This hotel is not clean. The bathtub didnt work. The heaters click very loudly when they are turning off once they reach the desired temp. Lights didn't work. The floors were extremely dirty. The pillows are as small as throw pillow. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. read more

This is a five-star for this inn being true to its self, it is not a five star motel by any stretch of the imagination. The room was half the size of the Hyatt we stayed at in California and lacked the amenities. But it is the perfect restored older small-town motel, very well kept up, great dog-walking area with lush grass and great coffee in the complimentary breakfast area. The staff was very friendly and quickly answered all questions. I noticed that the walls looked to be old fashioned lath-and-plaster rather than the smooth drywall now used. Small detail, but I've lived in some older houses and find it interesting. Nice thing about a place like this is that everything is "right there." No long walks down the hall or to the ice machine or even the parking lot. We parked in front of our room so luggage transfer was easy. read more

Stopped by for the night during our road trip with our 1 year old pup last month. Employees were accommodating and extremely nice, heating up our room before our arrival and having to-go breakfast for us as we left. Halfway between Denver and Los Angeles, Beaver is a nice stop if you want to get away from it all. The town is tiny and quiet. I have stayed at this motel several times and have not been disappointed. The hotel is older and the area is fairly rural, it's not the Four Seasons, but for the price and location, it's a great place to sleep before moving on. Decent, cheap hotel for a small town. Just ensure to get there plenty early, because some field mechanics from out of the area may stay there and their trucks hog up the parking spots. To be honest...I never stepped foot on the property. Their phone etiquette and lack of customer service was enough to keep me away. Made a reservation a few days earlier and attempted to call to inform them I would be a late arrival. Ended up calling five times. The first four calls were answered with, "Thanks for calling but I'm tied up with other guests. Please call back in a couple of minutes...CLICK?" This was not an answering machine. I called back in increments of 15-minutes. When I finally got through and announced my late arrival, I was met with excuses and absolute rudeness. I lost count of the number of times I was interrupted. I was especially surprised to find out a family member's service animal could not be allowed on the floor where our reserved room was located. The room is small but clean, and air quality was good. It had all the amenities of excellent tv/channel choices, frig, micro, coffee maker but why not get better coffee at breakfast area? Bathroom looked newly remodeled with tile floor and bath, and excellent lighting. I always look for lots of outlets on both sides of bed, which this had. Making our way to Colorado, we became tired and so we decided to find a quick hotel to spend a few hours in for some sleep! Came across this Best Western, and at first we were a bit sketched out because it was just a random hotel kind of in a rural part and we saw how CHEAP the room was, but with further researching in the hotel, we saw that everyone that has stayed here gave it really good reviews! So we decided to stay here and we were not disappointed! The hotel itself was very NICE! We checked in very late.. maybe around 12:40am and the guy that checked us in was super nice! Our room was CLEAN and cozy. It was very quiet outside, rarely do you hear cars passing by! Definitely no complaints whatsoever! We would totally stay here again! I think the place has changed somewhat from the last review made by Elvis B. Some of the rooms are small but very clean. We were lucky enough (and the hotel was slow enough) to be upgraded to a family suite that had a extra room with Queen bed. The hot breakfast in the morning was excellent with a full selection of hot pastries, waffles (make your own), coffee and fruit. It was better breakfast then I've seen in many other places but then again it's no IHOP either. One thing that really stood out was the staff, they seem to go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy and have everything that you need. My kids wanted to swim (nothing else to do in town) so they turned up the heat and left the pool open as long as we wanted. I don't think that you could find a better hotel in Beaver, UT so if you happen to need a hotel in this small town I would highly recommend it. read more

