We've just returned from a very nice celebration of retirement in Branson and stayed at this Best Western. I think over all you will not be dissappointed because it is a very nice centrally located to everything you will want to do. This time of year was perfect to go, there wasn't a lot of people there yet, but just enough. Here is what you need to becareful about: the water in room 314 is very very hot. Do not just turn it on and use it. You will burn yourself. If you run out of anything you need to tell them. You can't just call them, you have to walk to the front desk, but like eveything, you may be a while waiting for someone to answer. Also, be mindful there is a mildew smell I think through the air conditioning. I love this hotel! The staff is so kind and helpful! The heated pool and spa that stays open until midnight was amazing. It's within walking distance to so many places to eat and fun things to do. It's tucked back from the Main Street so it's actually pretty quiet. You can hear people from the inside hallway but not too bad and I honestly never expect complete silence when staying at a hotel. The complimentary breakfast was delish with so many options! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with bacon bits, cereals, juice, sausage, and coffee! Beds were comfortable and room was well maintained. The only thing is I wish they had thicker blankets because I got a little cold but I'm sure front desk would bring or give you more. This motel had really great staff. The room was clean enough. We didn't need 4 stars, as we were running around all day and only went to sleep there. Pluses were doors leading directly outside and a close by grassy area for pets. Downside was the awful bathroom with a tiny toilet so close to the wall and door you bumped your elbow while using. Shower door leaked and flooded the bathroom. What a mess. read more

Not the best western quality I'd expect. Walking into the room there was a slight mildew smell to it, not a clean smell. Hubby said it was probably stale air so we placed our bags in the room and left to run around Branson. We came back rather late to enjoy the outdoor pool which was opened untill midnight. The pool had way too much chlorine in it. A couple people were complaining. Came back to the room and our bedding felt wet. It was a disgusting feeling. Terrible. Too late to do anything now, we are in room 152. Waking up the room smelled like mildew coming from the ac unit. Would NOT stay here. MUCH better choices here in Branson to have to deal with mildew, shouldn't have to. I knew when I first smelled it we should have requested a refund and moved on to a much better room. read more

One of the best inns in the area, there hot breakfast is awesome, and both indoor & outdoor pools / spas were clean and fun. It's really close to a lot of fun attractions too. Rooms are clean and sanitary, the tv has like 100 Channels, there is an arcade that you can go play games in too! The staff were friendly and kind and we enjoyed every minute being there. Decent hotel for the price, though not without its issues. Upon arrival, there was some confusion as I'd booked a room for three nights, but they originally stated I there for two. When I pointed out this discretion, the gentleman at the counter quickly corrected himself and claimed the day staff had made a minor error but it had no effect on my booking. He was very helpful in getting me directed to my room and provided a wealth of information in helping me to navigate my way around. My initial impression of the room was positive. The place looked and smelled clean, AC unit worked well, bed was pretty comfortable, pillows were nice, clean towels, polished surfaces, clean microwave and mini-fridge, clean toilet, carpet, and tile. I did notice a small clump of hair in the tub, and the sink valve was closed with some standing water left inside, which struck me as odd. Internet worked well enough to do what I needed to do, though I did notice a bit of buffering here and there. Not a big deal as I didn't go to Branson just to sit around a hotel room and watch YouTube all day. To be fair though, some of the other businesses located on 76 were reporting internet issues that weekend, so I felt lucky to have access to the internet at all. My stay was overall quiet and uneventful. Every guest I encountered seemed happy and friendly. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative. Everyone I spoke to ask how I slept and if my room was satisfactory. The breakfast bar was fantastic, and I'm not just saying that because it was inclusive. There were three cereal options, toast, bagels, a customizable waffle bar, a variety of juices, coffee, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, sausage or ham (seemed to switch daily) and a hot breakfast dish that changed daily. All of it was really good, and again, the staff in the breakfast area was super friendly. It was a wonderful start to my day. One final complaint though, as I was packing to leave, I happened to notice a few brightly colored objects under and near the head of the bed. Upon closer inspection I recognized those objects to be candy pieces that resembled peanut M&Ms, and they appeared to have been there a while. So while the housekeeping staff did a pretty good job at doing a general clean, their attention to detail could use a bit more...attention. Despite a few tiny things, my overall stay was pleasant and I will absolutely consider staying there again. read more

Wanted to give this place a chance but I was severely disappointed by our room. It REEKED of that mildew/old folks home smell. Our door didn't even close all the way, and I saw a little jumping spider crawl through the crack at the bottom within a minute of having the door shut. TV disappointingly small. Our bedsheets were slightly damp. We ended up just going home because we were just so disappointed and grossed out by our room, and knew it wouldn't get much better. Only upside is the employees here are very nice! Wish we got to try the breakfast, but I didn't have much of an appetite with the smell of the room anyways. read more

Woke up with ever joint and muscle in my back hurting. Terrible beds. Otherwise, good service, clean rooms.

