Best Spicy Margarita Ever!! My first time and will be back! The gentleman that made my spicy margarita was so kind and helpful with the menu. As we left, we saw our bartender also working in the kitchen. Give that man a raise! #bestspicymargaritaever

Late review. My son took we here for his appreciation of being his mother. The staff was kind. We started out with a margarita drink. The place provided a bar lack vibe. My son got a burrito, my husband order the fajitas and I ordered the shrimp tacos. The food was delicious tasted fresh and came out hot.

First time here and it was incredible! Very welcoming environment and staff, definitely feels like a family owned place. I had a raspberry mojito and a watermelon margarita, both were fantastic. Every ounce of food on my plate was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Good spice levels. I can't say enough good things, I will definitely be back!

Food taste is good and not your normal Mexican food menu Many margarita flavors Service is on point Nice and spacious inside

Chips and salsa + beans to start us off. Spicy mango margarita and watermelon margarita

We were looking for a place to grab margaritas and Mexican food after my friend picked me up from the airport and La Esquina popped up. The food looked good in the limited pictures we saw and the menu was diverse. I'm soooo glad we stopped by! It wasn't busy at all but it really should have been. All the food was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The margaritas were delicious. Our server was amazing and so much fun. The whole time there was a DJ and they were playing fun music. Eventually the bar area filled up and some folks started dancing but truly this place should be packed every day! I'll be telling all my Seattle friends about it!

An excellent addition to the Burien Mexican food spots. The inside is spacious with the largest bar and liquor collection in the neighborhood. Top shelf margaritas are tangy and excellent. The food is a far cut above your standard Mexican fare with massive burritos featuring your choice of uniquely spiced proteins including adobada, asada and even birria (goat). The most interesting dish is the pollo Al pipian which is a quarter chicken slow roasted in an earthy sauce highlighted by pumpkin seeds. The bird falls off the bone with the slightest swipe of a fork and is succulent and complex. And the sauce is great to dredge the accompanying rice and beans through. Wonderful spot for an after work marg or a gathering of friends to watch the game with a frosty Modelo.

Very excited to try this place as the reviews were awesome. Came here with a friend and we both ordered Cadillac margaritas, jalapeno poppers, and two different kinds of sushi. Wait staff was extremely friendly and met all of our needs. Cadillac margaritas were a little nondescript and I walked away without even a slight buzz. Jalapeno poppers were fairly small and even though melted cheese was good in the middle, a lot of coating. Sushi was very good and presentation was lovely, but I wouldn't say it was great. Atmosphere was welcoming and as we were leaving they were setting up a band.

100% am going to go back here! We had a carne asada torta and pozole and it did not disappoint. Super nice people, great authentic mexican food, and the margaritas on the patio this summer are gonna be my go-to. Way better than Mission/Matador/any of the Mexican you'll find in Morgan or Admiral Junction!

This was the best asada I have ever had. So so good. My friends had burrito and shrimp tacos and the carne asada they all said it was really good! Great customer service. They were so nice.

Instead of enjoying the game, we ended up leaving early because of how we were treated. My wife uses a wheelchair and relies on a trained service dog. From the moment we walked in, the owner, Hilda Ramos, was hostile and made it clear that our service dog was not welcome. We explained that the dog is a trained service animal, but she repeatedly came back to our table to question us, making us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit. By the end of our visit, she told us that our service dog would not be allowed back. The dog was calm, well-behaved, and under control the entire time. We had reserved our table in advance to enjoy the game, but because of the owner's behavior, we didn't even get to finish watching it. We didn't even finish our food or our drinks, yet we still paid our entire bill and left because we no longer felt welcome. As a fellow Mexican, and my african wife, it was especially disappointing to be treated this way. I left feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. No customer should be made to feel like they don't belong, especially when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal and are accompanied by a legitimate service animal. I hope the owner takes the time to understand the rights of customers who rely on service animals and treats every guest with dignity and respect. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant. The owner is racist and I will make sure ADA knows about her

I finally made it to Birrieria Tijuana and WOW... I'm honestly mad I didn't come sooner…read more The birria caldo was absolutely amazing - rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a homemade taste that you just can't fake. You can tell it's made with love and tradition. The meat was tender, juicy, and soaked up all that deep, savory broth in the best way possible. On top of that, the customer service was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It really felt like one of those hidden gems where the food AND the people both stand out. If you're anywhere near Burien and craving birria. don't think twice. The service was great! Took my order right away and answered questions I had. She then brought out the food for me.

It's something that is pretty rare to find with all of the Mexican restaurants I have been to El Catrin is the only one where it has been found. We had it on the side with rice, lettuce and tomato. The flavor for it is mushroom like with a sweet, savory, woody and smoky flavor that is corn like. It was very unique and delicious! In addition to that we got some totally awesome nachos which out of this world! We made a second trip back here and I got their Chile Relleno which totally blew me away! It was fabulous! The tortillas that came with it were simply marvelous! Steve got an excellent quesadilla! The wait may be a tad long but it's so worth waiting for. I really can't praise the food enough! We are located in Tacoma and El Catrin is in an unincorporated Seattle neighborhood and so the drive is at least half an hour on a good day but we wouldn't hesitate in making a trip up here just for this restaurant! I can't say that for many restaurants but I certainly would with El Catrin. Fresh, flavorful and a sheer delight we will be coming here with any opportunity we can seize!

I am traveling and will be gone by Tuesday otherwise I would definitely come back for that deal.
