We stayed here on our way to Florida. It was located right off 75 and super convenient. The hotel looked really nice from the outside. The rooms were a different story. The curtains were dirty and shredded, the tv looked like it was cleaned with furniture polish, the molding was coming off the wall, artwork had some fungus growing on it and I would not take my shoes off and walk on the moist carpet. The positives? You can stay here with a pet and they have little walk out patios. That's about it. Was really bummed! read more

Ok, I feel compelled to write this because I know part of the reason I booked at this hotel was because I read the reviews on this hotel. 98% of the time I ask to see the room before I stay but I had been driving for over 9 hours and was tired plus the lobby seemed lovely. That was my first mistake, from the minute I walked up to the patio which is where we entered, I knew it was not going to be good. The curtains were sheered at the bottom and filthy, the cushion chair in the room was in a goofy spot and the cushion was not on the chair nor was the lamp. The room seemed muggy, and damp and I figured someone had just shampooed the carpets which were NOT dry. There were holes in the walls, the wall sockets were not attached, and the bathroom was disgusting. Behind the dresser where there were overloaded wall sockets was so filthy I couldn't believe it. I immediately started using my Lysol wipes to try to feel somewhat comfortable staying. It is my fault that I should have gone to the front desk and demanded my money back and moved. But I do not want anyone else to experience what I did. After we went outside to sit by the pool just to wind down, I went back into my room and found a little yellow pill with an L on it. What if one of my dogs had ingested that? We slept there and the only good thing I will say is the beds were very comfortable but that is the only good thing I will say. I would not shower there I never had my feet touch any of the floors without slippers/sandals. When I checked out in the morning, I told the front desk, and they said virtually nothing. There are a lot of hotels in this area,, my advice DO NOT choose this one!! read more

I was a little hesitant booking a room at a small town highway hotel in the middle of GA, but after looking at the reviews, it seemed like a solid choice that had more than met the eye to offer. Unfortunately, I have never been steered wrong more than this by my fellow Yelpers. Upon arriving, we were given a key to one of the pet friendly rooms on the first floor. The clerk was not particularly charming, but she got the job done. When my husband and I entered the room, we were greeted with the strongest bleach smell I've ever smelled - the cloud of fumes burned my throat and my eyes, and we had to leave both doors open to try to air it out while we unpacked. While airing the room out for a good half hour, we had a good chance to look around... between that and the poop stains on the floor, the ripped up carpets, chewed up box spring, and mold we found under the glass on the framed wall art, we knew we needed a room. The clerk offered us another room on the same floor, which had such a strong pet urine odor, that we didn't even bother bringing our things over. After checking out yet another room which also had mold on the glass of the pictures and in the bathroom mirror, we were so disgusted with the hotel that we asked for our money back and continued our travels without staying the night. This was one of those experiences that just kept getting worse and worse. I've never checked out of a hotel without staying the night, but we had no option. I honestly cannot understand how there are so many good reviews here. Aside from the fact that we only looked at pet rooms, there was no excuse for the mold or the ripped up furniture and overbearing bleach smells. read more

Very Dissappointing for a Best Western! We were stunned at the age and dirtiness of everything in our room. The carpet had clearly not been vaccuumed in at least a year. The furniture, bathroom fixtures, and lamps, etc. were so old and rusty, we couldn't believe it. The bed was good, but that's all. read more

Oh my word . I mean , you're always a little worried when making a stop along the highway for an overnight . Cordele is the 1-2 way point between Atl and Jacksonville . We chose this Best Western because it had good reviews and had a great price . I love fancy! But for just an overnight in a short roadtrip, I just need safe and clean ; comfortable bed . When I pulled in it was an older bldg , an unassuming motel . But when I stepped into the lobby ?? It looked fresh , comfortable and was obviously well taken care of . It smelled nice ! There were two girls there , Alex and Kimberly, who were taking CARE of other customers . Like , taking CARE of their customers ! Great vibe going on . Oh , also , cookies were being baked and when I stepped up to the desk I was greeted and then promptly told "we are just baking cookies ! Would you like a fresh cookie ?" I mean ... southern hospitality at its finest . We were quickly checked in , they gave the deets on where to eat , and told all we needed to know about the motel, in the most pleasant manner . We got into our room ...CLEAN AND SO FRESH ! We were so happy ! Within 5 minutes the girls up front called . "How is your room ? Is there anything you need !" I mean , is it 1965 up in here ???? The bed , super comfy , Clean , cold AC ;simple room . This is the best overnight motel /hotel I've ever stayed in because of those girls and the obvious care they have for their place and their customer . This will be my stop whenever I travel this way in the future . I commend them for their over the top care in their job ! Oh and yes, I had a cookie or two ! Oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip . Budget motel in a Georgia city that have both seen better days. Good location off I-75. Did not feel entirely safe in the immediate environment. Noisy with workers repairing their watermelon trucks and train whistles constantly blowing approximately every 30 minutes throughout the night. Two entry doors, one to the inner hallway that could not be secured adequately and the second to the outside parking lot. My room did not look as nice as the photos presented. Dungy and dark would be a good description on first impression. Pillows, linens, paper products, average. Mattress adequate. Clean room and bathroom if you didn't inspect closely. Breakfast would be described as minimal to be able to relate that you provide this service. Would find reasons not to stay in Cordele again and if I had to would explore other options available. read more