Excellent location. We were directly behind the titanic museum which put us a little off of center of the strip but within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars and shopping. We were also directly across the street from a Walgreens which was convenient for other miscellaneous items we needed during our stay like sunblock for the waterpark. The staff was extremely friendly the whole time that we were there, even just passing them in the hallway. We stayed in room 248 which was a convenient location from the side stairs entrance to the building and was a quick walk to everything from the ice/pop machines, hot tub, lobby, breakfast and to the gym. The outdoor pool was a surprise hit with the family because the water was very cold and refreshing so although both pools are smaller, it was nice to have both choices during our trip. Ok so the staff is the nicest in the world and are so friendly and understanding. We stayed for 4 days and I had allergy type symptoms.The room was full of spiders and it was so disgusting.their was also a hair on our bed sheets.Eventually we decide to look for the allergy source so we opened the AC unit thingy in the room and low and behold the thing was disgusting ass hell and was almost pitch black.Chile I recommend any other hotel even if the staff a little ghetto. read more

Upon entry to my room I was greeted by an overwhelming, musty oder. The smell was very unique and it lingered our whole stay. The best way to describe the smell is the combination of black mold and that weird smell vacuums give off right before they stop working. The lingering smell and taste that filled your mouth and nose while being in the room made our dinner hard to eat. I definitely don't have void. I could smell and taste that entire room. No thanks, bud. Stay at grandmas. PS my girlfriend did say the hot breakfast was worth mentioning. I'm not sure if I'd trust her review or not. The Branson Center Pointe Best Western Inn has almost everything but great views. Location is the star here, right on Route 76 across the street from the Clay Cooper Theater and a bang-up souvenir "barn," with numerous other theaters and restaurants walkable. The staff at this motel was very helpful and there was an agent of "iBranson" (ticket agency) on premises. Minor gripes: The earth-toned interiors, while clean, are getting a bit dated. The Timex alarm clocks, which are supposed to cue themselves to automatic time signals, do not -- and cannot be manually adjusted. We were there for the shoulder week between late fall and early "Christmas" season, yet the rates we paid were full-on. The full breakfast was fine, and varies from day to day. Room smells like mildew bad. Coffee maker doesn't work. Other guest children yelling and crying outside of my room. Beds are not bad and comfy. Cable cuts out constantly. Wi-Fi is atrocious. Customer service was courteous and overall great. The mildew smell is the worse part. read more

The employees of this motel were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. This staff should be training hotel staff across the country and should be praised from owners and management. The decor was older but the staff was so exceptional that we barely noticed . The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable, but I can't say the staff is very curteous after my last interaction with them. They do something I haven't seen before, which is very bible-belt of them. They leave the bible out and open on the table with a little note in it about travel in biblical times or something. It's weird, but probably pretty normal for Branson. However, when I mentioned this on another review site, I recieved a response from the hotel that said that I am not a good "fit" for Branson because they are all about God, family and country or some such crap. I go to Branson a lot, because I love SDC and the shopping, etc. It seems very rude to assume that I shouldn't return just because of a simple statement on a review site. I was simply pointing out that they do this so that people who would be bothered by that kind of thing would know not to stay there. My husband and I lived in the Ozarks for a long time, so it didn't really bother us. We just thought it was kind of funny. read more

We had made reservations well in advance of our stay. We got to the hotel a bit early and our room was ready. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was beautiful and nicely appointed. On the table was an open Bible with a card that spoke of travellers. It was a very nice touch! The bed was so comfortable that I got the best night sleep here that I got for the entire vacation. The locations of the hotel was wonderful. We ate dinner next door at Paschetti's Italian and then saw the Buckets and Board show next door at the Starlight Theatre. For us, the hotel was in the perfect location for what we wanted to do on our one day in Branson. The breakfast was great! They had chocolate chip cookie pancakes that my daughter drooled over. The eggs, while out of a box, did come with sides like salsa and cheese which made them ok. The pool area was clean and smelled of chlorine. We didn't use the pool because we didn't have time, but it looked very inviting. All in all, this is definitely a hotel I would recommend. We will be staying here again for our next trip to Branson. read more

My husband and I stayed a few nights here and will stay again. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has been recently remodeled. Our room/ bathroom was a very nice size and the bed was comfortable with lots of soft pillows which I like. The hotel offers free breakfast and a Very nice indoor pool. read more

