My Chevrolet Colorado towed vehicle burned up two sets of brakes while being towed. I took it to a…read moreplace in Santa Fe that charged me $2100 to repair it. Within 30 miles the brakes locked up again and burned them up. Last week I took my pick up into CT's and explained the problem to them. They also replaced the whole braking system plus straightened warped backing plate and charged me $1600. They suggested I look into the automatic towing braking system on the Chevrolet. I have done that and realized that WAS the problem. Won't have this problem again thanks to them. While we left our car there for the day they gave us a lone car - no charge! that allowed us to do some shopping and sightseeing while they worked on pickup. They test drove it, came back and did some more work on it. Then drove it again before they would let me have it. That is how professional, complete and reliable they are. The owner and his wife are just the most delightful people you've ever met and the mechanic is also extremely personable. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

We have continually had great service and excellent communication from this shop. The last time I brought my car in for a repair, they provided a complete diagnostic report with photos of the problem. They broke down all of their concerns along with estimates for each itemized repair. We have brought all of our vehicles in, and had nothing but great service. It's tough to get reliable auto work done in a small mountain town. But CT's has really come a long way, providing dependable repair work in a friendly atmosphere. I went to change my own tire because I was in the middle of nowhere come to find out they did not put my personal property back. I have four locking lugs one on each rim and it was nowhere to be found in my car never to be found again when I called them to confront them. They didn't even say sorry the guy that I talked to said oh that sucks. That's not what you say in this situation they said they would talk to the mechanic he was out to launch. I was incredibly stressed and on the verge of tears when I finally got through to the shop and spoke with Bree. She was so kind, calm, and reassuring, and immediately arranged for a flatbed. Brooke, a retired police officer who is in the process of purchasing the shop, came to pick us up and brought us back to Pagosa. Before we even arrived, he had already identified the likely problem and assured us that if all of the mechanics were busy, he would repair it himself--which is exactly what he did. He was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and immediately put our minds at ease. From start to finish, everyone went above and beyond to help us during a very stressful situation. I keep this car fully maintained and cared for. Prior to our trip I did the 120000 mile service changing fluids spark plugs and coils with motorcraft oem. Eyerything seemed good for the trip. After making the climb into Pagosa i noticed some random misfire. After parking for an hour when I went to start the car. It was missing so bad it would barely drive. I knew I needed a mechanic! I did some searching and went with a top rated shop I found online. When I arrived at my appointment he looked under the hood and said he did not have time to deal with ignition/ electrical issues. I was devastated and went on my way. Trying to think what to do. I went to a local auto parts store to get a replacement spark plug. They recommended holiday auto repair. Holladay was able to get me in the next morning. Shane, the owner, and one of the mechanics Will, were very receptive and told me they would diagnose to the best of their ability. I found them to be very competent caring and professional. Within an hour they had the coils and plugs out and it was determined that these were not OEM parts, but Chinese copies labeled as Ford Motorcraft. ( Amazon problem) They replaced all the plugs and coils, and made sure that the car was running correctly. All of this was done at a fair and reasonable cost with upmost care to my vehicle, my safety and my family. I personally highly recommend this shop to anyone and know that these people at Holladay auto repair have the best intentions. Shane the owner, has integrity and care for all of his customers. I know after being in the shop for three hours that his concern is quality work at a fair price but always keeping safety for the customer in mind.
