They got me in as a walk in after I waited for 45 min which I was ok with. When I came back though the whole place smelled like a poorly ventilated bathroom. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were not friendly to me or the other customer there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a dip manicure and sanitary measures were ignored and the work was poorly executed. They put the polish on too thick and hurt my cuticles when they sanded everything down. It cost $48 which was reasonable for that service in general but I will not be back. Either their prices are very misleading or they purposely overcharge people. I asked for a basic manicure & pedicure which is listed as a $35 package on their website (no prices are displayed on their paper sign in sheets). They suggested I upgrade to gel polish for longer lasting color which she said was $13 and I agreed to do so only on my hands. In theory the total should have been around $50 with tax but when I went to pay they told me it would be $72. I was confused so I clarified that I only upgraded to gel on my hands and she assured me it was $35 for the pedicure and $24 + $13 for the manicure with the gel upgrade. This still didn't seem right because even if I had upgraded both the pedicure and the manicure based on their online prices that still should have only been $35 + $25. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just paid what they were charging me, despite one of my fingers bleeding during the manicure and having to ask them to fix a few nails. Safe to say I will not be going back, their pricing overall just seemed very misleading and exploitative! read more

came here to get a simple french tip full set and only wanted regular paint. they were struggling with the french tips and kept saying if i would've gotten gel it would've been easier. I went in for a pedicure because my regular place wasn't answering the phone. Their prices are higher than the competitor, with a shellac basic pedicure costing $43. I opted for the traditional polish pedicure which was $30. I hardly got to soak my feet and the technician was done with my pedi in about 15 minutes. It's a great place if you want to get in and out quickly, but the relaxation was lacking. She was very quick and not gentle. Cleanliness seemed good. I simply called to see if they had time to fix a horrible acrylic set I had received from a salon in the area. I offered to pay for a whole new set if need be, but the man answering the phone was rude, and so incredibly off putting that had an appointment been available, I wouldn't have gone. After 6 years of going to this spot, today's service was so terrible I had to leave a review. Not only did the "manicurist" do a horrible job with Polish, she also grinded my wife's toes nails down so much they were uneven. She also forgot to add the shellac top coat on all the nails as you can see in the picture. I politely brought this up to the cashiers attention. A manager came over to see for herself and chuckled a few times, I couldn't understand what she was saying though. They offered to redo it but there was no way this could be fixed. I then said I don't want to pay for the service, and the manger quickly and sternly replied with " if you don't pay, then we won't fix." Absolutely in love with this salon. They were the only ones open on a Sunday with good reviews. I'm diabetic and Tom was great with my feet I recommend him highly he was gentle but did the job right ensuring my nails were painted Correctly. I had a full set put on and Lynn was fantastic. I had a cut along my thumb (my fault) she avoided it and didn't even cut me like almost every salon does. I recommend Lynn and Tom if you are diabetic or have sensitive skin. The wait to get your nails done as a walk in can be a bit lengthy, BUT it's because they don't over book themselves. They will spend as much time is necessary to get your nails perfect. This "spa" is not my cup of tea, and I won't be coming back. It's quite cold inside, to start off, and I saw heaters but they weren't running. I'm not sure what the reason is for it being so cold in there but even with a jacket and sweater I was cold. Not a pleasant feeling. My nail tech was sloppy and harsh, working WAY too fast cutting off my cuticles and giving me a manicure. She cut my hand open at the nail and it was bleeding! While I would give some sort of leniency if the shop was busy, there was absolutely nobody waiting. Sure, maybe she had lunch to get to (this is complete extrapolation), but I would have waited or gone somewhere else rather than have scissors chopping aggressively at my fingers. The nail paint was sloppy and didn't cover my nails. It's uneven and there are straight up spots with not enough coverage. There were bubbles. It is day three and my shellac is showing heavy wear and I have a chip. Eek. I'm going back to my normal salon! read more

HORRIBLE SERIVE! BEYOND IRRITATED AND NEVER COMING BACK. Came in just a little bit ago. The lady glued on the nails and I told her I wanted them long. Through-out her filing my nails I kept telling her that it's too short. She ignored me and kept going about her work claiming she could "fix them later". Finally she was done filing them and I told her it looks nothing like the picture I showed her, and told her to redo them, by then she was irritated at me cause I wasn't happy with them and started ripping off the nails and ripped my nail off to point it started bleeding. I pulled away and said "ow" her response was "oh I hurt you?"... NO SHIT?!?! She told me "then go to the other lady" by then I was crying and furious. I've been here many times the last 4-5 years and have always received great service. Today I had made appointments for myself and 2 others for pedicures I called 30 minutes before and asked if I could change our appointments to an hour later. The man that answered the phone was polite but said no they were full all afternoon, Ok that's fine, I understand that so we kept our 1pm appointment time. We were all 3 seated in our pedicure chairs promptly at 1pm, the water had already been prepared for us, at 1:10 the first nail technician started on my mother-in-law . 10 minutes later another technician started on my husband at about the same time another woman was seated in a chair across from me . At 1:30 my water was now almost cold and a technician came and started on the woman that had been seated after me . I said I'm leaving and a technician said someone will be with you soon.I said no thanks they will be done soon. Why didn't the man on the phone just tell me when I called that they were over booked when I called, when I got up to leave I had to walk past the nail desks and there were also 2 people waiting there so they were obviously overbooked. I wasn't going to write anymore.. BUT it's been literally six days and my shellac nails are chipped and one nail broken, another on the verge of breaking. When I got there there was this uncomfortable ass situation with the owner lady. I was asking how much it'd be to change the shellac color so she said $18 and $25 for manicure. I said okay, then questioned why on the price list it says for shellac polish removal and change it's $3-5. She kept like sighing when I didn't understand what she was saying and kept saying it was different and that one is removing shellac and changing to regular polish.. "It removin then changing the color color" she kept saying... idk man. Shits misleading. After that I should've left right then bc it was a super weird vibe but because I had been here in Nov 2016 & left super happy I wanted to give it a chance. Kim gave me my "manicure". Went straight into it. Removed my old shellac, cleaned n cut my cuticles decently and painted pretty precisely which is why I even gave this 2 stars. But she rushed through painting and ALL WITHOUT CAPPING She used the cuticle oil basically to rub the rest of my hand and gave me this little thirty second massage... I noticed after all that and left that my pointer finger nail was broken. also three of the nails on one hand were dull, so I had to go back in the next day so they could put top coat on. and now, just six days later I've just noticed my thumb nail is also on the verge of breaking off. Chipping on my other thumb started by the fourth day. So sad she didn't cap the tips because it honestly is well done, my natural nails are healthy and I love this polish!! :(( They do a decent job aesthetically for those first couple days (U NEED TO CAP) but quality and environmment isn't worth what you pay in my opinion. Also at the end yeah they do ask how much you want to tip hella loud which is awkward. Funny the owner was all complimenting my nails saying they match my hair, then I tell her how much I tip and she says something in Vietnamese to the other lady and just says "bye". Hahaha read more
