If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The vibe of the salon was not what I was expecting at all. I requested a gel pedicure for my service. They didn't have any sanitation stuff around the pedicure bowls and they literally had me sitting at a manicure chair to get my gel polish painted on. On top of it they didn't clean the bowl I just had my feet in for another customer, and my pinkie toe has been tingling. I called to see if i can get a refund and they said for me to just soak my foot in warm water; no empathy or anything. My nails are always straight, even, thin (but not too thin), usually pretty smooth, and the shellac almost never bubbles. They really do care about perfection even though they do it in a surprisingly short period of time. Selection - They have an enormous variety of Shellac colors and powders: ombré, filigree, holographic, "furry", you name it. They are also great at design work. Customer service - These guys are so friendly and they aren't faking it. They always make conversation and remember who I am/what I do, etc. They always ask about my preference on length, shape etc. They don't just assume even though I've been going there a while, but they do remember what I've done in the past. I used to love this place, but after my most recent visit I'm kind of disgusted. My overall experience was quite poor, sadly. I was greeted with a less than pleasant attitude and nearly scoffed at for bringing my own polish. I had made an appointment for a single pedicure, because normally this salon is packed on Saturdays. Today was not the case. I was seated early, which was nice. My pedicure water was cold, even after asking the technician to adjust the temperature. The padding in the massage chair is completely worn out, so the seat was really uncomfortable. During my pedi, the girl was really aggressive with the pumice stone scrub - which looked less than clean to begin with. I'm no expert, but you don't need to scrub the arch of my foot. The skin there is pretty soft as it is, thanks. She was scrubbing everywhere but the places that needed it, so I finally just asked her to stop. Next up, massage. Again overly aggressive, digging her fingertips into my calf and down my shin. Eventually she rubbed so much/hard the lotion had entirely disappeared and it was rubber glove on skin. Not pleasant. Again, had to ask her to stop. Shortly after that she painted my toenails. No complaints. Then, escorted me to the drying area. GROSS. The floors need a serious deep cleaning and I was hesitant to walk barefoot across them. I sat at the drying station, and with nothing more to do started looking around. This is worst part of my review. I was absolutely mortified by the state of the carpet, and the corner of the salon near the drying area. Absolutely disgusting, obvious mold, and a chunk of the wall rotted away. The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed anytime recently, there is no way that the level of gunk on it came from the two hours they'd been open for the day. Never again will I return. Sorry, but there are much better salons in the area that are well kept and much cleaner than this. read more

They were able to get us both in at the same time (we had been turned away from another salon prior to coming here, even though they didn't have a single client in the salon and we had been there several times before). We selected to "Top Pedicure" and it's worth it! My girl gave a good massage, my friends guy gave a GREAT massage (next time, I'm going to ask for him instead). They play music which is great! They are very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that my water was ice cold and I had to ask them twice to warm it up :( I don't like being high maintenance or drawing attention to myself so my friend asked for me the second time. I have been looking for a new nail place for a while. I've read the reviews and thought I would give this place a chance. My husband and I had stopped in for some pedicures. They were pretty busy so we were asked to come back. We scheduled appointment for the same day. We came back and both got pedicures and manicures. I don't know who our technicians were but they were great. This is the best foot massage I have ever had with a pedicure. They took the time to ask if I was comfortable, if it hurt, if I needed more or less. They really asked questions and listen to what I had to say. I moved onto my manicure while my feet were drying. This again was by far the best manicure I have ever had. I have recently quit chewing on my nails so my nails are small and brittle. My technician did a great job at listening to what I said and how I have had bad experiences with manicures. My nails are short just like I like them. I hope when I go back to fill them that they will have lasted two weeks. I will update my review then. I called to see if they could get me in on a weekday. The woman who answered said yes they could squeeze me in at 6:30 and that they closed at 7:30. I was a little surprised that they agreed since I was getting a pedicure (shellac) and a manicure (dip). I showed up at 6:30 and told the woman what I was there for. She seemed annoyed but agreed to squeeze me in. They stared soaking my dip off which was maroon and soaking my feet. She told me that they couldn't do French on my toes because I had a bruise on my big toe so I switched colors. I picked a light pink but was worried how pink it would be on me. Sometimes the sample colors fade. She said that is was not really pink. The gentleman that was working on my toes was able to make the French tip work and did a wonderful job. I was then sent over to another gentleman to get my dip removed and redone. He was in a hurry so he used the dremel to grind the remainder of the dip off. I don't typically allow this because my nails are super thin which is why I get the dip. I allowed it this time because I felt pressured about the time. He did a rush job and my nails weren't even shaped the same and the dip was different colors. I left feeling frustrated and determined to schedule better next time. Within less than 24 hours one of my nails broke in the center. I went in right away to show the owner and she said it would be a forty five minute wait to fix. I decided to come back the next day because I had a conflict. By the time I returned the next day I had three more broken nails. The last set lasted me three weeks. She had the same gentleman help me and he once again tried to use the dremel. It hurt so I made him stop. He got frustrated and left me to sit until the owner could help me. I realized my nails (dip) was breaking because he filed them to thin with the dremel. I spoke with the owner and she agreed to put an extra coat on. It was an okay job but the colors still didn't match and she didn't make them even. She charged me $5 and didn't apologize for the fact that her employee filed my nails so thin that it would most likely take months to grow out the damage. I was really excited and was going to post a positive review after my first appointment but the bad service I just received totally negated that. My thumb nail broke a day after the repair work was done and I didn't have the patience to go back. I currently have a bandaid on it until I can find a new place. Crystil read more

I was recommended to this nail salon from a coworker. I am extremely picky with how my nails look. I'm pretty much seeking for perfection at all times and will continue to look for a salon that will provide that for me. As far as this nail salon it's looks are average, nothing fancy, but is kept clean. The nail techs speak good enough english(I point this out because I have been to places where their English is so broken, I've had to leave. It's fairly easy for me to understand majority of the time because my mom is Filipino & has an accent). Anyways, my first visit with was about a 1.5 weeks ago I went in, was immediately greeted and then I started to look at the polish. After some time of going back and forth I was offered to look at their collection of shellac colors. I've never gotten shellac and figured why not. Finally chose a beautiful vampy red. I had them put on a new set because the previous set was HORRIBLY done, glue under nails/ two broken nails(I've never had this issue), just plain yucky. I don't like the way she was talking my nails off, she tried to be as gentle as possible I could tell but it hurt like a mother f'er. She was literally just cutting it off and slipping a nail under the acrylic and pulling it off of my natural nails. Not cool. Anyways, after that everything was perfect. She gave me guidance as to each step that she was doing. This isn't my first time getting my nails done, but it was nice to have her explain her methods. My nails are shaped EXACTLY how I love them to be. I usually go home and reshape my nails because typically it isn't shaped the way I like them to be. After all this, I do recommend this place. But he left as soon as another customer came in (I had an appointment). He left her a bit later as well. The tech that took over wasn't as good. The shellac was very messy and the acrylic was thick. I used to go here consistently a couple years ago and tried to go back recently. I got a full set and it was average, not much attention to detail at all and the didn't do all the steps that are typically done for a full set like trimming my natural nails. I get off work around 5:30 and I was thrilled they were open until 7pm so that I could stop by on my way home for a fill. I arrived around 6 and they told me, quite rudely, that they are closed although the open sign was on, the door wide open, and not a single customer inside. I tried to go again the next day, same thing happened. The third day I called before hand at 5:45 and they told me they were closed. There are better salons in town that do better work and are much kinder, I wouldn't go here. Go to Tinas nails in Stanwood or diva nails in smokey point. read more
