I took it back to fix my problem and was met with rudeness and frustration by the manager. Like it was my fault.! I contacted the main office and was met with the same attitude. They tried to charge me $300 additional for parts after they broke it! I told them I would not pay that . They threatened me with a lien on my truck. Nothing came of this fortunately. HOWEVER, I had to take it back a few weeks later because my rear main seal was leaking because of the damage that occurred from the loose lug nuts. They fixed it. Then I decided I would never return my business. NOW I was checking my brake pads because I noticed a weird noise and discovered my whole right rear dually rotor is broken in half!!!! I'm so unbelievably frustrated because this will now be thousands of dollars in repairs because of their negligence. I will be reporting them to the BBB. If not suing them for the damage that was caused to my pickup that has NEVER Had a problem before. The fact I could have been in a major accident seems to be this businesses least concern. On one of those trips, my 2013 Jeep JK's radiator basically blew up a couple of miles outside of Pagosa. I pulled into a parking lot and called AAA. While waiting for the tow truck, I needed to figure out where to take it and get it fixed quickly. I didn't want to have to stay overnight. I called my mechanic in Denver, and she recommended Best Rate Auto. I was surprised she knew anyone that far from Denver, but she had lived in this part of Colorado. When the tow truck driver arrived, he recommended the same shop, so that's where we went. I met the owner, Max, at his very busy shop at about 10am. He said he'd have a look and let me know what needed to be done. About thirty minutes later, he told me the radiator needed to be replaced and handed me a written estimate, which, based on my quick research, seemed very reasonable. He said they'd get started right away. At about noon I looked into some local hotels in case it was going to take overnight, and then I walked to a nearby restaurant for lunch. When I got back at about 1:15, Max came out to tell me it was ready. I honestly couldn't believe they were able to get the parts and complete the work that fast. I drove back to Denver over Wolf Creek Pass, and the temperature stayed in the normal range the entire trip. I can't thank Max and his crew enough. They didn't just save my day; they made my month.

They charged me $685 to replace a wiring connector on the camshaft position sensor. I would hate…read moreto think what they would have charged if it were something more involved. Edit: Phil called in response to my review. See the attached invoice. I had already replaced the camshaft position sensor (a ten minute job), which was new. This did not resolve the code, which indicated the connection was intermittent. I had tested the connector with a multimeter, which indicated there was a bad connection at the connector. This was communicated to the service manager when I dropped off the vehicle. The technician stated that there was a broken tab on the camshaft position sensor, and they replaced the brand new part I had just installed. See the attached photo. That the tab could be broken without being filed off is highly suspect. It's a durable part. That the relatively fragile connector was damaged is more credible. In my opinion, as stated to the service manager, it was obviously the part that needed to be replaced. They replaced the connector, which again, I had communicated was the likely issue. They claim to have paid $110 for this part that I can purchase at Napa for $26. So in summary, I paid $685 to have them swap out a $26 connector. I can only conclude they're either dishonest or incompetent. Edit 2: Well Phil, now you're just outright lying. You did not show me the new camshaft position sensor you removed and replaced. Your technician did not perform any diagnostics, and ignored the diagnostic information I provided to you in advance. He just started swapping parts, AND overcharging for the time spent. Even if the sensor needed to be replaced, a $40 part that takes ten minutes to install, to charge me $685 is absurd.

Ken is either a CROOK, or is INCOMPETENT. My truck started overheating and losing coolant while…read moremy wife was having emergency surgery. Took it to Ken and told him I think a hose or clamp was bad. He said "it's your water pump" as he looked at it from a distance. Told him to please check it out. He replaced the water pump and I drove it back to the hospital. Next day, coolant levels were low again. Took it back to Ken and he said that's normal as your vehicle heats up and cools down. Headed back to Texas and had to stop every 100 miles to add coolant. This was with a wife fresh out of surgery and on oxygen. It was NOT the water pump. Took it to my local mechanic, he said it was a hose and a clamp JUST LIKE I TOLD HIM in the first place. STAY AWAY if you are from out of state. He will take advantage of you, rip you off, and leave you in a bad situation.
