Terrible customer service. They take their time on responding your requests. Forget about return calls, they're non-existent. On top of everything else, they try to charge you for additional fees and additional badges that you did not request. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my career. I've been in the print business for 20+ years and I've ordered quite a bit of collateral from other vendors and this has been the worse experience by far. I needed to order 1 name tag and it's been 4 days since I've placed the order and I still can't get a finalization of the order. It took 2 days to even get a proof and now I can't even get a hold of someone to expedite this. Which I'm willing to pay for. We just received our name badge order this morning. I realize that people are more likely to post a bad experience and tend not to follow up with good reviews. My experience with this company has been outstanding. Kim@bestnamebadges.com was on the ball from the very beginning. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner, she emailed examples of each of my choices. Engraved vs laser badges, my options for pins (standard or premium pin, etc. We went with a 1.5 x 3 laser magnetic backing, so we could use our colored company logo, with the employees name. We had a choice of white background, brushed silver or brushed gold. We went with brushed silver. The name badges were ordered after uploading our company logo, providing employees names and paying the invoice by credit card. We received Fed Ex tracking and the order was received just as expected. We love the quality of the product and the price was very reasonable. Won't be ordering badges from them again. When I started the process they were helpful in formatting our school badges. We did play phone tag phone tag throughout the process. To be fair there were a couple of times that they were waiting on me, but I as the customer should never have to wait for a returned call. This happened several times. Often they were not acquainted with my order and I'd have to explain myself when I called. The rep that I spoke to most frequently was monotone and not real friendly. When the badges arrived I was disappointed that they were not the shade that appeared on the proof. Also they were smaller and thinner than I expected. They did not catch the misspelling of two words, you would think that they'd notice and mention it to me. I'll take the hit for that, because I didn't catch it during the proofing phase. We realized that we needed more badges, so I had to immediately order a second batch. It took well over the estimated delivery date to receive them. When they arrived, they were completely different from the first batch. The replacements took even longer to arrive. But my chief complaint is that the tops of 10+ badges have broken making them unable to attach to the lanyard clip. We've only had them since September of 2018. They are low quality badges, find another company. read more

The worst vendor I have ever worked with in the 30+ years I have been in this business. DO NOT EVER USE THEM! After sending them a detailed purchase order, they obviously did not read. It also took them 2 days to respond to the order. They shipped all the name tags to our business when it was clearly marked to send it to 3 different addresses. After contacting the CSR, they can reprint them, but will not guarantee delivery time. I tried cancelling the reprint order and they will not refund the cost. CAN YOU SAY RIPOFF? read more

I'm completely done with this company. Ever time I order name badges for my company employees there's always an excuse as to why they weren't delievered. When I emailed Best Name Badges they said they'll make them again at no extra cost. What?? The name badges are nice and great quality but their customer service is terrible. read more

Where's the customer service? I ordered 9 name badges a few months ago and received the order within 3 days, no issues. I was very happy with the order and how quickly I received it. I then decided to order 3 additional badges and am going on 4 weeks without receiving the order. After getting a "failed delivery" notice, I requested to have it held at the post office for pick up. Went to the post office and was told the package was sent back to the sender. It has taken 2 days or more each time I have reached out to get a response from the customer service agent I had been working with. I was told I could pay for additional shipping to have my order reprinted and delivered (after I had already paid for shipping on original order). The next email I received rescinded this offer because "it was not their fault" and they told me I would need to wait for the package to be returned and still pay for shipping again. At this point, I asked for a supervisor contact name two days ago and STILL have not received a response from the supervisor or customer service as to where my order is. FOUR weeks in, no order here. Rather than have the owner respond to these Yelp reviews with his standard "do not be skewed by these reviews" I would suggest he work with his managers on responding to open requests or resolving these issues. read more

I was working with a specific rep with this company and everything was fine. I placed an order over a week ago and found it odd to have not been contacted back after a couple days. I e-mailed my rep again, with no response. I called the company, who just has a generic number, and spoke with another rep. She first responded with, "We have all been very busy," which, as a customer service rep, should NEVER be something you tell a customer. So my time is not important? So that is an excuse to not DO YOUR JOB? I am also very busy and I do not have time to follow up on orders multiple times. She then asked me who my rep was (which I believe should have been her FIRST inquiry.) I told her my reps name and she then informed me that she no longer worked for the company. Does anyone check past employees' e-mails? How was I to know that she no longer worked there? Was anyone going to reach out to her current customers to inform them that their orders were not going to be submitted? She then informed me that Best Name Badges has over 200 pending orders currently, which again, is not something I want to hear about. I am a customer and the only order that I am interested in, is MINE. I am very disappointed with the service this company has offered, or lack there of. I just tried calling the plant manager, Sam, who I emailed after my phone conversation several days ago. He has not responded to my e-mail and was not available to speak to me on the phone. Again, the rep who answered the phone told me that they are "very busy." Too busy to resolved a current, paying customer's order in a timely manner? Paid over $200 for name tags, sent numerous emails and called all day yesterday. The bottom line is the name tags were printed incorrectly and I needed them for an event next week. One would think that a month is a reasonable time for 25 name tags. Extremely poor customer service. I will be looking else where the next time our company needs to purchase name badges. Every time I call to check on the status of our order. I am told it is on its way. It now is 2 MONTHS later and still no name badge. I called again today. "It is on its way". LOL!!!! They are blaming the USPS as it is now their fault. My main concern is this company doesn't keep up with their orders and not being delivered in a timely manner or not all. read more