To start, I wouldn't pay for this place. However, If you want poor service, even worse beds, and a breakfast that makes you want to vomit, I suppose I would recommend this place. Let's start with customer service, as it's very upfront. The people do not care about your experience, and will not assist you. As an example, when I went all we wanted was a room on the bottom floor, and we were told we would not be getting one. However, the man who said this didn't check, and just said they have no rooms on the bottom floor, even though there were so many open rooms in the back! The beds were tougher than rocks, and I found more comfort sleeping on the floor. I couldn't even watch Netflix because the internet is so poor! And when you get there, I hope you don't have to use the bathroom, because the one in the front lobby is closed "due to COVID". However, breakfast is open? And in a little room where social distancing is near impossible? Speaking of breakfast, the eggs tasted more like rubber than anything, and the sausage tasted like nothing. The waffle batter didn't even come out in pumps, you had to wait for it to drip into a cup, which takes 5 minutes at best. The orange juice is discolored, and doesn't taste right. The apple juice is much too sweet, and the only thing that tasted ok is the cereal TL;DR, don't go here if you want to enjoy yourself. Splurge a little and go somewhere else. For what we paid, I'm not going to complain! I am going to point out things that others may find informative. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and upbeat! He was informative and check-in was quick. We had reserved a room with a queen bed. The room was a small but not too small. It was located two doors down from the office. The room was clean but definitely wore out! The mattress was soft but if you like soft, then you won't find this as a negative! Megan C. hit the nail on the head. BW Butch Cassidy should really look into totally re doing their bathrooms. They are "yucky" in the fact that EVERYTHING, except for the window, is very old, run down and needing to be replaced. Essentially, they need to totally gut the interior of the bathroom. This would give hotel visitors a much needed feel for cleanliness! Just like most other motels, the heating/cooling unit is pretty noisy. They are updated and clean. And, a plus is, the curtains don't hang down in front of the unit thus, the air does not blow the curtains all over the place! The room also had a nice flat screen TV, a small microwave and refrigerator. The remote is one that allows you to wipe it down if you're concerned about germs. The sleep timer on the remote did not work, but I just left a handwritten note under the remote to inform them of such. Be sure to pay attention to the door hanger......it has two different sides! One side requests the maid while the other says "Do not Disturb." The breakfast room is small but adequate. Available to you is the typical "On the Go" continental breakfast. Hot items like scrambled egg patties, sausage, waffles and toast, kid friendly foods, pastries, cereals and the healthier fare like yogurt and fruits. Juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate were also available. The attendant was pleasant and attentive. Although one can tell that there have been some updates made to the motel, I think the owners of this motel would benefit more if they updated the bathrooms and raised their prices. I cannot attest to the condition of the newer section that is located on the backside of the office. Would I stay here again? Yes, but if I were to learn of another motel priced the same that was clean and more up-to-date, I would probably go elsewhere! read more

I, for one, would not deem this hotel a three-star establishment. The front desk was particularly unhelpful and the rooms were more than sub par. Yes, Beaver is an extremely small town, but the price of the place led me to believe that it was decent hotel. There's not a lot of parking, especially if the hotel is on the fuller side. I understand that this is a bit nit-picky, but the baseboards and door frames were rather chewed up. The shower was hideous, the grout had mildew on it and the curtain rod was covered in rust. The toilet looked like it was in dire need of a scrubbing, I would compare it to that of a middle-of-nowhere gas station. The wallpaper was peeling and the floors looked like they could use a good cleaning. Quite frankly, I didn't even want to sleep in the bed after seeing the state of the place. I can't imagine many yelpers actually looking up "Beaver Utah" but who knows? I did! HA HA. Our drive from California to Canada had to include pet friendly hotels, and I had basically taken the 2500+ mile drive, divided over a certain # of days and then looked for pet friendly. We ended up at the Butch Cassidy Inn in Beaver! I was already looking forward to the photo ops Beaver, Beaver, Beaver!! The room was clean, small, but clean. It was the local area that gave us the willies. We ate at a "town favorite" Archel's. We had been driving for 10 hours and would have paid $50 for a cold beer. This restaurant was completely silent. Like David Lynch film eerie. Oh, there were people in it, but it was hauntingly *silent* not even canned music in the background. Yes, we realize it is a small town, but anyway...The townsfolk stared us down, kinda felt like I was in a Stephen King movie. I was wondering whether we'd *disappear*, never to be heard from or seen again. Ah, but i'm here writing this, so that didn't happen!! After departing from the alcohol free restaurant, we lurked about the small town in search of a liquor store, a bar, or whatever! We realized being in Utah makes it a little um, different. Let's just say that if we were looking for a church at 9 pm that wouldn't have been as difficult. We finally found a gas station-slash-liquor-slash buy a dead deer head store and they had Bud and Wine Coolers. My husband and I were so desperate for hooch that we bought a six'er of each and headed back to our fab hotel room. Ah the morning comes. We are still alive! Nobody killed us in the night. How lovely. The hotel's "continental breakfast" as mentioned on the website, well, yeah, they put out these danishes, the kind you buy in a vending machine, still in their wrappers. They set out stacks of canned juice, and coffee that made me shiver. I loves me my coffee, but this stuff was - icky! The only way the danish was palatable was to dunk it in the icky, icky coffee. The hotel was clean and cheap, I'll give them that, and it did the job as a one night stop-over... We did get a souvenier "BEAVER" magnet for the fridge, so we got that going for us! read more

