HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEXICAN CORN IN WA!!!! Sorry for the all caps earlier, I couldn't help myself. Anyways, don't judge a book by its cover as this place is one of Washington's hidden gems. It offers deliciously authentic Mexican snacks and drinks. There is so much to choose from and all very affordable. Just keep in mind its cash only and that there is no seating. My goto things to get here are their Mexican corn on a cob (only $3!) with a cup of mangonada. If you never had Mexican corn before its a mixture of spicy, salty, sweet and cheesy goodness all on magical cob. It was a hot mess eating it, and I ended up looking like the Joker from batman after eating it but I totally didn't care! I've tried to go to their stand in White Center at least 3 times but they've either been closed or not open yet for the day (this was at 3p in the afternoon - they were still cooking corn). Low and behold, they have a stand at the Kent Farmer's Market. OMG, I like corn on the cob but LOVE their Mexican corn on the cob - it is CORN KRACK..... all for $3 (much less - I think than crack). They also have huge Mangos on a stick that the kids love for $3. I've switched farmer's markets on Saturday just so I can get some Corn Krack. I don't know what I'm going to do for my fix in the winter when the farmer's market is closed - maybe trek to White Center and pray that they are actually open when I go......... read more

Came here on a hot day and got the mangonada. The mangonada consists of shaved ice, mangoes, mango syrup, tamarind candy and tajin seasoning. I have never really liked the tajin seasoning in candy or drinks before but the mangonada here makes the seasoning very bearable to me. I wouldn't say this drink is refreshing but it was very satisfying on a hot day. All the flavors in this drink works well together. The shaved ice was kind of hard to break apart but its doable. The only thing that would've made this drink better is if they would add more mango syrup or mangoes to make this drink more mango-y. I hear their corn is really good too so try that too! Since my visit (12/19/19) they have started accepting card! Will always be my favorite stand for anything relating to antojito: favorites are of course elotes (though I usually get it in the cup aka esquites), mangonadas, tostilocos, and takislocos! The price is just right and has barely changed in the past 15 years, and the owner opened a stand alone store in Burien as well which also accepts card. Since this amazing creation last popped up in Pike Place Market, it has moved. The guy who runs the cart is now right near Dog in the Park in Westlake Center. The location within the "park" is besides the point, just walk into the area and you will smell it. Several minutes later you might possibly snap out of a trance-like state with an ear of corn on the cob 100% devoid of any remaining kernels with no memory of what just happened and missing $2.50. It was an excellent value since there is a lot of corn in it and more convenient to eat. Since corn is not in season I expected that it would not be very sweet as it was but I was pleasantly surprised. It is $2.50 for the ear on a stick which you can have flavored in the following way Asian - plain Mexican - mayo, cheese, chili powder and lemon juice American - butter, salt and pepper Central American - the same as Mexican but with mustard, Ketchup and no lemon juice African - lemon juice, chili powder and salt I will be back for sure. They have many different styles (ingredients) to add to your corn and if you don't want it right off the cobb they will cut it off and into a cup for you to try as well. This place has wonderful corn the customer service is horrible they misunderstood my order and I speak Spanish. I didn't double check my order I got all the way to my home which is 20 miles away I'll need to find out they gave me something totally wrong. I went back the very next day The same worker was there she denied everything said that I ordered it that way then proceeded to say my cousin doesn't speak Spanish and that's why it was ordered the wrong way the owner of the stand the mail I was going back-and-forth with me arguing with me all I wanted was the actual thing I ordered and he still proceeded to argue with me pretty much calling us liars to our face I will never go to this place again horrible customer service. read more

Thank the Heavenly Corn Gods for this lovely corn stand! For $3, you get the most addicting corn on a cob that you've ever had. If you're lazy, super fancy, or have braces like I do, you can get the corn in a cup that tastes just as good and is easier to eat. I prefer to get down and dirty with the cob though. :) I usually get the Mexican corn, but he has a board up of the different types you can get; Mexican, Asian, American, Brazilian, etc. I tried the other one that came with mustard and ketchup on it. Sounded disgusting, but I still tried it and glad I did. It wasn't as great as the Mexican corn, but I still enjoyed it. Every time I go, it's the same guy working all by himself. I noticed the last few times that he does not have a tip jar out, so you should tell him to keep the change if you pay in a bigger bill ($5). He deserves it. read more
