For those of you not familiar with the United States, it snows quite heavily in Arizona during the winter. I suppose I should be happy that the rack rate was reasonable during what could only be called the "Great Avalanche From The Sky". No double entendre, "rack rate" means the price of the room at the front desk if you haven't booked online. Maybe it also means the price when you call the reservation desk --- I don't know. During the avalanche, there was no cell phone service. Patrons get a little surly when snowed in. I ran into some British tourists who were extremely unpleasant. No, I'm not from Hong Kong, and it's not a British colony anymore. Stars and bars for everyone, but don't thank Jimmy Carter. Just kidding. Anyway, the room was clean. The food from the gas station was terrible. Call it a life. read more

UPDATE: So my stay here was not good. After checking out and driving over an hour on freeway realized we left Meds in fridge. Tried to call and get help. See first review. I sent in a complaint to Wyndham about issues. They emailed explaining that property owner would address my issues. Guess what. Over a month later they haven't even tried to contact me. Really???? This place is so bad. Ignore it and it will go away attitude. Why would I stay at any Wyndham properties?? If this is quality control then there isn't any. STAY HERE AT OWN RISK. Safety concerns and no front desk staff when you need them. Locked doors taped so they won't lock. Crazy!! read more

One of the two beds had a dip in it the size of a laundry basket. We were too tired to say anything. In addition the springs squeaked when one moved. It was an uncomfortable night. Watch out for 2 ft drop in parking lot of the front side the building, it'll kill your car. The carpet is gross and seems to be one gross oily, stickiness, bring & use flip flops. The "breakfast" was a hard pass. It's incredible to me that in this day and age there still are places like this that are understaffed and under-maintained. Sketchy. Okay, well night 4 pushed my rating down 2*. A couple checked in after 8pm & were 2 doors down from me. I overheard their continual slamming noise & they were so loud, I actually thought an entire family had checked into multiple rooms & I was just going to have to deal with it. Doors slamming constantly, loud running all up & down the entire hallway (thought it was children), loud talking (I couldn't hear what they were saying as I was too far away from the door & working on the computer in my room)... I had no idea of the real issues or that it was only 2 people... I really thought it was at least 4 adults with several children... I'd resigned myself to probably not getting a good night's sleep. They were causing so much commotion for 2-hrs (apparently he threatened to kill himself & his gf) that someone called the police. When the policeman brought the tweaked out sounding dude into the hallway, after 20-min of loud talking, he brought him down the end of the hall (well, lucky me, my room was at the end of the hall), 'til he was obviously so scary & his stories didn't add up, that another office was called as back up. I heard 1 officer ask why he was being so hostile & they guy must have said 100-times he was sorry, it wouldn't happen again "I promise" over & over 'til I almost opened the door to scream at the drunken, pilled out tweaker "shut up!" They told him he'd need to leave the hotel & that his moronic gf said she'd be out in the morning. I then heard car doors slamming for over an hour... I'm assuming that was the dolt in the parking lot moving stuff around so he could sleep in his car. This took 'til 11:45pm. So, even after 4-hrs of noise, I heard wailing from some stupid girl in the room next door... did they move her next door to me?... so much so, that I pounded on the wall after 10-min. At 1am (the tweakers unnerved me & ruined my sleep, after I heard the cop keep asking him if he had weapons) I looked outside & a poorly parked car was parked in a spot that wasn't a lined parking space... must have been him sleeping it off. I'm up for a few more hours, even though I have to get on the road at 8am, cuz in the back of my mind, I know that side door is unlocked (see my previous review... he's parked right outside of it) & he can return at any time. Too bad, but if I returned to the area, I'd probably try another hotel. It's a nice place, but this is what happens when you stay at the cheapest place. There were about a dozen moths flying around in my room. Some moths were dead and were just laid out throughout the room. I was too tired from the drive to ask for another room since moths really didn't annoy me, but the fact that they were there was just something they could have fixed before I arrived there. At least they include "breakfast" which is a coupon for a small meal located across the street at the Mexican restaurant. Internet was sparse. No other amenities. But then again...this is Beaver...which is just a stopover for me, so at least they had running hot water and a bed. read more

My family of 6 needed a place on our cross country trip. With 6 of us, $$ matters. We got 2 rooms side by side. Each with 2 Queen beds. One also had a new small fridge, microwave and flat screen tv (304). The other only had an old tube tv with bad reception/picture (303). $64 per room. Total $128 for 2 rooms...I was happy. Hubby and I had the less luxurious room. LOL but they are VERY spacious. Relatively quiet. Clean. Older, but clean. I'm working on this trip, so I don't care about TV. Very small town. Seems a pretty safe area. Strict liquor laws here. Buy your booze before 6pm Friday! read more

Room smelled like feces. Saw a stain on floor looking like something was wiped up rather than deep cleaned. Clerk just said he'd spray some Febreeze, that the smell was there now and then. Never came to check it out. We were exhausted from trip and it was supposedly last available room. Walls paper thin. Could hear every movement and word from neighboring room. It smells like a fart in my room, the beds are taco makers, none of the employees are wearing masks. Super, I'm gonna get the rona. Oh and the trucks driving by all night using engine brakes are awesome. So fart sounds to go with my fart room. But the AC is stuck on 60 so I'm gonna freeze all night. Awesome days inn. Oh, and the cable tv comes in worse than most antenna based television I've seen. EDIT: all my suspicions confirmed in the morning when I saw the room cleaners wasn't wearing a mask. Sitting just yards from a truck stop with thousands of travelers from all over the country driving through, staying and spreading covid. The ignorance(willful) is insane. read more

