I love this Big Red lady. Not sure why she's "big" because Dianna is a tall slender lady. I hired Best DVD Solutions and it was a great choice! I decided to use a tape converted to DVD against 2 vendors and Best DVD won hands down. The other vendor had a nice store front and multiple employees and still lost in quality. I guess they dont care or they just are not as good, I dont know.......anyways.... +4 Star: 1. I looked up online the video equipment she uses and they appear to cost hundreds of dollars. I assume this means, they are professional equipment, but I am unsure. They did a good job though. 2. Her pricing is extremely reasonable. Although there are cheaper alternatives out there, I hope she continues with her competitive pricing. 3. From what I can tell, Big Red really enjoys her work.....rather than some punk kid hire to do the job. I always like those who actually enjoy what they do. 4. The video quality turned out simply amazing. Big Red gave me some warnings though on some possible issues that may result due to such an old tape, but as a layman or a beginner in videography I do not see the things she sees.....I guess that is a good thing. But I appreciate a professional like her educating me. 5. She is far from me, but at least I know where my important media is being held and processed rather than having it shipped somewhere. -1 Star: 1. Although the job I later gave her was going to cost more, she later told me she had to charge me more. Which I agreed to and understood. Hey, these things happen. No worries. However, I have to give a negative one star, because I would prefer a better/more thorough pricing evaluation initially and then stick to the initial price. Again, I appreciate her competitive pricing. 2. Its a little off putting that she does not have a true store front, but I guess that saves the customer money so I am not too bothered by this. Dianna is amazing! I called her just yesterday to see if she could convert 6 vhs home videos to DVD to surprise my mom for Christmas. I honestly thought it was a long shot since Christmas is only a few days away. Not only did she get them all done in less than 24 hours, her prices were lower than any other place around south OC! I'm so glad I found her. For years I have Kodak slides I took on my Nikon camera that I wanted to transfer to .tif files on my computer, but never knew where to find a good affordable place until I found her on Yelp. I had 36 slides that I took in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1988 and she did a great job converting all of them to .tif files on a DVD. Plus I also have a 28-year-old VHS videocassette that I also needed to transfer to DVD. She did warn due to the age that it may be a problem, but no fear, she did a great job. I will definitely go back to her to finish all of the slides I took in Russia and Ukraine during my two week visit to the former Soviet Union in 1988. read more

She was very considerate of the amount of footage I brought her (83 VHS, Hi8 video, and 8mm reels combined) and made me feel comfortable to bring these to her in batches for affordability. I had 9 reels of 8mm film to convert to DVD from my Dad's home movies of our childhood. Obviously very precious materials. I did not have any experience with converting film to DVD so I spent a good amount of time researching service providers and their technologies. I wanted to use the best transfer method I could find. One vendor commented that the best method is the system used by Dianna. I am very happy that Dianna did the transfer. She was very careful in performing the work. I found Dianna online amongst several others who perform the same type of conversions and I had planned to call them all for a comparison on rates. I called Dianna first though and after speaking with her, the price was right and I somehow felt a confidence in her. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. I felt like she truly cared about the preservation of my video. I never even called one other service and decided to have her convert my VHS of old 8mm reel to reels.
