After house hunting in the 1970's, we finally walked into and fell in love with the charm of a home built in 1952 and immediately bought it. However, "old world charm" comes with lots of plumbing challenges--not only old plumbing but the plumbing also had to survive the conversion of Tucson ground water to CAP. Ugh. The owner of the company is extremely knowledgeable (the company has been in Tucson for over 30 years) and has a crew of plumbers that are competent and capable. I'd give them more stars if that were an option! On a late Friday morning (natch!) I was informed that I had a waterline leak at the corner of my property. Tucson water had turned off the water so I need a plumber immediately! I called several highly-rated ones, a few said they "might" be able to get to me late afternoon. Then I called Best Price. They said to give them a couple of hours & they'd find someone. A short time later, Gilbert called to say he was on his way. He & a companion came straight away, I showed them the problem & they started working. They were very efficient, knowledgeable, cheerful & personable & got the work done before several other options even called me back. Thank you for your immediate response to the broken pipe at my mother's house! You talked us through how to turn off the main and stem the flooding. I could not believe how quickly your guy got there with mopping material, the right pipe and valve -- He checked all the other pipes, found one that was weak and replaced it. He helped me get the heavy wet towels, mats and rags outside to dry -- and everything was finished in just under 1.5 hours. Had a main line backup after a septic tank pumping. Tank pumpers gave me a referral for the specific problem. Called, but the referred company couldn't come out for another week. Called Best Price Plumbing because they've done all the interior plumbing in our house for the past 20 years. It was mid-morning on Saturday. Even though it was a full day for them, Daniel and his co-worker responded after their schedule was done; had to look into the septic tank then get on the roof (practically in the dark) to fix the problem. Gilbert installed a new hot water heater in my home. I contacted about 6 other plumbers for this job. He had the best price, was the only plumber willing to do the job on a Sunday during the July 4 weekend holiday and was very reliable, respectful and neat in his approach to the job. Gilbert called me when he was on his way and arrived on time. Some other companies never returned my call as the old hot water heater went out on July 4. I got the best service ever from Best Price Plumbing. All my drains where backed up and I called several company's and they all told me (over the phone, without ever looking at it) I needed my tank pumped out. I was really not looking forward to the price I had been told from these different company's. Best Price Plumbing told me they would come out and look at it. When they arrived they dug the tank up opened the lids, and found out that the baffle just needed to be unclogged. They saved me hundreds of dollars and I am good to go for along long time now. He asked if I needed somebody right now or would in the morning work, I chose the morning and he told me Tony would be here no later than 9:00. Tony showed up 30 minutes early and looked over the entire water system. He found the problem and had it fixed very promptly. Due to his expertise and knowledge the fix was quick.