We have stayed here before but about 6 years ago. We thought it was a good spot then but were so pleasantly surprised to see that most of the rooms have recently been remodeled. We found everything to be clean and very comfortable for our family. Our kids loved the large pool. The breakfast was fantastic. Warm and cold foods. (Waffles, eggs, sausage, hash browns, bagels, muffins, toast, cinnamon rolls, assortment of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, apple juice, orange juice, and I'm sure I'm missing something.) Staff were all very kind and friendly! This will be our go to place when we stop in Beaver. Lots of quality at a great price. read more

Chose this BW after a long drive from Idaho. I will give this one a 2.5 star rating. We requested a room on the 1st floor so that we could organize the back of our truck after a long road trip. We were told they only had 1 king bed room on the 1st floor and we would have to pay $20 for a rollaway for the kid. Ok, fine. When we entered the room it smelled very musty/smoky. We should have requested a new room then and there, but it probably wouldn't have made a difference and we were exhausted so we sucked it up. The shower was in very bad shape - mildew stains, peeling paint. The worst was that there was no knob to pull up to turn the shower on, just a nub that you had to get with your fingernails. The hot water came out scalding hot and was on a hair trigger. Turn that knob a millimeter too far and your getting burned. The metal knob was screaming hot too. Major hazard for kids. The toilet was practically touching the wall, very cramped space. On the plus side.... -Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Good coffee, juice, sausage, egg, cereal, etc. I'll never complain about a free breakfast. -Nice outdoor pool. -Comfy bed and soft pillows, but not enough of them. -Free wi-fi had good signal. We tend to have very good luck with the BW chain but, sorry, we would not stay at this one again. read more

This place has a much better breakfast than most motels, especially for the price. I was given a room with covered parking for the KTM which was good as rain threatened and I had been playing "catch me if you can" with thunderstorms all day and was snowed on in the Great Basin National Park. The room and bed were comfortable. The motel was being renovated: there were huge boxes of mattresses outside and a large storage container parked in front of some units. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Just passing through from Moab to St. George with my husband and three sons. Needed a place to shower and rest. I was a bit skeptical to stay at a Best Western. Property was quiet with a small pool out front. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Shower was slightly yellowed from bleach use. Water pressure was pretty good with a standard shower head. You can tell that they pride themselves in cleanliness because the property was spotless. Decor was nicely updated and included modern photographs of beautiful canyons and wood. Room had 2 USB ports, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Breakfast was wonderful! Located in a quaint cafe style area in the front of the property. They offered biscuits and gravy, do it yourself waffle making, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, coffee, juices and fresh fruit. This would be a 2-Star except the breakfast lady was great. Booked a non refundable double. Exterior was dated, hoped for quaint. Check in at 10:45 pm took a while. Only five cars in the lot. Walked into the room and the smoke alarm kept beeping. Front desk said they'd move us to another room. Actually the owner told her to just unplug it. Not gonna happen. Only other room was up the stairs (which is difficult and five cars in the lot), so I asked for refund and would go to Paradise BW up the street. Can't do it, so up we climbed. Room was nice, clean, remodeled and comfy. One double bed was shoved against a wall and the other shoved against the wall heater, one of us to climb over the foot of the bed to exit. Another guest prepaid through AAA dog friendly hotels, checked in and was told no pets allowed. He paid the night man $30. Talked to him in the marked pet area of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were clean and kept well. Staff had us checked in, in about 5 minutes. We ate dinner next door at their own on site restaurant the Crazy cow. We found the food good at a fair price. With every person that stays there you get a complimentary hot breakfast with many different meals to choose from. We would rate this place a 5 out of 5. During the ski season I stayed here over night. A place to crash is all I would consider this place for the door frames are old and warped but the locks are nice and new. The carpet bathroom are old but the bed is new and comfy with a new flat screen. On par with a Motel 6 but costs a little more. First star is for the friendly staff. Second for the breakfast which was well stocked with everything you could expect from the free continental. Waffle, danish, juice, fruit and, coffee. Good to go. I stayed here in the winter so I can't say much about the pool. I get the vibe that it would be clean and up to a Best Wester standard. Third Star is cause they are pet friendly for ten bucks a head. Small price to pay to travel with the puff. Right on main street close to 153 30 min to Eaglepoint Ski Resort and across the street from Mel's burger joint.
