It offers deliciously authentic Mexican snacks and drinks. There is so much to choose from and all very affordable. Just keep in mind its cash only and that there is no seating. My goto things to get here are their Mexican corn on a cob (only $3!) with a cup of mangonada. If you never had Mexican corn before its a mixture of spicy, salty, sweet and cheesy goodness all on magical cob. Definitely stop by if you're anywhere in the Alki to DT Seattle area as this place will make you enter food heaven. Highly recommend. read more

My first time having a Mexican corn on the cob and it was absolutely delicious! It came with mayonnaise, butter, Chili, and parmasean cheese. It was a hot mess eating it, and I ended up looking like the Joker from batman after eating it but I totally didn't care! There were other types of toppings like the African corn with Chili and lime, but the classic Mexican is my personal favorite. $2.50 for a corn on the cob and it's cash only. I've tried to go to their stand in White Center at least 3 times but they've either been closed or not open yet for the day (this was at 3p in the afternoon - they were still cooking corn). Low and behold, they have a stand at the Kent Farmer's Market. OMG, I like corn on the cob but LOVE their Mexican corn on the cob - it is CORN KRACK..... all for $3 (much less - I think than crack). They also have huge Mangos on a stick that the kids love for $3. I've switched farmer's markets on Saturday just so I can get some Corn Krack. I don't know what I'm going to do for my fix in the winter when the farmer's market is closed - maybe trek to White Center and pray that they are actually open when I go......... read more

Came here on a hot day and got the mangonada. The mangonada consists of shaved ice, mangoes, mango syrup, tamarind candy and tajin seasoning. I have never really liked the tajin seasoning in candy or drinks before but the mangonada here makes the seasoning very bearable to me. I wouldn't say this drink is refreshing but it was very satisfying on a hot day. All the flavors in this drink works well together. The shaved ice was kind of hard to break apart but its doable. The only thing that would've made this drink better is if they would add more mango syrup or mangoes to make this drink more mango-y. I hear their corn is really good too so try that too! The area is slightly sketchy though so be careful. read more

Since my visit (12/19/19) they have started accepting card! Will always be my favorite stand for anything relating to antojito: favorites are of course elotes (though I usually get it in the cup aka esquites), mangonadas, tostilocos, and takislocos! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it! The price is just right and has barely changed in the past 15 years, and the owner opened a stand alone store in Burien as well which also accepts card. I was at the taco truck that was nearby and decided to stop here since it was actually open. I got the Mexican corn in a cup which was $3. It was an excellent value since there is a lot of corn in it and more convenient to eat. Since corn is not in season I expected that it would not be very sweet as it was but I was pleasantly surprised. It is $2.50 for the ear on a stick which you can have flavored in the following way Asian - plain Mexican - mayo, cheese, chili powder and lemon juice American - butter, salt and pepper Central American - the same as Mexican but with mustard, Ketchup and no lemon juice African - lemon juice, chili powder and salt I will be back for sure. They have many different styles (ingredients) to add to your corn and if you don't want it right off the cobb they will cut it off and into a cup for you to try as well. If you're lazy, super fancy, or have braces like I do, you can get the corn in a cup that tastes just as good and is easier to eat. I prefer to get down and dirty with the cob though. :) I usually get the Mexican corn, but he has a board up of the different types you can get; Mexican, Asian, American, Brazilian, etc. I tried the other one that came with mustard and ketchup on it. Sounded disgusting, but I still tried it and glad I did. It wasn't as great as the Mexican corn, but I still enjoyed it. Every time I go, it's the same guy working all by himself.
