History
Established in 1978.
Training for nearly 40 years in Central Florida. Started training with Three-J Dog Training in Maitland. Formed our own private training school and moved on to running classes for several veterinarians, then renting several locations (Fern Park, Sanford) before moving to Osteen 5 years ago. Adding Spring Oaks Animal Care Center, DeLand, and Maitland Civic Center session as part of the move to Osteen. Introduced clicker training to Central Florida. Longest running group clicker training in the southeast U.S., longest running young puppy/Dunbar style/clicker classes in Fla. On first Clicker Academy faculty; Association of Professional Dog Trainers charter member 15.
Meet the Business Owner: P.J. L.
P.J. Lacette has been training dogs & people for 40 years. Erin was the first of P.J.'s nationally-ranked obedience dogs (Irish setters and flat-coated retrievers), as well as champions & dogs with agility rankings & sporting field titles. Her numerous television appearances have included Petsburgh U.S.A., Good Dog U, Ask the Vet, iVillage Live, That's My Dog & Way to Grow as well as countless t.v. news segments & programs. She was a consultant on & appeared on Zig & Zag Alpha Dog Challenge. Her dogs and cats, as well as those of her students, have also been featured in television and print ads, in movies and at conventions and trade shows. Working for The Orlando Sentinel, a major newspaper, for 20 years helped maintain an early love for writing. Her by-line has appeared in dog publications such as the AKC Gazette & and Setter Quarterly, as well as in books on dog training tips, and she is currently working on an e-book.