Terrible customer service, i never ordered their product because there customer service alone was terrible. their website claims they will send you an email to get you there product within an hour and i didn't get one for roughly 5 hours.. then when i replied to them via email they just never replied. worst part about it is you cant just place an order you have to wait for them to send you an invoice. I have no idea about there product quality but i would assume it is as good as there customer service. wouldn't recommended them to anyone. read more

Absolutely terrible! Ordered name badges 3 weeks before the date I needed, and was told in an email chain with the sales rep that I would be able to receive my badges by the date I needed without paying for the extra shipping. She told me that if I paid "ASAP", the order would go straight to production and be shipped ASAP. Done and done. That was on February 2. Today, February 16, I received an email stating that my order was SHIPPED. It took over 15 phone calls, 3 voicemails, one failed chat session before I FINALLY got someone on the phone. She then told me that the order was my responsibility and they wouldn't refund my purchase unless I shipped the badges back to them. When I told them that I wouldn't pay for the return shipping because it was their error the badges were late, she hung up on me. It also took 2 weeks for the initial salesperson to contact me. DO. NOT. ORDER!!!!! You will regret it! read more

Like most other reviewers, I wish I could give them no stars...possibly even negative stars! I ordered a name badge with Riel. Our communication was initiated via email. I told her what I was looking for, followed by a couple questions. The answers weren't acknowledged in her response with another question. I was a bit caught off guard by the very informal correspondence by her but didn't think too much of it. After my answer to her question, I did not hear back from her. After a couple days, I called Riel. Just as her email, I found her to be less than professional in her phone etiquette. Still, I chose to look past it....it's just a name badge, right? I acknowledged the correspondence between the two of us and requested an update. She said, "We have been very busy, you will be my next order." Ok, no biggie. I'm a reasonable person. She sent my a proof along with an invoice. In the email she stated the name badge will be produced upon payment of the invoice. I corrected the proof, provided her EXACTLY how the name badge should read and asked how long I could expect the process to take. Once again, no acknowledgment of my question. She sent me a corrected proof. I acknowledged the proof was correct and paid my invoice. Approximately a week and a half later I called for an update since there were no tracking options available. Riel, in her usual way, informed me the badge is still in production. I asked how long production takes, she FINALLY answered my question (probably because she was on the phone). She answered anywhere from 2-4 days. When I inquired about the timeframe of when I paid my invoice she became overly snippy with me and once again, said they have been busy. At that point, I asked to speak with her supervisor. She danced around it for a second then just gave me the 'manager's' email. Sam. She then followed up with, "Your name badge will be mailed out today." Ha! I couldn't figure out how it went from 2-4 days to today. I asked how that would be possible. She snidely remarked with "Well, I will WALK over to them and TELL them to send it TODAY." My professionalism and patience wore out at that very second. I advised her she will not continue to communicate to me in such a way as I will follow up with her supervisor. At that point, I was drained with the ridiculousness of this company. I figured I would just leave it be, wait for my badge, and never do business with them again. I later found out from other colleagues they have had the same issues with Riel and even after speaking with her supervisor, nothing has changed. After receiving my badge, I realized I would need to speak with Sam. I am not surprised the service is so poor. He is the male version of Riel, only he carries the title of Operations Manager! I received the first proof (the one I had advised was incorrect), to top it off, my name and company name were not even centered on the badge. I advised Sam of the issues with Riel, which he was already aware of her behavior from other colleagues who had spoken with him as well. I said I waited this long just to get the wrong badge that is not even centered. He didn't seem to be concerned AT ALL...like, not even one acknowledgement of Riel's behavior. He said he would review my order and find out what went wrong. I told him I don't want another badge. I told him I didn't want to do business with his company due to the lack of quality as well as service I have received. I requested a refund. His response, "Refunds are under MY discretion. You can pay for the return and we will refund the purchase." So, I need to pay for this company's error?! He is willing to send another name badge for $11 for free instead of refunding the $11 I spent? When does that make sense? Pay your employees to reproduce a name badge (operation expenses) and reship versus just refunding my money? When he advised me it was up to him to refund the money, I asked about the owner. He continued to tell me that he himself runs the company and he makes the decision on refunds. Sounds like BNB needs another Operations manager. I see responses by the 'Owner', Ryan. I found that interesting since he apparently is unreachable for anything regarding HIS business. A business owner who spends his day defending the lack of quality service and products is one who refuses to acknowledge that MAYBE there could be some changes in house to prevent all of these nasty reviews. There is no accountability for their employees. To say things like "we put out over 300 orders a day", should not be considered an excuse for poor services. Spend the extra money to hire more man power to keep up with the demand for quality production! Just because those orders are being filled doesn't necessarily mean the customers are happy. I was denied as an unhappy customer who tolerated the unprofessionalism until I received an incorrect name badge in an untimely manner. read more
