmas presents! I love this place! Their donuts are nice and soft with all the varieties a donut shop typically has. Nothing out of the ordinary with this place, no special flavors like Maple Bacon or anything...just good ol fashioned donuts! read more

Got a ham and cheese croissant ($3.30) and an apple fritter ($2) and both were very tasty. Croissant was flaky, ham had very good flavor, dough wasn't greasy or fatty as some meat croissants can be. Apple fritter was very good, not overly sweet and apples were cooked just right. The shop has that 1980s/90s doughnut shop feel about it, I really enjoy that and I love supporting local mom pop retailers. The lady that helped me I assume owner/manager was very sweet; I highly recommend this place. read more
