Will be going somewhere else. i have gone about 5 times now and have had a bad experience every time. I tried to give them a ben of the doubt but it hasn't gotten better. The techs I've gotten are lazy with their work and try to overprice nails that are crap. I just got my nails done and there's nail polish all over my fingers. chunks missing out of the acryli, all of them are crooked. The filthiest nail salon I've ever been in. I almost walked out. I cringed at putting my bag down. They didn't appear to be using clean instruments. The nail service itself was also just bad. I did a gel manicure, and they ONLY did polish. They left hangnails and did zero shaping. My nails are super jacked, and I'll need to do a lot of shaping on my own. I would've asked for them to fix it, but they double booked my time slot and someone had been waiting 1/2 hour. I will NEVER go back and caution others. read more

i have never written a negative review in my life but wish i would have never stopped in this place.. stopped in for a quick pedicure and they were all very nice but it's probably the filthiest salon i've ever been in & i don't even expect much.. they don't use liners for the pedicure bowls which isn't an indiana law so fine but i sat next to three ladies and they were all done before me, their bowls were NEVER cleaned out.. he used a nail cleaning brush that look like it had seen its days on my toes and clean it off by putting it in my dirty water that he dunked the "cheese grater" gunk in & put it DIRECTLY back in his pedicure caddy along with the cuticle pushed he wiped off with his glove. which let's say he took the whole caddy to the back for those things to be sterilized.. they still touched everything else in that basket that they are reusing on every single customer. it's not even 12 hours later and my feet are extremely itchy which is why i decided to leave a review. 70$ and don't get my wrong the polish looks good, but i will never ever, ever ever be going back here. read more

I paid $85 for Gel X nails that look like a 5 year old did them. Showed the lady an inspo pic and she told me she could do it, would have rather she said she couldn't. She also didn't file any of them to match, they're all different shapes and sizes. She didn't file under them so all the glue is just caked under my nails and stuck to my skin. She also didn't push my cuticles up or even trim them. Asked for them to be shorter and she told me they were already very short. Very disappointed and will not be going back. Overall I would give this location a 3.5 stars because Anna, my nail tech was great. We made an appointment but had to wait nearly 25 minutes after. Also, they are trying to be fancy with the lighting and some decor, but the polish area seemed a bit low end with paint all over. They don't use pedicure tub liners, so I'm not sure how clean it is. It appears they spray down the bowl and then rinse it. Not sure how it cleans the circulating bubble part. Overall not bad for the price. Only $27 for a regular pedicure. read more

I went on a Saturday for gel nails. I told the lady she didn't do my top coat. She said I was done. 4 hours later I had a chip while driving my car. 6 hours later another! 2 days later 2 chips with nail tears doing average things. They fixed it, and I told him I didn't have a top coat. He said it looked like I did so I'm done. 1 week later 2 nails start splitting down the middle. (Polish). I won't go back The time before, the tech kept eating (I could see her) which is fine. She didn't wash her hands after eating! I finally asked her to. Yuck! read more

I used to love this place. I loved it so much I made an appointment for some of my bridesmaids and I to get our nails done the day before my wedding. They were running slightly behind and they kept trying to separate the 3 of us. I expected them to be able to get us all done at the same time, but that was not the case. We were not given the gel color options when we arrived and lost time choosing a color because we had picked up the color changing polish colors. I got a regular pedicure and it was smudged by the end of the next day (AKA my wedding day). They were understanding about redoing my design on my nails when it did not come out as I had asked, but my nail tech did not understand much English making him hard to communicate with (the nail tech next to him had to explain what I was asking for). He also forgot to put the clear coat of polish on my one thumbnail. I've never had such a bad experience getting my nails done, and given that it was for my wedding, I was unnecessarily stressed. I had to get the top coat fixed at my hair salon (who were thankfully angels). My gel polish held up worse than usual - it was peeling off by the end of the week while I was on my minimoon. I just can't bring myself to go back here after this terrible experience. Save yourself some stress and go elsewhere. read more

I've heard good things about this nail salon, so I decided to give it a try. I called before I went and was told no problem walking in for a pedicure and nail fill. So, I arrived at 3 pm on a Saturday and noticed the sign on the door saying CASH only on Saturdays. That would have been helpful to know before I drove there. I walked down to Martins and used the 1st Source Bank ATM which involves fees if you're not a customer, otherwise it was fine. Waited a few minutes after returning to the salon and was told someone could do my pedicure. A friendly guy walked me back to the pedicure chairs and told me to have a seat. He adjusted my massage controller and then grabbed a can of Scrubbing Bubbles and sprayed it into the foot bath. No liner used, no actual scrubbing either. Just a quick rinse and started filling the bowl with hot water for my feet. After adjusting the temperature, he got on with the pedicure. I chose the deluxe option for $35 which included sea salt, massage and I guess hot towel wrap. Overall he did a good job. The polish job was fair... sort of messy and OPI polish seemed thinned out. He was pleasant enough though. Wore a face mask and gloves which I appreciated during these COVID times. Next was my nail fill. This was done by a young lady who was friendly and took her time. I think my nails looked nice but it took much longer than I expected. I walked out at 5:53 pm right before they closed. My fingers ached as well... she was pretty rough on my cuticles with the nipper and hand file. The charge for my fill was $45 which I think is a bit expensive. I just had a new set done 3 weeks ago for the same price. I realize my review is sort of all over the place but I have to point out a serious thing which is why I won't return. I never saw the nail instruments cleaned. They didn't come from a sterilized package nor were they wiped with alcohol. That's a big deal to me, but if they did do it... it's not an obvious thing for sure. I'll just go back to my regular place. It feels safer, cleaner and same pricing . read more