The room was clean but the whole place needs a re-model. Paint was blistering in the bathroom as well as other obvious signs of water damage and shotty patchwork. The ceiling was warped and texture knocked off. Several repairs had been done in the room but the patchwork not painted. The air conditioning worked but put out a musty/moldy smell. Paint on the outside doors was blistering on some units. Breakfast was good, fresh and well stocked. We were within walking distance of many attractions. Great staff! read more

Very clean , love they have indoor and out door pool and Jacuzzi, the Complementary breakfast was pretty good, lots of choices of cereals& oat meal & pastries& you can make your own waffles and pancakes and they have biscuits and gravy and eggs and ham or sausage, coffee of course ! Before last night I would of given this hotel 5 stars. Comfortable bed, clean, good tv, air conditioner that works well etc. However, things changed last night when at about 2:45 in the morning, a random dude with keycard in hand, opened up our lock, flipped on the lights, and came into our room. Me, in my dead asleep state wondered if it was the maid or a nightmare. But no, a man really was in our room and although he was most apologetic and left quickly, really freaked me out. I wondered if he had really just come in or had been there awhile planning to do harm to us or something of the sort. The rest of the night wasn't very restful to say the least. Brought this up to the desk clerk this morning, and expecting a profuse apology, "Bob" proceeded to argue with us and claim that there was no one in the room. Hmmm, interesting. We paid for 2 nights. Bob eventually gave us our money back for that night, but it took getting angry to get anything done. We really just wanted an apology and a reason why something like this might have happened. Aren't the keycards reset after every guest? Why weren't we down in the computer? This situation could have gotten real ugly real fast. They're fortunate we weren't armed at the moment or awake where we could've done some real harm to this guy for coming in our room. And if he had come in a couple of hours earlier, he might've seen something he'd never forget. I'd like to have an explanation how this could've possibly have happened. read more

I called the front desk saying the toilet was clogged from before we had the chance to use the bathroom. Their response was they were busy but we could use the the plunger ourselves to unclog it. Awkward silence. When asked if there were any other options they were rude and arrogant. No apologies, just the statement of "are you coming to get the plunger?" When asked for the manager, they said it would have to wait for the next day. When I asked if they have options for maintenance on the toilet they replied, "not at night" I asked if they had an emergency work order.... They said "sure... If it was a true emergency " they did finally arrive to plunge the toilet. Walked in plunged, walked out without a word... I went after down the hall asking if it was fixed.... Eyes rolled, returned without a word flushed and then sarcastically said "seems to be working" walked out. Both staff are arrogant, rude, and unapologetic. I will certainly be the same with my future business here and with this hotel. read more

It did the trick for our trip to Branson with the kids. The weather was terrible when we were there, so we didn't get to try the outdoor pool - but the indoor pool and hot tub were very nice! The breakfast in the morning was very convenient as well. All in all, an OK choice for the area. However, our first floor room was quite damp, and smelled musty-moldy - never really cleared up even with the AC running. Seeing as there had been a LOT of rain and flooding issues recently, I wonder if there had been some water leakage into the room that never quite dried properly. And over our 3 days there, we never were able to have housekeeping come to the room - we'd leave in the morning and be gone until about 3, to rest before the evening - and without fail, they wouldn't get to our portion of the hotel until at least 4. We did have an issue with a group that were there - I believe a baseball team of some sort... every night the kids would come down to the pool and would be VERY rowdy - with either no adult supervision, or the adults would be well relaxed with drinks around the hot tub. It would get to the point that those of us with younger kids would have to remove ourselves from the pool for fear our kids would get hurt. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel - but still unpleasant. read more

Nice room, quiet, good area, really nice pool, good wifi, good breakfast room -nice and big, you can tell they're used to having tons of guests, everything went really smoothly. Four stars because I was horrifyingly allergic to something in this place -I sneezed easily 100+ times per day and my face was entirely puffy throughout my three day stay. read more

Nice hotel for decent price. Under $90 a night for a weekend rate with military discount. Operator working the 1-800 Best Western line said no military discount available, you ask when you check in. Room was clean, has a fridge if you need it and is in a good location. I liked the bible with the Strangers Prayer in the room. Nice to see a business stick to their values in a PC world. read more

Nice people and excellent location. The rate from Priceline was pretty good, especially since it included breakfast. I was considering going ahead and using the book another night option but then I looked at the bathroom door for some reason. Obviously no one else looks at the bathroom door including the cleaning staff because it was absolutely filthy and disgusting-covered with spatters of staff and oily finger marks and just dirt. So if the door's dirty what else is dirty. That really turned me off and I won't be going back. I'm paying more for a better hotel tomorrow night. read more

This is by far the WORSE, place to stay in Branson. My family and I come every year! We will never stay at this place. Room was gross, We had a scammer call our room at 9:30, they argued to give a discount. The second night was a nightmare as well! I recommend with kids not to stay there!!! read more