This is a motel without an office -- you check in at the truck stop next door, which is staffed 24/7. It's new (built in 2008), clean, and super cheap. The wifi works great. There's a big ol' (32") flat screen TV, not that we tried it. Now, given that the truck stop folks are checking you in, you're not going to get a whole lot of hand-holding, and it's not like there's room service. There are some eccentricities, like the bathroom vent that never turns off; a bathroom door that closes but doesn't latch; a burned-out light or two; and perhaps older linens. On the other hand, the bathroom towels are thick and comfy, and the coffee brewer in the room is fairly fancy. If you get the slightly more expensive king bed, they'll throw in a free breakfast at the truck stop diner (which was definitely better than some of the "free breakfast buffet" experiences that we've had on this trip). For this genre of motel (which the town seems to be full of), the minor problems seem par for the course. Did I mention super cheap? read more

I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when we rolled in here at 2:30 in the morning after 12 hours and the clerk told us that, not only did continental breakfast last until checkout at 11, but we also got vouchers for a place across the street for free pancakes, eggs and sausage, or a breakfast burrito, valid all day. The room was clean and nice. The beds were firm and the pillows were super fluffy. We didn't use the microwave, but the fridge fit our whole small cooler. Instead of one bottle of "conditioning shampoo," there was both shampoo and conditioner. The continental breakfast was donuts, fruit, coffee, and tea. The free breakfast at Valerie's was fresh and warm, and the family gave it 3-4 stars. Plus, it was free, so, score! We paid $64 for the night, and I'm very satisfied. read more

Place was pretty new...rooms not bad..gave vouchers for a light breakfast at the restaurant next door or they take $3.00 off anything on the regular menu, not to bad...but to me they are way over priced on the rooms I wish we would have stayed at the beaver lodge it was $42 and $10 pet fee and it had just as many good reviews and it was buy a cute cafe ..next time for sure ..days inn was $95 plus $9 pet fee and the towns not that big..nothing to do but be on your way after breakfast. .. read more

It says there's a breakfast but there isn't do not stay here if you want a good breakfast they just have coffee and some stale donuts I stay days inns because they always have a great breakfast the 1st time I've ever stated a Days Inn and 10 years that has donuts for breakfast and they tell you there's a Denny's next door if you want to eat Be aware there is no breakfast no breakfast except donuts and some like coffee read more

We stayed there last night & lets just say it was our first and last stay. They advertise breakfast but offer stale donuts & brown bananas. False advertising at best. Also we had two rooms and the heater didn't work in either room. After calling the front desk for help five times we gave up and froze instead. If you're looking for a place that is noisy, smells like smoke, and offers no customer service then this is the place. read more

Don't hesitate to spend the night here but call ahead to reserve as the rooms fill up fast. Nice white soft towels, and plenty of them. Bed comfy. Bathroom rather spare but so clean. Friendly voiced Laura at the front desk. Coffee and GREAT donuts in AM with an added breakfast coupon for Robertos across the street...(stay away from their frozen pancakes!) One of the newer places to spend the night in this little town set in a beautiful valley...but make the dash to your room quick as the locusts come out to play at night, beware! read more

There's no elevator here. If you cannot do stairs, then make sure to reserve a ground floor room. It's a decent stay if you're here for one night. It's an older building, though it looks like it has had some recent upgrades. Quiet, even though it's full of truckers. Shower is hot, but water pressure is lacking. They have Keurig machines in the rooms. They offer free breakfast at the gas station taco shop across the street, though the service at the taco shop is always rude to hotel guests. read more

For the price and convenience this place fits the bill perfectly. Fairly spacious typical room with two queens. Large tile floored bathroom. Small fridge, large sink and medium sized desk round out the room. This place is by no means luxurious or super comfy. If you want a super dope fly bed, this is not the place for you. The room was good size and everything looked newly remodeled. I have read the reviews. This is a good value if you just want to stay the night on your way up the highway. As of the review date, the stay includes breakfast at the Flying J across the street. Reasonable prices. I booked on Orbitz. Good selection of pillows. Big rooms. Parking okay near room. I stayed on first floor. Newer flat screen TV. You can't connect HDMI to their TV. Worth the low price I paid. You can find lower prices off the Highway. Good location about 8 hr drive from Los Angeles. Heater worked well. Remodeled rooms. read more

Clean and the beds were comfortable. We had 2 rooms. In the one room there was no lamp, clock or phone. The other room had one dinky lamp by the one bed but not the other. No lamp for the desk. The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant but couldn't help us with replacing the missing items. Overall this was not what we expected from a Days Inn. read more

New carpet, painted walls, clean room, updated decorations and quiet. I was very impressed with the value of this Days Inn. They even had Keurig cups and a makeup remover towelette available. Well the price was cheap but then so was the room and the service. The place was being run by some teenagers who we guessed are the owners kids. The beds were VERY HARD. They had no pool or hot tub. And we were given a voucher for breakfast at the truck stop. Not a good night but cheap. read more