I went in to get my nails done, acrylics, and it was ok. I went in for fills a few weeks later, and they were terrible. The tech spent most of the time on the phone talking to someone. He missed a step that I had to remind him. Then when he finished, they just looked clunky. I shouldn't have paid for them, but I didn't want a fuss. I couldn't pick anything up...it was awful. I went back in to have them taken off. Had a different tech. She just kept commenting on the thickness. She took off the nails, but then gouged my nail. My nails are so weak, I have to keep them cut very short. While they've been growing out, the sides have torn lower than the quick. I stopped getting pedis there before that, because you can only get gel polish. Never going back there! read more

I've never left a yelp review before but was dissatisfied with my service from this nail salon. I went in on 5/2/2022 to receive dip powder on my nails for a wedding I'm attending soon. By the time I woke up this morning on 5/3/2022, multiple of my nails are chipping and they just look terrible. They more than likely wont even last until the upcoming wedding. I don't get my nails done often but out of convenience, I usually just walk into this establishment and every time I leave, I remember why I don't go there. They've never done a great job on my nails over the 5-10 times I been there and this time was no exception. I paid $60 and left a $12 tip and I received an inferior result. I was told after I sat in the chair and pedicures began that it is only gel polish and if I wanted a color that it was going to be a additional cost for gel application and nail polish on top of the cost of pedicure. After three times asking to have them trimmed and her responding "they short" I just left. I wasn't about to argue about it and I wasn't going to continue without the trim.. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I worked here for maybe 1-2 months and was disgusted by how unsanitary it is! I was told to just spray my implements with alcohol and it will kill everything!!! My mind was blown and that was a huge red flag for me. Other employees would get mad because I "took" too long but I always wanted my client to feel like they were being properly taken care of instead of rushing them in and out like others typically do. The ones in charge never took the time to show me around or even introduce themselves. Very unwelcoming and it's so uncomfortable when the Vietnamese ladies are speaking in their language to each other and having absolutely no shame STARING at you. The worst place I ever worked at!!! Looks can be deceiving. We called three days in advance to book appointments for young girls (ages 10-11) and were told the charge for their mani/pedi services would be $55 only to then be hoodwinked by the business into a $70 charge. Upcharges they claim because they "only" use gel nail polish which added on an additional $10. The website pictures show a full display of polish on site. When you arrive however, there is not a single bottle of regular polish. Your only option is to use their overpriced gel or BUY their bottles of polish, they weren't even high end brands. This place is ridiculously overpriced. We live outside of Chicago and have never paid $70 for a basic manicure/pedicure service. Kids didn't get any special towel therapy or massage, they were done with the manicures in about 12 minutes each! They also only take cash on Saturday????? You can buy their gift cards with credit, but all other services require cash. Highly suspect. The worst customer service. We will see how long this lasts, but all the other reviews seem to make me expect very little. read more

I made a appointment with Tina first she was late getting then when I got in her chair she act like she didn't want to service me. I have to admit my toes did need a lot but she made it super obvious from the start she didn't want to help me. After finding out the work I needed would be a while she told me she didn't have time she had an appointment shortl. so what about me an my appointment, I felt supper uncomfortable after that. I got my nails done there twice and a pedi once. First time I went there I loved my nails. But when i got a pedicure, she was constantly trying to make me pay more when i was polite and told her i just wanted a regular pedi, then she didn't say a single word after. Then I went in to get my nails redone, they were okay. You could see white spots where she didn't put shellac. Few weeks later I went, and i called previously to set an appointment and said i wanted a SOAK OFF, since i had tips added on. When i sat down, i reminded her i wanted a soak off and i would keep my natural nails long. Instead of doing a soak off, she took a unused acrylic nail, and pryed the tips off instead of doing a soak off. It was so painful. She ripped my nails off and then because of how badly looked I ended up getting gel. Not even a week later the gel was already peeling off. I called back and told them that I was unhappy and i wanted them completely redone, and they said they would only redo the ones that chipped. NEVER went back, and I never will.
