Ernie refinished an original 50's cast iron bathtub for me this summer. It had been painted one…read moretime and was peeling and pretty ugly. I was quoted a price for stripping old finish off and buffing/polishing the tub back to life. Unfortunately, when it was stripped it exposed some pitting, staining and low places that could not be buffed out. Ernie then decided it would have to be refinished with his patching & painting process and I ended up with a beautiful tub that seems extremely durable (5 year warranty) and looks great. I was extremely pleased with his patient explanations and his over the top effort to save me money and still provide me with his unique refinishing process. I picked these up and didn't notice they weren't done as they were put in storage until I got my floor done. I looked and realized this and sent an email. He asked me to send pics of chairs and never heard back. I paid about $1,000 and provided fabric. Just feel I was given a run around when they were asked if they could correct the mistake. It's upsetting but will find another upholsterer.