In town for an event and this was one of our only options. It was clean but very out dated. You enter room from outside. The patio door to our room did not close completely without you pulling it closed. When we returned from being gone our door was ajar!! Nothing was missing. We assume cleaning service didn't pay attention to be sure it closed/latched when they were done. Talked to front desk attendant and they offered to move us to a different room - which we didn't as we only had one more night there. They seemed rather unfazed by this happening. read more

very unprofessional women in the housekeeping department. All you hear throughout the halls is very loud cussing it explains why my pillows cases had spots in them. Easy to find off the interstate. Dog friendly and they put you on the first floor. Basic hotel room. We liked the access from both the hall and the exterior. Room was small but priced well and pet fees are quite reasonable. Breakfast was good...included in room fee. Included eggs and meat. Hotel is well kept. Lots of restaurants nearby if you want something else including a Cracker Barrel in walking distance. Recommend for ppl traveling with dogs. read more

Very poor experience. Because of a faulty lock that was broken before we ever arrived, we were locked out of our room for over an hour and the manager never even said "sorry." Very crabby. The rooms were not great, with extremely noisy air conditioning and a constantly running toilet. It was also rather expensive, particularly for how lousy it was. Never going back. There are lots of other hotels in the area I would look into. The one bright spot was an employee named Kathy who was very friendly and helpful, but just not able to fix the problem. As someone who stays in hotels all the time, I am rarely impressed. I usually stay in "nicer" hotels like Westins or Sheratons, but I was driving from Orlando to Atlanta and got too tired and had to stop in this town that doesn't have any such accommodations. For $59, I got a sparkling clean room with an entrance from an interior hallway and a glass door out to a little patio area leading to a sidewalk to the pool. The room was simple, but tasteful and updated. It had a microwave and fridge and a table and chairs. Best of all, there was no strange smell, and I did not even feel the need to lift up the mattress and use the flashlight on my phone to check for bed bugs - I cannot say this about every Westin I have been in. In the morning there was a complimentary breakfast buffet that was equal to if not better than the one I had pad $18.95 for the previous day at the Doubletree in Orlando. The staff here - from the front desk staff to the housekeeping crew - were all super friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about every guest's happiness. In summation, While this room was $59/night, I would have paid $100/night without blinking an eye and still would have felt like I was getting a great deal. I have not been this impressed by any hotel in a very long time. read more

The room was really clean, updated, and large. They were working on updating furniture in the rooms, but everything was already in good condition. There is also really nice glass patio doors that allowed me to watch my son while he ran around in the grass out back. Breakfast area/ lobby was also pretty clean and updated. The breakfast was really nice compared to many free breakfasts I've experienced. They had decent selection and the food was fresh. For less than 90$ after taxes, it was a great place to rest up and continue on the road. Would definitely choose here again. read more

For a 1-night layover (with a large dog) this hotel hits the three C's: COZY, CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. The room and bathroom were very clean. Great hotel if stopping for just an overnight stay before hitting the road again and you don't want to spend a fortune just to sleep. Front desk staff in the evening and in the morning were very friendly. Free complimentary breakfast was delicious with many different things to choose from and the dining area was very clean. Our room was perfect for an overnight stay: comfortable beds and clean room. There are a lot of choices for food to choose from near this hotel for those who don't mind grabbing a fast bite to eat. If you are looking for a quick place to stop, eat, shower and rest before hitting the road again, this is the perfect spot. I will be visiting again on my next road trip. read more

We have been staying here since 2017 on our way to and from our property in Georgia , we have nothing but good things to say about this place , the rooms are comfortable, clean and pet friendly, all the staff is friendly and helpful from the cleaning staff to the front lobby personnel. Every room is $69 bucks, we had 2 adults, 3 kids and they are pet friendly ( extra 10 bucks for pets). Breakfast was pretty good.... Waffles, bagels, grits, awesome sausage, BNG, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, pastries and more. The beds are so comfy I wanted to steal the pillows and mattress. I would totally stay again! Oh and staff was friendly and clean rooms. Fridge, microwave and coffee also in the rooms. They have a pool with a little swing set. read more
